Hi,
I have the chance to have one Realme X2 Pro in my hands. So here is a little feedback
About performance : the fluidity is pretty insane. Thanks to the 12Gb RAM I didn't notice any lag during use. The Antutu Benchmark score is also insane and one of the best.
Color OS is pretty cool, not as good as Android stock but the traductions (in french) are good. The battery allow me to last 2 days with a intensive usage (Snapchat, gaming, sms, spotify etc..)
If you have any questions, do not hesitate I'll try to answer them

Great!
If you have USB-C to HDMI/DP cable, please test if X2 Pro can output video via the cable

Hi,
Unfortunatly, I didn't have.. But I've seen in the settings a DLNA and a Screencast options, so maybe it's possible to stream via those options
Where did you buy it from?
@nathan30 Is there a screen recorder with audio recording in ColorOS like in Oneplus phones?

From an adb shell, type:
getprop ro.build.ab_update
Or install an app called Treble check and it will tell you.

Hello Nathan, i'm a eventually futur french user, and thank you for your feedback and my question is : the USB C is otg?
Cool tu travailles pour quel site ? Anyway back to English, were you able to get some information and android 10 availability, security updates schedule (can we expect a monthly update?), for how long we will get update /upgrade (the usual 3 to 4 years?)...
Hardware wise it seems cool, on the software side it seems to be another story... And launching an android 9 phone in 2019 October /November seems weird and a bit outdated...
Merci

Thanks for your answers , I guess you will have to ask them as software is the major concern for people thinking about making the move to this relatively unknown brand (yeah I know that oneplus is family) .
Few other questions, India press (where it's already available) talks about bloatware being present, what type of extra software is aboard?
Also, I read your excellent article about screen refreshing rates issues (90 to 60 back and forth) about the oneplus 7, is the realme x2 pro having the same issue?
Merci et excellent dimanche !

I found that the boss of Realme said that they work on the specific version of ColorOS7 for Realme phone. No date for the moment
This is one of the coolest thing on the Realme, I didn't notice any bloatware. Excepted the default Google app (Vidéos, Photos, Duo etc..) but I was able to delete them all, except GMAIL.
For the screen refreshing dates issues, I didn't notice any lag as the OP7 for now

Speaker is pretty loud, not a clear sound but enough for Youtube and Netflix. About the camera, in day light is pretty good, the AI recognize quickly the scene. BY night, there is a little bit of noise when you zoom on the image, but the global picture is really nice with color very close to real color
hi, how is the aptic feedback (vibration), is like 'normal' phones or does it have a feedback aptic like the op7 pro?

Hi,
I didn't have the OP7 but I have the OP5 and the haptic of Realme X2 Pro is much powerful
Is it iphone like or just regular motor drive?
*edit: it seems the og message was not quoted. I meant the vibration motor, the haptic engine.

I agree Omni could have been a Univeral replacement but it never made it...
Yeah, too bad
But now hope HTC will do something!
If not I am seriously thinking on move to Tsosh K02....
There is no real device to upgrade. I have tried three devices, XDA Flame - very good, but without keyboard, Touch HD - nice display, but no power (Qualcomm), hard to control (no buttons, no dpad), no qwerty, Xperia X1 - nice, but to small and no power (Qualcomm).
Touch Pro 2 has not jack 3.5, has not flashlight for camera, has not so big display as Uni and has not so big keyboard as Uni . And yes, there is gps.
I think HTC Leo with hw qwerty could be a solution .
Yeah, perhaps the touch pro 3 that is a line with keyboard can be a good succesor (if HTC launches...)
If not tosh k02 looks promising
Please vote!
a friendly bump!
It has to be the nokia N900 for me - I use my uni as a portable Linux box with UMTS/GPRS always on internet access and i've been waiting 4 years for a another phone with good linux support, display res >= 640x480, qwerty keyboard and 3G/HSPA that still fits in my pocket (so no netbooks)

Ya i also thought but then will there be great rom cookers like we got here for HTC... probably not... so best option stick to HTC or lear how to cook yourself
and here is what could be another successor...
looks better than tosh KO2
Yes it looks much better, but what is it?
Brand?, mockup?
It´s not a question of learning to cook ROM´s, it´s the limitations of hardware on our beloved Uni´s
We have great Chefs here and I´m quite happy with their ROM´s

Well it's intel's first shot at the phone market ... finally intel comes into phone market... the specs hasn't been confirmed it says intel atom processor, sd slot along with 2 usb host. 47 buttoned keyboard, with tracker ball... well it's most likely be Rodhium 3 than uni-2...
18 cm * 5cm * 2 cm... mobile phone?
HTC HD2 !
Guys !
I am mesmerised by HTC HD2. I am finding it very difficult to resist. What is your advice ? How long should i wait before i get one ? Any changes expected in firmwares after 1rst release ?
Uni will continue to remain with me.
Leo is great but if no hardware keyboard is not an option for me
I would wait 6 months and sure HTC will launch Touch Pro 3!!
By now I can happily wait with a Touch Pro 2

