Here's a compilation of contribution fixes/mods that I've founded for the Lineage 14.1 ford, austin thread.

REBORN BOOT.IMG FOR FORD FIRE TABLET
REBORN BOOT.IMG FOR AUSTIN FIRE TABLET
Long time boot time fix (Boot booster) [ford, austin]
SmartKernel
Android Go Style patcher
OMX (YouTube video playback fix)

FYI the OMX (YouTube video playback fix) fixed the HD10 14.1 suez youtube also, if you didn't know.
Any of these work on the Suez? Besides the OMX one?
This is a bit crazy. @Ziona they're just stock blobs from FireOS? (OMX Patch)
Thanks for the fixes btw.
Cheers!

The one here, i unzipped and pasted (and overwrote) in system/lib
It still fails to flash.
I found out why, had to mount system first in TWRP for some reason.
Videos still don't play, just audio.

That's just the libs to copy not flashable , I already place the OMX fix to flash in suez thread , plus my fix was just added to the suez los 14 ROM .
Accidentally Flashed over my Boot.IMG !
I accidentally (Stupidly) flashed over my Boot.IMG with this REBORN BOOT.IMG For Ford Tablet on my Amazon Fire 2015 tablet. I have happily been running Lineage on the tablet for about 6 months. It is now stuck on the Amazon boot logo, and I can not boot to recovery, or see the device on my PC. I just wondered if anyone knows of a quick fix for this problem. Thanks in advance for any advice.

How have you tried to boot into recovery? Holding power and volume down from a power off state?

Is this not exactly what I´m supposed to do? Flash this REBORN BOOT.IMG over the boot.img? Maybe it would be helpful if op could say a few words to each fix, what it is good for and how to install it?
headphone jack
I have a problem since i unlocked the bootloader and then installed Lineage OS, my headphone jack stopped working.
When i had the stock rom it worked perfectly. I since tried to fix the problem with some software (to force switch to headphone mode, etc) or going back to stock rom wich i did, but it didn't work.
Is there a fix to this problem? or its some hardware thing that has been damaged?
Its weird because it was working perfectly until the unlock/flash. Also SD slot didnt work also but now i see there is a fix.
Anyway, thanks if you can help me. My device is Amazon Fire 7

@Ziona
First thing is that I am not sure if the reborn boot.img is even needed, so that's one thing. If it is needed, do you know if there is a way to apply both the reborn boot.img and the microsd card fix boot.img together to a single image if that makes sense?
I am under the impression that if I flash one of the 2 boot.img files above then flash the other one, the first one I flashed will be overwritten, thus undoing the changes in that file. Is it possible for you to combine the reborn image with the sd card fix image?
If you could help me figure out these details I would gladly appreciate it. Thanks in advance, really appreciate the work you are doing for the Ford, Austin etc...

Hi folks,
It seems that a dev from the Oneplus forum, PMehra, managed to get OOS 3.1.0 working on our beloved OPO
He also made a OPX H2OS v2 port, though the official one is out.
Actually there are two OOS 3 ports that was made by two different dev (the other one is on Oneplus chinese forum) at the same time (almost) !
These are ports from the OPX 3.1.0 update dated of 08/18.
I've only tested the PMehra OOS 3 port.
What's working :
Almost everything is working, including NFC
Known bugs :
Mobile network take little bit more time (actually, it's insignificant), switch flight mode on & off after boot. Expected to improve in next update.
Longpress actions doesn't work on any button. Expected to be fixed in next update.
When the software buttons are turned on, the hardware buttons stay active and can also be used. So stay with HW buttons for now.
You can't change priority/no notifications due to there being no alert slider.
Download app fc
Storage->explore->doesnt do anything
Storage->other-> settings fcs
Changelogs :
Soon
How to flash :
Reboot to recovery
Make a nandroid backup
Wipe cache/dalvik/data/system partitions
Flash the zip
Reboot and enjoy !
If you want to install another rom after this one, you have to flash a marshmallow modem from this thread before, or you'll be stuck at boot logo.
Gapps are included into the rom.
Downloads :
Mega folder with full rom and OTA.
Full rom on Google drive.
Don't worry if winrar say that the .zip is corrupt, it work anyway.
Root :
Flash these two .zip in this order :
Magisk V6
Magisk Super Su 2.76
Custom Kernels :
You can use a H2OS or OPX kernel on this rom, though no OPX kernel has been updated to OOS 3 yet because Oneplus didn't release any sources, as the original update isn't official, but just a community build.
Quick review :
Use it for few hours now, and everything work well, it's smooth like butter
The camera app is the stock OOSone, and it don't support 4K recording, but the manual mode work well, and the "HQ" mode delivers nice shots.
Battery is good : about 4-5 hours SOT on average.
There is no slow charging issue.
Here a video of the installation and quick review of the rom thanks to @acervenky :

