MoKee OpenSource is based on the Cyanogenmod. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.

What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)

HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

Installation mode :
To install the clean rom:
Download the rom
enter the recovery
make all wipes (expect internal storage)
choose zip from SD and install
you can use a gapps any of its taste since it is for android 7.0.x
or you can go MokeeCenter after starting rom, there you can download the small gapps integrated into the system and have a lighter and clean rom.
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional, I do not)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go to install update
let install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.

Exactly. Its a 1st nightly so some features are missing.

Does Google camera work with this ROM? I am on CM 14.1 Nightly know, and have crashing issues with the camera software.

The op says gapps 7.0. I think it's a typo. We will need to flash 7.1 gapps right?

every time you try to mod the /system partition ota updates will fail.
this is why systemless xposed/root/viper4android/... exists

I installed this ROM using official recovery (a mistake on my part not to read the OP completely). Now I can't boot into recovery.
Please, can someone point me to the correct custom recovery link.
Also do I need to flash 3.5.5 firmware? I am currently on 3.2.7.

OK. The question is how long does the installation / configuration of the system last after manipulations in twrp? (P2c72)
After resetting the partition, the default date is formatted as ext4, and f2fs is needed, which can be done in manual mode

Introduction
Started by a group of Chinese developers during the Jellybean days, Mokee ROM was China's first steps into the open source world of Android.
Believed to be less in terms of features and customisations by many Android users, the Mokee Open Source developers have worked off their ass in getting to you some cool kickass features, most of which are exclusive to Mokee only (Aegis - The Power Saving Tool, Zeus Clock Widget etc.) .Throughout the course of it's existence, it has to be noted that Mokee has been a really very underestimated ROM.​

how is 2 hours SOT good....! i mean how nougat roms give almost 4hrs

I have video recording issues. Can't record videos. Only sound an frozen screen...

Mokee ROM is nice, smooth and fast.. but when i flash gapps along with ROM after booting setup is crashing , also gapps flashes after reboot play Services stops working... anyone help me out which gapps should i use???

halogenOS Checklist
Although no data should be lost or damaged by the flashing process,
we advise you to follow the following steps if you are coming from another rom:
Please take a full nandroid backup!
Please copy your back up to an external device.
Backing up your Internal Storage is also recommended.
When completed, please clean flash the build!
Although you usually can dirty flash halogenOS over other ROMs, considering the other
ROM has the same Android version, it is not guaranteed. In case of serious
crashes please do a clean flash.
If you get app crashes after dirty flashing over XOS 6 or another ROM, please just
clear the app data of those apps, and it should work fine then.

What is XOS?
halogenOS, also known as XOS is a new Android ROM which ships with the global aim to
become a modular ROM which keeps as high as potentially possible operating

How to update the ROM:
Download the latest zip
Reboot into TWRP (Please use official TWRP)
Do not wipe anything
Flash the ROM
Optional : Flash GApps and/or SuperSU
Reboot
You don't need to wipe Cache/Dalvik.
You don't need to flash gapps again. There is some magic going on which keeps your GApps. Just make sure that you don't wipe system before flashing.
You don't need more than 5 minutes.

Buggs i found:
Can't enable Google's assistant.
Home button long press action not working.
And poor RAM management. Can't open a single app over another app.Even Music app stopping when another app is opened..
Snap cam will be better if it is included..
Sometimes flashlight not working.
Camera force stopping after flashing any modes like magisk.
Bt it have good battery backup and other wise its a stable ROM.

*Everything working fine and smooth.
*Snap cam working good
*But home button action still not working
*Big thing is that it lost the battery backup like in last build.
*Slow charging, fast draining. This is the issue while comparing to older build
*And too much heating too.

Is there any way to get FM-Radio in this rom

We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz, based on Android 10.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.
Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.​

Instructions for installation
Install twrp recovery from here.
For Prebuilt Gapps Version
1. Remove lockscreen pattern/pin
2. Flash latest Android 10 stock rom, flash twrp zip, reboot recovery
3. Flash latest Android 10 stock rom, flash twrp zip, reboot recovery (now you have latest unmodified stock vendor in both slots)
4. Flash rom, twrp installer (NO NEED TO FLASH GAPPS BECAUSE ITS INBUILT )
5. Reboot into system
Note:
If you face boot loop issue kindly reboot to recovery format data and again reboot to system.

There is a bug with bluetooth audio. Bluetooth connects but audio doesn't play the sound, still comes out of the phone speaker no matter what you do
This was tested coming to and from work so I couldn't get a logcat as I was driving

Just to bump the thread, this ROM was updated yesterday.

Yes. Same error. Didn't play.

When i try to install the gapps it says "your ROM has no valid build.prop or equivalent" and exits with error code 25.
I have tried following the instructions exactly as well as instructions from some other ROMs but it never works. Orangefox prints out no rom in the output.

After you flash ROM reboot recovery and flash gapps. Simple as that

Is there any plan for stable rom?

Iirc the dev said, that he won't update pa but will work on a reloaded caf build