no its 18 cm X 8 cm X 2 cm.... only keyboard is 5 cm
I have to say Dream Device Uni-2
Pre-order only at the moment but if it's anywhere near as good as the round K8 / K18 it will be worth it.
Slightly smaller screen but great looking build quality http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_263293.html
The smaller screen might help the 450mAh battery life, assuming the spec's are correct.
You can't trust these website, including Gearbest, inaccurate details, dodgy delivery. But that's what we pay for.
Very true
WOW I think this might be my new smartwatch! I like the silver version but it is not yet on presale. I think I will wait if it is available for sure and maybe buy in another store. I had my problems with gearbest in the past with a smartwatch lost on the way and it took a lot of time and help from paypal to get my refund at last.
But this watch looks really great and specs are ok. I'm really looking forward to this :fingers-crossed:
J'ai pris la noire. Reçu avec Gearbest le 29 décembre. Vraiment top. Installation de Maps, Spotify, Google traduction, ... Excellent. Par contre comment ajouter des montres ?
New Watch K8 mini
Hey, I got this watch are very satisfied. I installed two OTA update. They solved the problem appeared to K8 APN. APN can now add manually. Battery lasts about two days. Full load in 45 minutes. A good day. Please your opinion.
Thanks mate. Mine should arrive in a couple of days.
I bought one. It will take a while for it to arrive though. The question is :will K8 big model updates and fixes work in K8 mini smartwatch?

Most of the updates and fixes will have been implemented already when you get this watch.
The software will be the same but resolution will be slightly different.
I'm very interested to see if the TFT screen on the new mini will use less power than the OLED screen of the larger K8.

Me too. It is going to be my first smartwatch. Since lg urbane 2nd edition was cancelled I have decided to give cheap smartwatches a try. So I do not expect high performance, although I am curious about the device.
Would love to see an actual review on this, I have been eyeing for awhile.... Love the circuluar frame, and the smallness of it.

How much space does this watch ACTUALLY have?
It says on all the websites: RAM+ROM: 512MB (471.89MB available) + 4GB (3.59GB available)
But on the video:
https://youtu.be/SufIK4Rh_vs?t=4m12s
right at 4 minutes and 12 seconds in device memory it says "used: 1.21 gb. available: 106.95 mb"
So is this false advertising? 100 megs isnt much memory... maybe like 20 songs... no room for additional OTA apps.... Or did this guy in the video use up 1.2 gb before uploading the video?
It will have 1.3gb of storage space free. Same as the K8 regular version. I still want to pull the bigger one apart to see if I can get at the storage but I'm almost certain that it's soldered to the board.
How to change faces
Did you now if it's posible to add faces from a wear apk or other apk ?

Another question: the only difference is the screen?
I have an aging Samsung Galaxy Tab S and I've been looking for a replacement, but I'm having a LOT of trouble finding anything without fewer features. I got an Asus ZenPad 3s 10 yesterday and poor GPS, a lack of a vibration motor, and the small screen, 4:2 aspect ratio is prompting me to return it and look for something better. I thought I could settle on the Pixel C because it at least has a somewhat larger screen than most of the current model tablets, and it has a LITTLE wider of an aspect ratio, but then I find out that it lacks a vibration motor, which means I won't be able to get silent notifications, and it doesn't even have GPS!
Both of these are important features to me because I have bad eyesight. I need Haptic Feedback for the on-screen keyboard because it helps me type, and I tether my tablet to my phone for Google Maps/Waze to help my wife navigate.
I don't understand why Google's "Flagship" tablet would not only drop down to such a ridiculous aspect ratio, but also drop what seems to be basic functionality that ALL of the other Android devices have seen, from the T-Mobile G1 to the cheap $99 Black Friday tablets that my sister-in-law has bought for her kids.
It just doesn't have it. No need to ask why. Google is not going to respond to it. And most likely Pixel C is in his last days anyways.
but i do agree with you, Pixel C is a very nice tablet, but very poor features. no vibration, no NFC, no MicroSD, no SIM. It does have GPS i think

GPS wouldn't make sense in a tablet any way
The pixel c is still the best android tablet you can get
Vibration motor...not really needed you wont miss it for long
GPS....doesnt need it because theres no 3g/4g model so maps works fine over wifi
NFC.....again unless your planning on making a payment with your 10.2 inch tablet why would you need it
Ridiculous ratio?? Nothing ridiculous about it...nice landscape or portrait...everything displays and works normally
vibration would be nice when using on-screen keyboard, yeah i miss it
and about that gps missing:
oh well, guess not, don't know why it says GPS, GPS apps say there's no internal GPS, weird, would make a nice navigation for in the car

The lack of GPS was annoying because I got this tablet JUST to have in the car. So the choices were to get a Galaxy instead of keep the C and use an external BT GPS unit. Since Samsung is so horrid about updating its tablets (I already had one, the lack of updates on that one is why I was having to buy another one! I ended up buying a Dual XGPS150A from Amazon and hard-wiring it to my truck. Works perfect!
I tether mine to my phone and get location information that way. I use Google Maps on teh tablet while diving.

