We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz, based on Android 10.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.
Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

Wow. Paranoid Android. Thanks for making this dev. Hats off for doing this so early!
There is a bug with bluetooth audio. Bluetooth connects but audio doesn't play the sound, still comes out of the phone speaker no matter what you do
This was tested coming to and from work so I couldn't get a logcat as I was driving
Just to bump the thread, this ROM was updated yesterday.

Yes. Same error. Didn't play.
When i try to install the gapps it says "your ROM has no valid build.prop or equivalent" and exits with error code 25.
I have tried following the instructions exactly as well as instructions from some other ROMs but it never works. Orangefox prints out no rom in the output.

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features: (I will mention only that which does not take into CyanogenMod)
Listview animation
Interpolation anmação listview
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Manager for Google services, so no need to use a large gapps, you can only download necessary at MokeeCenter
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different CyanogenMod, thus bringing a beautiful charm to rom
bootianimation own
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add speed data network
Settings for navigation bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others.

What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.
Changelog:

Yes I am using this ROM. This ROM is better than other ROMs namely AOSP, CM 14.1, Beanstalk 7.1. It is more stable and can be confidently used as a daily driver. This post is in reference to post #3.

I've just instaled the ROM, and the Radio FM doesn't work. With MIUI roms, it doesn't happen. Anyone can help me?

FM radio works fine with me(Mi 3) on all custom ROMs that I have tried and it is working well on Mokee 7.1 too.
This is my favourite rom. I have used 5.1, 6.0.1 and now 7.1 version. It's stable, no random reboots like most the other 7.1 roms. Camera works fine and records in 4K UHD. Now i am testing battery life but its definitely good. And hell yea Mokee has OTA updates which is great.

I agree
Rom have mod or no? Because i very like mokee 4.2 (i tested on htc hd2) have many mod. But when update to 5.1 (mi3) only have lift view and network trafic. When update to 6.0 only have network trafic.

How to install google assistant Xiaomi Mi 4 rom Mokee 7.1 ... ??
Sent from my MI 4LTE using Tapatalk
very very same cm14.1 only add wallpaper, mokee center, net work trafix, pin app, no have floa mode, lift view,...
Fast ROM, stable, but bigger battery life drain in standby than MIUI, 15%-20% in a night. In MIUI I have 1-3%. Also, CPU freq ramps up and down like crazy for no reason.
Inbuilt Kernel should be worked on a little. Starts with Performance governor.
Also battery icon cant be changed to anything it stay portrait.

every time you try to mod the /system partition ota updates will fail.
this is why systemless xposed/root/viper4android/... exists
I installed this ROM using official recovery (a mistake on my part not to read the OP completely). Now I can't boot into recovery.
Please, can someone point me to the correct custom recovery link.
Also do I need to flash 3.5.5 firmware? I am currently on 3.2.7.

Flash Magisk after 1st boot or it breaks app installation. You can try ROM's native root manager or SuperSU also.

Sweet! Just a question because I'm new to custom ROMs, what does unofficial mean in this context? And does this ROM pass safetynet by default (just curious)?

Unofficial is developed by anyone, any person who's willing to develop/code/compile.
seems like the home button still won't work w/ synaptic's digitizer...

As far as I know...
Official ROMs come from a group of people who have worked on the development of a ROM in their own way. They have certain guidelines to follow, they make a brand out of their development. Like lineage OS has developed a ROM with not much of customization options available in it. Nitrogen OS guys have decided to develop a feature rich ROM.
Unofficial ROM could come from people like Shivam or any individual who works on or maintain a ROM in whatever way he/she wants. Right now there is no official maintainer available in the group who created Pixel Experience ROM. So Shivam is taking an initiative to take their source and work on the changes to make it run on Mi3/Mi4.

It would be so nice to see your kernels for Miu and Oreo. Unfortunately there is no alternative kernel for Cancro. (Updated)

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.0 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Why to release this build when there is already several ports ?
My aim through this one is to provide an up to date ROM (most of them aren't updated for a long time) and to provide the official status that we all are wanting for LineageOS 15.1.

Thank you for supporting cancro.... ?
This is a very good rom for my mi3, but when I plug in a headset nothing happens, and the phone does not seem to recognize it, and with xiaomi original rom does.

great work! thank you so much!!
Radio isn't working
I would like to flash this ROM and I am also wandering if it has screenshot quicktile and long screenshot function.
It would be great if it can unlock automatically after passing Google's faceunlock.
Sent from my cancro using XDA Labs
Is there any Xiaomi gallery port for custom roms?
couldn't start media recorder and automatically enlarge the background image

We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz based on Android 10.

It's official build so for screenshots and features just refer to paranoid Android official website https://paranoidandroid.co/
In my opinion paranoid Android is kinda like lineage but built with CAF sources instead of aosp sources
How do I migrate from MIUI 12? Do I just factory reset and flash or do I need to format my storage entirely?

Is it safe to remove gapps? And if yes, whats the best way to do it?
It's cool that you included DT2S and DT2W. Fingerprint scanning still blinks the screen. I hope it can be good as stock someday. One bug I encountered is OTG. When I insert mine it restarts automatically. Tried 3x but it always does that. The sound volume is a bit lower compared to stock. Overall this ROM didn't disappoint. It's worth the wait.
Flashed from Miui.... Didn't boot...... Stuck at animation, Flashed stock rom and then flashed rom.... Same thing... Both cases with their respective Data Wipe

The only option i can think of is deleting manually, which is not safe.

I'll look into that.
Consider donating as it would be easier to fix up bugs with the device.

If you installed SHRP after flashing rom zip, that could be the issue.

I somehow messed up my installation and ended formatting again my device. After the setup, I tried again my OTG and it now works. Really weird. But yes, I'll definitely consider donating so you can fix your Mi A3.

Nice, Thank you!
How hard is it and how much time would it take to degoogle the ROM and build it without gapps?

non-gapps build, even if anyone compiles, would'nt be official. And would certainly miss out some official features like face unlock, app lock etc
