I bought a korean version lg g6 in Bangladesh. When i bought it the android version was oreo. I look after google to disable roaming dual clock in lock screen an succeed. Using this method-
To remove the lockscreen roaming dual-clock on the LG-F700S, follow the following steps:
Download QuickShortcutMaker
Search under ACTIVITIES the keyword "KT"
Click open 'Roaming' and then click on 'Roaming KT Roaming Test'
Create shortcut and open the shortcut
Check 'RAD TEST'
Turn off WiFi while keeping Data on, check the mobile signal strength icon now appears with a letter 'R'
Go Settings - Date & Time
The originally grey-out 'Roaming dual clock' item now becomes black and clickable.
Click to Disable the roaming dual clock.
Uncheck 'RAD TEST'
Turn on the Airplane mode, then off again to remove the 'R' status.
Now the phone works like before with the lockscreen showing only one clock.
Now my problem is i updated my handset to android 9 pie then tried the same method to disable dual clock but failed. Bcoz i cant open "RAD TEST" page.

Hello, I have CM9 on a Defy MB525, I originally had the default lock screen (the circle with the unlock feature to the right, and where you can add more apps) but I was checking VPN options and it asked me to enter a unlock pattern, right after that everytime I try to unlock the phone the circle does not appear, but the pattern lock instead, I'd like to go back to the previous one, but I checked the options and don't know how to put it again, please help me out, thank you!
This is what I want to have again:

Settings > security > Lock Screen > Screen Lock > (then select slide)
Now the pattern lock is GONE
Well, it should be?
Hi all~
I was using Allwinner A10 tablet before + custom rom and the ROM offer few handy things:
1) On the notification bar of wifi, I can immediately turn on or off the wifi instead of requiring to jump to SETTING
2) Want to add bluetooth notification bar as well
3) Long press power button can select reboot or screen capture as well
4) anyway I can add file association to .pdb => iSilo? By now ES explorer knows .pdb is ebooks but when I click it, it will said no program can open it...
Thanks a lot!

For stock? You could use extended controls, Widgetsoid, or notification toggles. (Apps in tve play store) As for the file part I have no clue.
Sent From My Toro+ via White Tapatalk
Most of those are built into Cyanogenmod
You can add notification toggles to the stock ROM with widgetsoid; this video shows how to do it:
http://youtu.be/_GCiEqB5How?t=5m17s
so there is no way to add that button on the built in notification bar? must need a 3rd party widget? ('cause I changed to use tablet UI by altering the lcd.density so normal widget looks odd~ )
Thanks a lot!~
This is a guide for people who are obsessed with the NFC icon
Some firmware customizations have the NFC icon enabled, others have it disabled. Please note that NFC will work anyway, no matter if the icon is enabled or disabled.
Requirements:
Rooted Xperia Z with locked bootloader:
- For firmware versions 10.1.A.1.350 and 10.1.A.1.434, use goroh_kun root exploit
- For firmware versions 10.1.1.A.253, 10.1.1.A.307 and 10.3.A.0.423, use perf_event root exploit
Build Prop Editor
Start BuildProp Editor.
When a Superuser request pops up, tap 'Grant' or 'Allow'.

}
At the first start, a backup of 'build.prop' will be created automatically, which can be restored in case of any problems.
Scroll down to 'ro.nfc.icon.enable' and tap it.
Tap true/false under 'default values'. Select 'true' if you want to enable the NFC logo, select 'false' if you want to disable the NFC logo.
Tap 'Save'
When asked to reboot, tap 'Yes'.
Or the text editor of your File Explorer should be enough. Another link for the guide too.

I know, but I use Build Prop Editor in my guide because it's more noob-friendly
Also less chance to mess up your build.prop.
Hi guys, I have a problem. I had enabled advanced calling under verizon account long time ago, and it's still enabled, but the option to enable it under phone settings is missing.
So I disabled the verizon advanced calling feature and reenabled it to see if the option would pop up on my mxpe.
It doesn't.
Any suggestions?

You appear to be running a custom ROM, so I am not sure, but on stock you need to dial *#*#4636#*#* and turn on VOLTE provisioned flag under Phone information. Then Enhanced 4G LTE Mode should show up in your Cellular Networks menu.
Touching that option does nothing.
I'm on stock Feb 1 2015. Rooted.
Once it is enabled it should say "TURN OFF VOLTE PROVISIONED FLAG". Then the Enhanced 4G LTE option should be available under Cellular networks. That is strange, it should appear regardless of support by your carrier. If you enable it and the carrier doesn't support it, it should simply disappear again once a call is placed.
This is how it should look:

Yup nothing happens when pressed. It doesn't show to turn off after pressed. I made a video but decided not to post it as the phone info shows my phone number.
Had a slip up on the version. Its Nov 1st 2015.
I disabled radio for 15 seconds and enabled and waited 15 seconds. Still wont turn on :/. It was a suggestion by others for the same problem but it doesnt fix it.
I installed trupurexxm. All is well. Dunno what borked the other ROM I was using. It was stock odexed or deodexed cannot recall.
I have a Nokia 6.1 Plus with Android 9.0, October security patch.
I am not able to turn off ambient display. It is set to always on and there is no option to disable it.

I have once faced this trouble, the only way is to factory reset/wipe and set as new phone again. I did it through both the safe mode and recovery mode. Now all work flawlessly on Pie with November patch.
I actually figured it out. The setting is there inside the system UI tuner.

The system ui tuner is hidden by default, how did you invoke it?
If you're using Nova launcher, go to widgets.
There will be an option to add an activity as a widget. On selecting, it will show a list of activities. In that go to System UI > System UI Demo Mode.
It's mostly useless now. I was just checking it earlier. Maybe I had accidentally toggled the ambient display setting.
