Hi,
I just bought a tablet Samsung Galaxy A SM-T510 and when I run it, Android ask the last Google Account that was in it.
I searched a lot in this forum but I'm not sure to understand all the way to remove this verification.
I'm new here... Somebody could explain me the way to remove it ?
It's impossible to run Android without this email. I do not have access to the system configuration.
When I look for the Android Recovery, my version is T510XXU1ASEF XEF. I already tried to install a new firmware (I succeded and I was thinking it would be enough but it wasn't).
Big thank you for your help.
Search for SM-T510 FRP lock.

You must be doing something wrong. That's is the solution that works and it is the ONLY solution. If you can't get it to work, you got a brick.
edit: Make sure you have the combo files for the T510 and not some other model.

Ok...
My way :
- Recovery mode
- Wipe data/factory reset. Same for cache
- Reboot to BootLoader
- Launch Odin V3.13.1 like administrator
- Connect the tablet to PC
- Put the combination file into AP... Look that "Auto Reboot" and "F Reset Time" is checked.
- "Start".
It's good until there ?
Ty for your answer.

You have to be in "Download" mode to use Odin. And there are two steps in using the two combo files. I don't you recall the exact steps but they are in the instructions.

When I choose the option "Reboot to bootloader", I've a blue screen with "Downloading". This is not this way ?
When I connect the tablet to PC, Odin recognize it.

My tablet is a T580 and the download screen is green. But if Odin show "added" when you plug it into the PC, then it should work. You still have to proceed with the combo files as instructed.

You can't just use Odin on the combo file. That file must first be extracted to find the TWO files needed for Odin. Then you use Odin on one file first and then let the tablet reboot. Then go back into download and use Odin for the other file. I don't recall which file goes first but the instruction should be in the post where you found the file you downloaded.

You don't. md5 files are what you use in Odin. Again, not owning a T510, I don't know the exact process for it. For the T580, it is a two stage process. Maybe for the T510, you just use Odin on the one md5 file you extracted. Any further assistance will have to come from someone who has done it on the T510.
edit: BTW, you probably shouldn't check "re-partition" unless you are flashing a PIT file.

Ty for you help.
It's probably different between those two model.
I tried all way to flash correctly, I tried to download again other version of "combination file" to turn fail in success, but nothing works.
I searched for hours how to FRP unlock... Nobody have idea about my problem ?
When I'm in Downloading mode, I can see in the top left :
ODIN MODE
DOWNLOAD SPEED : FAST
PRODUCT NAME : SM-T510
CURRENT BINARY : Samsung Official
KG STATE : Prenormal
FRP LOCK : ON
OEM LOCK : ON(L)
Secure Download : Enabled
CCIC = S2MM005 hw: 7 boot: 8 main4a
CARRIER_ID:
WARRANTY VOID: 0 (0x0000)
RP SWREV B: 1 K: 1 S: 1
DID = 44d7f75a222c
Do I have to change something there or this is correct ?
For information, I can't change OEM cuzz I don't have access to system.
Yes, do not check the re partition. You are not partitioning the device. Flashing a combination file is the same on both the T580 and the T510. However, you should have 4 files to flash not just one. You should have a BL, AP and the CSC with the HOME CSC files. Put each one in their respective places. All files being used by Odin3 must be in "tar.md5" form. You do not have to plug in the USB cord to get the device into Download mode but you have to plug it in to flash it. You will get a blue connected section when you do.
Then apparently you are trying to get past the FRP lock. There are a variety of methods to remove the Google Account FRP lock on You Tube but this is the one you probably are looking for.

I contacted Samsung which wouldn't help because I bought mine from EBay. Unaurthorized reseller was what I was told and they couldn't help me. So I scoured through You Tube videos and found nothing that will help unless the device had a SIM card which it doesn't. Sooner or later someone will get past this FRP account lock and we can use our tablets. In the meantime I'll experiment with it.

I just received my SM-T720 back from Samsung and I purchased on eBay. Had to have eBay (not the seller) send me a proof of purchase email to do it, but it was accepted. Probably depends on how helpful the person who handles your call wants to be. If I were you, I'd contact eBay and get a proof of purchase from them, and then try Samsung again.:fingers-crossed:
edit: As I recall, I did have to get fairly persistent before the rep agreed to help.:crying:

i have been searching for 2 days for the original bell galaxy s jh2 firmware so i can flash my phone back to 100% stock and exchange it for a new one (mine wont boot into recovery with the 3 button combo).
i am looking for the bell version, including all of the pre-installed bell crapware, etc. can anyone provide a link to either an update.zip file or the files needed for odin? i was trying to un-root my jh2 software yesterday morning and couldnt do it, so after a bunch of flashing, and two near brickings i am now on jm6 firmware but now kies wont connect to my phone. all of the drivers are there, and i have uninstalled and reinstalled kies already but my phone will no longer connect.
i downloaded the jh2 files from http://www.samsungflash.com/wiki/I9000 and tried to flash with odin but it left my phone in a bricked state. the files provided were only the pit and pda file and the flash just wouldnt work. i have only been successful with odin when using separate pda, modem, and csc files. any help would be appreciated
When you turn on your phone what does it do exactly? Does it boot into the OS, or just stay on the Samsung screen?
Have you tried using the Bell firmware (JH2) found here. That is the provider file. So if you can find the PDA and PHONE file you like then that file should return it to stock.
Post back with results.

