Global Developer 8.2.24 Leaked

If someone wanna try it, in the morning in Miui Forum the Global Dev Rom was leaked and all posts were removed after a short time.
Please use this Rom at your own risk! I am not able to test it since my phone is at service, so i can't say if it has any bugs or issues!

as i said it was leaked in miui forum, but then the thread and posts including this link were deleted, i downloaded the file but i have currently not my mi note 3 because it is for repair in the service center, so i can't test it.
The Link is from official miui server, so the package is realy from xiaomi, i think that maybe on friday they will start to release global developer roms finally.

Installed it. And it's working. But FaceID is still not there. After installation TWRP gone.

xiaomi.eu is based on china developer version and china stable version and modified, and yes xiaomi.eu is a good custom rom, but nothing more and not comparable to a xiaomi global developer or stable rom.

Global stable official is more,well,stable then xiaomi.eu stable. Tryed them and went back to global stable.

I just hope they could fix the damm lack of notifications of whatsup, facebook and Instagram, and also the stupid MIU sounds...

Installed this about four or five times. The first one and the last were free from the Chinese bloatware and both languages and regions were complete. The others were like Chinese rom.

8.3.1 EU rom doesn't has that new notifications but this has. So I'm gonna stuck with this untill they add this feature to their rom.

He might prefer the original global experience, that has less features than china ROM. No problem, not everyone wants more features.

I just wish notifications could work normally and sound notifications....

At this point, probably not. You'll likely need to have a custom recovery, and a modified zip of the Chinese rom (not sure if the original rom would flash or have any issues).

empty? : D for me the CN is terrible. I can only use English, games downloaded from google play crash, full of bugs, etc.

Really?luckily i get the global one?maybe CN rom not stable?

I had both in hands and kept global, CN is more STABLE and frequently updated more often, CN is better smoother and faster when I compared both phones while turning on cn was much faster also fingerprint works better and faster on CN, more free ram about 5.7GB compared to global 4.7GB, however play services, google play wont work properly at least now so I still preffer global, much less hastle with compatibility issues

i am also trying to go fo China ROM. I am using Global ROM currently, which is 'empty' and not interesting at all. No screen recorder, no other features like was available in Helo or BS1 China ROM... Anyone has link to CN ROM please update

No, not stable. I used BS2 for 4 days, during which time I had to restart 11 times. google play services stop regularly; when the screen is active, the BS logo start illuminating before if the system thinks it wants to be lit now because it is not always lit

I am on the CN Rom, but I can't tet OK Google to work unless it is from the Google App itself. Any ideas?

Telstra Australia Launched SM-G977B S10 5G

I haven't seen this listed anywhere since a search for this model number brings up nothing.
The Australian stock is the model SM-G977B
Its an Exynos version with the old UFS and the model given as part of the free upgrade promo (when you preordered the s10 plus), is a 512GB black variant.
I can't see much development being done for this since obviously no one has this model, but I'd love to be able to root it.
Hopefully more people will get this phone, and some dev can start. If there's anything I can do to get the ball rolling, let me know!

Hey mate, I have already achieved root day one of receiving my device from this offer , I am by no means an advanced developer but technology is my passion. The process was simple due to it being the same process as topjohnwu already published. This is the official page for the instructions by topjohnwu which do work: topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/install.html#samsung-system-as-root. If you struggle at any point feel free to reply. I will be posting this in the development threat for others so there aware.
As for TWRP, thats a different story, I have tried flashing TWRP from the s10+ and hoping it would work but it did not which was to be expected. So I am attempting my own build of TWRP by modifying the s10+ TWRP to match the s10 5G. Mind you I have never compiled TWRP or Android. I have mainly tinkered with iOS on apples hardware so no promises I'll figure it out nor that it will be bug-free but if I do manage to find it I'll post it for another developer to maybe check and fix.
But root is definitely possible as of now,

Hey mate, over the air updates I believe do not work. To update you'd need to download the latest firmware and repatch the ap file. But I haven't done this. There is a forum post somewhere outlining the process though so I'll try and dig that up.
As for the exposed framework I haven't tested that out nor have I used it before but it is something I wanna dive into. The last time I tinkered with Android was years ago where exposed wasn't a big thing. But I have seen users state they've got it running from edxposed or something like that from the magisk add on panel. So I'll give it a try now and report back to you.
As for the firmware I cannot upload any links as I'm a new user. But if you shoot me an email [email protected] I'll be happy to send you the link I personally used.

Did you received the PM ? I would like to know, if possible, if you are on ipv4 with bouygues and with data ok ? Eventually share your bouygues APN settings ?

It is just a lucky case, all of us are able to use a vpn but update doesn't arrive

Which vpn you are using? I'm tried with ufo vpn but no luck btw my phone is chinese variant

No luck yet! I guess it only works who filled the early access form.

Now we have C21

I got c21, with purevpn India in EU. Its really fast and nice ui but it broke google pay nfc payments for me. Some error about device might be rooted and is not certified.

I updated also my eu phone to realme ui. Do you have option for sidebar? Because mine disappeared after the update

Sidebar seems to be gone from me as well. Is this still beta version? Seems pretty final apart from broken google pay.

I don't think so, I had the update on the EU version with Indian firmware, I think it's quite risky

Hi !!!! I have a French CPH1919 with CPH1919EX_11_C.33 ROM (that I get from Indian VPN).
I do not have Trial Setting in the updates option through VPN, so I can't download Color OS 11 Beta. Is anyone can help me ?

Would you happen to know of a direct download link for this update? Or might you be able to post a copy of the file that you downloaded for others to access?
Many of us in areas where updates are often delayed for long periods, such as here in Canada, use a VPN to download updates from India as soon as they're available. However, this method doesn't work so far for participating in / downloading the beta.

I think is not possible to acess update's file, so, we have to wait till stable release...

Today should be the release of coloros 11 final in India and Indonesia. Did someone receive it?

I am trying with Speedify India and Indonesia servers, but nothing

It seems Oppo won't release the full Android 11 ROM on their support site for a while (Find X2 Android 11 was available since last Nov but the full ROM is still not available for download as of now).
For us non India/Indonesia variant users might need to do the region change trick to get the download working, saw that on Find X2 Pro forum but haven't try that out myself yet:

Update:
I was able to swtich my Taiwan variant (CPH1919TW) to India version using the method above, and has upgraded my phone to Android 11 successfully. Not even VPN is needed, just click the apply trial version in settings after reboot.
Overall some nice improvments here and there, not as huge improvement going from Android 9 to Andorid 10, but still a nice upgrade. System is smooth as usual (I didn't do a clean install, just upgrade).
Considering there is still no confirmed upgrade schedule on other regions, it's worth to try the above method, it's not that difficult neither.

After switch to India version, apply trial version and now downloading in Czech republic without VPN.

Working in The Netherlands! Changed to Phone to India with above mentioned tutorial and now downloading coloros11, thanks!
And now that the phone region is India I finally have the dual wifi option available in the settings

Using the above guide Android 11 working fine. But now the phone has some bloatware on it - the Oppo App Store - though you can hide Hotapps & Hotgames in the AppStore settings.
I thought changing the region back EuropeEx might get rid of it - but I get the error 'Connection problem or invalid mmi code', instead of the region screen appearing in the dialer.
Anyway around this?
The dual-wifi works fine - its connects to my 2_4ghz and 5Ghz bands simultaneously. Overall Im more than happy with the Android 11 upgrade and would recommend it.