Big thanks to @pradeepsmehra who made the port, thanks to him :good:

Well a lot of you might accuse me of living in a cave but will still go ahead and ask my question
Apart from the camera quality what are the other benefits of using this ROM over say a cm or other stock roms? I am currently on hydrogen ROM purely for the sake of trying a new look.

Hardware buttons buggy
There's a few bugs with the hardware buttons that I've come across. Firstly being that no long press/double tap gestures work, and secondly when the software buttons are turned on the hardware buttons stay active and can also be used. While they're only minor bugs, they can be a bit annoying to deal with
---------- Post added at 01:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:17 PM ----------
Also, another bug is that you can't change priority/no notifications due to there being no alert slider. Will edit this post if I find any other bugs.

Hello there!
Finally there's a possibility for the eye-popping MIUI for Moto G 2015-osprey
So before I do any porting project, I want some testers. As, I don't own the Moto G 2015, so testers are important!
Who are willing to test MIUI Lollipop for your device!
WHO are willing to soft-brick their phone (it may happen, but you can fix it bruh!)?
Mandatory for testing:
the OSPREY MOTO G 2015 (duh.)
Computer/ External SD card to possibly backup stuff and to be on the safer side
A Human brain (please, no robots testing )
[*]Mandatory[/LIST]
So Testers time to download rom and test if it boots
share screenshots here
Here is the download link of miui 7 -5.1.1-Osprey
Link:- http://www.mediafire.com/file/bcblb5xddscxzm1/miui7_osprey_6.8.18_innfinite4evr_5.1.zip
Instructions:-
1) Download rom and boot into twrp recovery
2) Wipe system,data,cache,dalvik-cache
3) Select miui rom from storage and swipe to install
4) Have patience while flashing its pretty slow in twrp
5) Wait atleast 20min on mi logo and check if rom boots !
Thanks!
Why can't we use MM instead of Lollipop?

Yes magisk is in the installer but to get modules working to you have to flash what I mentioned

Installed this yesterday, pretty happy with the premise and experience so far. I just want custom stock rom, slightly debloated and latest updates. Battery is already better than the previous Oreo build I tried. Only really lose gcam, differences in Oreo don't really seem that great.
Is this the best close to stock option out there? Was surprised no developer thread.

You're probably failing safety net. Get a safety net checker and see what the result is. You'd probably have to use magisk and magisk hide to see it. Other option is to just download the apk from apkmirror and install manually.
Running a custom kernel working out good for anyone?

How difficult would it be to create a debloated version of NPNS25.137-93-10? That is the version on my phone (RETUS) and I love it overall, but can't stand the bloat. I have Froze those apps that I don't need or use but it would be nice to remove them. I don't care for most of the apps that supposedly remove system apps for you because they are usually full of ads and often screw things up for me. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to debloat it?

My G6 Play (JETER-SPRINT), just recently had it's screen die. I replaced it with an E5 Play, because it was cheaper. I would love to get another G6, but unfortunately my lack of money does prevent me from doing so. A few questions:
A) Did you unlock your bootloader?
B) Do you have TWRP installed?
C) Have you disabled DM Verity
If you answered no to A, that's your problem.

so i got it running the problem was dm verity, i followed the steps on the website and it didn't work the 1st time so i reformatted all the partitions with TWRP and used adb fastboot to install the stock ROM and to my surprise it worked. since the TWRP recovery was replaced with the stock one i reinstalled TWRP and booted onto recovery and installed the DM verity on the stock rom and tried AOSP gsi and it booted up perfectly and i installed the android GO gapps and its faster than a dream. i was having a problem with audio so i tried installing V4A and it fixed all the audio problems except the earpiece when making calls.
I would like to contribute to this thread because the moto g6 play needs more attention, so could the readers of this thread send me roms you would like me to test.
Thank you soooo much her0.