I had for a year or so. Ive been completely anti apple for a long time but got an ipad pro for work and i must say i love it....everything works better and its built for the bigger tablet size format. I still prefer android but unfortunately there isnt really premium android tablets being made now. The s3 seems good but overpriced for an older processer and samsung software with very little updates. I loved my pixel c but its over 2 years now and it is cumborsome so i sold it...but if you need an android tablet i would still recommend the pixel c over anything else

Finow Q1 Pro, it's a square watch available from Finow's store on Aliexpress at the moment, same spec by the looks of it as the Microwear H5, tempted to get one as I really liked the original Finow Q1

Yup, got mine the other day, so far so good.
The UI is really good, it even has a full 'stock' settings menu like a regular phone.
My only criticism so far would be that with stock launcher you cannot add Clock skins, however if it is a 'must' for some users then Eric's clock skin launcher on Play store works fine with it.
Only had it a couple of days so not had much of a chance to test it out much, but it seems the battery is holding up good so far.
All in all I would consider it a great purchase! :good:
Good to hear it's going well. Considering buying one for my son. He's 11 and needs a way to stay in touch with me. Don't really want him to have to carry a full sized phone around.
How's the build quality?
How small does the band go?
I've been reading about people having trouble with the magnetic charging system not working on various phones because of problems with sweat/oil getting on the contacts. Hopefully you don't run into that issue!
I can't find any reviews of the watch on YouTube. If you're quick you could be the first

No idea on the band frequency to be honest, and screen resolution 320?

Don't know if this helps or not?
screen resolution can be set on build. prop - it is currently set at 120
Thanks for your information, I have confirmed with Finow that this watch does not support B:850mhz.

hard to answer as people use their devices differently.
But I get 2 days on a full charge with light/normal use, however I work from home, so only have WiFi on airplane mode on as I don't need calls at home, general use is checking messages, social media, a few video's etc

Hi, I just received mine and am in mixed mood state.
The watch has improved compare to the original model except the screen (240x240) and thickness but the software seems unfinished.
Some bugs are really embarrassing and I hope we will get some updates :
- Sometimes Wifi disconnect and I must reboot my net box to get it work again ! It could be related to the "NVRAM WARNING" problem (Wifi connections list)
- Phone is working but I am unable to connect in 4G/3G (France) and to set any network parameters.

Hi , is there any app for running that measured heart rate and distance with good visuall on the screen ?
Google fit allways crashes , and i didn't find any good app with good visual ?
Does this phone have it?
If yes, is the support enabled by default? Or do we need to root and enable it later by editing the build.prop?
Can someone with this phone post a screenshot of this app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.weis.camera2probe
Hi awaaas,
Looking for this phone too? I have created the lounge at kaskus, you might want to check it out. Reminds me of old days.
Unfortunately, no C2A support yet, at least not in the demo unit.

Long time no see, bud... :highfive:
One of my relatives wants this phone, just want to make sure some of the phone's capabilities that reviewers often left out. For comparison, Redmi Note 5 Pro, the one that compared to this phone a lot, has Camera2 API support, but only if you edit the build.prop first (according to my friend that have it, I don't actually have that phone).
For me myself, I might will be still using my Mi 5s for foreseable future...

:highfive: Yeah, probably several years.
If me, it is me myself who are looking for this phone. RN5P still disabled the C2A, need (temporary) root to enable it. Same with this phone, if no C2A support out of box, at least we can enable it using the same method. But there is a rumour about major OTA update at 30 April. We expect to see a lot of improvement compared to the somewhat "beta" ROM from the media review unit. Let's hope to see the C2A has been enabled in this major update.

Haven't seen it anywhere yet. Only the 4K DCI/UHD and the 1080p has EIS already in the retail unit. The camera app seems will be updated tomorrow to support it. Hopefully, we can see the C2A support too in the next update.
Gcam will not work without camera api2 ! Let's wait and see...
Hope they will update to add support soon. Don't let the stock camera app be the limiting factor of image quality!
I hope someone comes with a GCam port for this phone. As far as what I tested, the phone's rear cam is quite good (except for very low light scenarios).
Also, the front cam desperately needs better balance in colors, dynamic range. Currently, selfie quality is quite decent, the colors are not accurate/natural even under good light (skin has a red tinge). And overall, brightness, noise level etc., could be tweaked a bit too.
Any suggestions for a different app that can bring out better photos out of the front cam??

Hey Aniket, thanks for the SS, can you install this Camera2 API Probe https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airbeat.device.inspector app, actually, in this app its gives the individual camera parameters for both front & back camera & earlier the app link that I gave, that shows the overall result so basically it was my bad so I'm requesting you to install this app instead now this time & ost the SS once again as I want to know all the parameters for both of the cam of this hone individually.
& is it possible to install Gcam in this hone without rooting or is there any tools available like this MI A1's AIO Toolhttps://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/how-to/tool-xiaomi-mi-a1-tool-drivers-unlock-t3742857 so that it can be rooted & unlocked automatically & that can be used by all the novice users, & whether all future OTA updates will be available if bootloader is unlocked & rooted & warranty will be voided or not
