Xtrons android 8.1 power issues - Android Head-Units

I've recently purchased a Ford specific xtrons head unit which can with all leads and canbus box! However the unit does not power on and off when the key is inserted and will randomly power off while driving! Also the lights on the head unit do not switch on when I turn on my lights and the screen also doesn't dim! Any help would be much appreciated thanks

Atoto A6 Pro, ignition power cycling problem

Hi all
Just picked up an Atoto A6 Pro for my 2014 CRV Touring.
Everything is wired correctly and I popped the unit in.
I am experiencing an issue where the device will not power cycle unless I press the power buttons on the unit itself.
No wake on ignition and it does not turn off with the key removed either.
I verified power is properly reaching the unit with a multimeter (checked ignition power and constant power).
And now I have tried reversing accessory/ignition power on the radio harness. Now the unit will turn on/off with ignition BUT it does not seem to receive any power when ignition is off. Causing it to lose stored time, and to slowly reboot each time the ignition is turned on.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
thanks

USB Volume Control

Hey
Need a hand troubleshooting why a volume knob I purchased doesn't work. Unfortunately I can't post outside links, but the USB volume control knob is on amazon.ca, some details from the head unit are -
Android:YT9216C_AHD00005_V004_20191030_HIFI
Android os: 8.1 XY AUTO: 3.1 (8227L)
CAN Pro: 3.0 (8227L)
DDR: 2G FLASH: 32G
cpu: A7 1.3GHz x4
display: 1024*600
MCU: 3.1 (8227L)
The knob lights up, and when turned the volume bar appears at the bottom of the screen appears and changes, however the volume stays the same. If I turn the knob all the way down, it will mute the volume but it jumps from the system volume (set with the buttons on screen) to mute, and then back up to system volume once the knob is turned up again.
Anyone recommend something to try? Rest of the unit functions perfectly, just would like a physical volume control rather than diving for these buttons. Also wouldn't mind upgrading this to a more recent version of android if anyone has any pointers on that.
Thanks in advance!
Not an MTCx head unit, so have requested moved to Android head units forum.
Your question might be best answered in one of the threads related to your unit "8227l".
Did you solve this problem?

How to control volume with gestures on Joying Head Unit?

Title, I'm wondering if there's a way to control volume on a joying unit that's all screen with gestures. I've used apps like car launcher or AGAMA, but the volume keeps shooting back up after I turn it down, since it seems to be controlling volume separately from the system. Any help?
Hi! I have the same problem! No solution? Thanks for the reply.

Chinese head unit change functionality of head unit power button.

Hi. New to XDA forums.
I have two Chinese head units, one with the touch buttons to the left and the other with physical buttons below display. On both units the Power button only mutes the volume. I want to be able to have this power button mute the volume PLUS dim or turn off the display. Is there any way to do this? Is this an actual feature of any of the android head units?
Thanks.