No. He's thanking me for helping him with his problem. Secondly, I added the twrp recommendation today (or yesterday), and I was more or less waiting for you to post your thread in the right forum.

Thanks also this link should take u to the op of my guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/g6...eter-twrp-decrypt-guide-t3886165/post78585977
so as i get up to 10 posts, i want to create a thread for people with this phone can test out all the gsi roms and have so we can add to this list, could you help me out my m8 her0?!
A couple solutions for problems I ran into.
No Play Protect Certification when using Gapps:
This one is very easy to solve. First, install your GSI of choice, but do not install Gapps. Install Magisk as well. Then you want to boot, and go straight to Magisk and install the MagiskHide Props module. Then go to https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2239421 download Osmosis Busybox and install through Magisk. Reboot and download your favorite Terminal Emulator on APKPure. Install it and open, type "props" without the quotes and press 1 to edit your fingerprint, follow the instructions and set it to the Moto G6 Play but don't reboot when asked. When at the main menu again, Press 2 and then choose the first option and enable it, this time reboot when asked. Load into TWRP and install Gapps, no need to clear cache or anything.
Audio is choppy:
Simply enable the equalizer.
i tried installing descendant and it booted as if i had lost my IMEIs and didn't recognize the SIMs. i restores my stock backup and the IMEIs are back. what did i do wrong?
the steps i took:
wipe data
flash descendant system image
disable dm-verity
flash magisk and booted

I usually wipe everything, flash the gsi, resize the system partition, flash opengapps mini, flash magisk, flash DM variety/force encrypt Disabler.
Anyone willing to try the 10 Q GSI.
I'll probably try on the weekend.
I'm pretty sure we will have to flash the mokee vendor like P GSIs
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-q-gsi-project-treble/
I used to have to download this rom. Boot it, then jump to the pie GSI. Things probably haven't changed.
https://download.mokeedev.com/?device=dumpling
Edit; 1 person I have read, has tried. ?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...sion-guide-oneplus-5-5t-t3776358/post79254117
Edit: semi q GSI is out
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...-android-p-developer-preview-t3816659/page185
Erfan made "A-Only" Q-GSI.
but we may have to wait Q-compatible vendor for our 5T.
I have tried Erfan made "A-Only" Q-GSI with latest open beta and stable OOS but first time booting and second boot struck on boot animation
With below vendor booted and working successfully
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397889453
Bugs: Incoming call and Bluetooth media audio

1. Install Mokee 9.0 nightly, GApps and no verity. Boot it and go through the setups.
2. Go back to recovery. Factory reset wipe and then install Q GSI img into system partition
3. Flash permissiver_v4.zip and fixzygote.zip and restart (flashing fixzygote_v2.zip makes my phone bootloop)
Currently I revert back to Mokee. The Unknown listed on About Phone prevent me using the Android Q GSI right now. But i saw someone on the Q GSI telegram channel says the latest build fix the Unknown. I haven't tried it probably will try next week.

Don't know what to help you man, that's the step i used and it works for me. I'm not using Android Q right now
but try use Colt os as vendor flash gapps and no verity(not sure if this help but i use xXx No Verity Treble 4.0.zip) go through setups after that reboot to recovery and this time don't factory reset.
Just flash the Pixel-Aonly GSI img to system partition also flash permissiver_v4 and fixzygote_v2
this steps i found in erfan Q GSI Telegram channel. Join it and if you have problem ask there. Here is the link: https://t.me/androidqgsi

well i said the fixzygote_v2.zip bootloop my phone not fixzygote.zip. There are two version. But try the v2 on the latest q gsi. I don't think it will bootloop. Take a backup before trying it.
So now that Q is official, the GSI build should be way more stable.....correct? I've not used a treble/GSI build before but the known issues listed here seem pretty minimal......