my phone boots up fine, it was completely screwed up yesterday but i actually ended up flashing to the software you linked to. that software doesnt have any of the bell stuff in it.
thanks for trying, though
edit
i forgot to type in the code at the end of those instructions and it hard reset my phone but now the bell stuff shows up. thanks! the only problem is that the software doesnt show up as jh2, but the apps are there. one step closer
If you are to return it to bell in this state, would they really look to see what firmware was flashed to it. Especially if you are returning it because of the 3 button problem? As long as it boots up and they can see you have not broken it, this should be sufficient.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I think this is the ideal spot to put this question. My SGS I9000M is stuck on the boot screen so this will be my first try with ODIN.
I have installed ODIN 4.03, and I have downloaded the above file and unzipped it with 7ZIP. It contained one .tar file. I put my I9000M into downloading mode, launched ODIN and plugged in the phone. It was detected and says com port mapping 1 (COM5) on ODIN. I ticked the One Package option box and selected the .tar in the One Package address box. Already selected were Reboot, Protect OPS and Reset Time (300 ms). I clicked start and a popup said "Check Image Files!!". I clicked okay. The log box to the left indicates "Download Start..." but nothing appears to be happening, and the start button is available to be pressed again.
Did I miss something?
Thanks!
_____________
UPDATE: Okay, Looks like you need ODIN 3, version 1.0, as far as I can tell, so I have installed that, put phone in download mode, plugged it in and ODIN detects is (0(COM5)) There is no One Package option so I went with PDA.
The following appears in the log window:

<ID:0/005> Odin v.3 engine (ID:5)..
<ID:0/005> File analysis..
<ID:0/005> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/005> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/005> dbdata.rfs
The phone screen went blank and is non responsive. There is no apparant change in ODIN. I'll let it sit for a while unless someone can redirect me on this?
Thanks.

I had black screen after s logo boot.
So I used Odin 7 new to re-flash jk3 the bell version. And when it booted up first time I get mount error and vol + home and power does not work only download mode works. I flash like 15 times same ****. Even used different check marks repartition and boot loader all did not held any results.
Now that I sent it back to bell, I wonder if I had used Oden 1.3 instead of Oden 1.7 if that would have helped at all
I think it's the defective internal sd memory, as my phone is bell phone and I keep reading problems with the internal sd memory.
Do you think it could have been revived or am I right it is defective memory.
So I sent it back
I am sorry if this has been asked and answered, I've been searching the forum board for 4.5 hours trying to find the answer or some sort of point in the right direction. If you know the thread to answer my question, please don't flame me, just point it out...

I attempted to upgrade my epic 4G from EB13 to EC05 last night. I did this with Odin3, everything said it passed no problem. Yet, it did not work. It would get to the Samsung screen then vibrate, pause, vibrate, pause, then nothing, just stayed there.
I followed the directions to flash the original EB13 that was on the phone to begin with. I followed the directions exactly, Odin failed, big surprise right? Now, Odin simply verified the MD5 said it was good and stopped. Now my phone just gets the 'phone-!-computer' icon, I can still boot into the downloading screen, but am unable to get Odin to do anything, am I missing something, or is there anything I can do to remedy this?
OK, I just tried the Samsung updater for eb13 and it failed at param.lfs

It's worth a try but the Samsung updater has it's own tar already. I think the answer he's looking for is in the Wiki.
I've searched through the wiki. Am I missing something? I find the root/recovery programs, they all say how to root, but I am not finding how to recover. for example, "One Click Root and Recovery", even though I cannot boot my phone, will it still recover? I tried it in the download screen, but it does not connect. How do I use these to recover?
I tried redownloading the tar again, SPH-D700-EB13-8Gb-REL.tar.md5, but I get the same result, Odin checks the file says it's OK then stops doing anything.
Am I using the incorrect tar? is there a tar that's not an MD5?
Are you using your stock samsung cable?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
From the Wiki-
"If you get a FAILED error after it writes "param.lfs", try this method:
1. Reboot the phone and reset Odin
2. Load the pit file and place the tar in the Phone section
3. Start the recovery
4. The process will hang while writing "factoryfs.rfs"
5. Reboot the phone and reset Odin
6. Load the pit file, place the tar in the PDA section, and start the recovery again
7. It should now complete in about 3 mins.
8. Congratulations! Thank noobnl
If that doesn't work, take out the battery and reboot into download mode with only the usb cord plugged in."

Also yes, to placing the tar under PDA and using the stock cable, plugged directly into a directly soldered motherboard USB port
I am waiting for the tar to redownload, as soon as it does, I'll remove the .md5 extension.

Well....that didn't work.
Trying it now with the victory pit, and th eb13 tar. without the .md5 extension.

This is my first Android, been a Palm guy for years, but after my pre problems, I made the change. Theoretically going to older version shouldn't hurt, but I wanted to be sure.
One last thing, I seem to currently be getting to the datafs and nothing seems to happen after that, it's been about 10 minutes in this state, normal?
Thanks all for the help and assistance so far! it is much appreciated.
no idea how it shut off, it was on download screen, then black. took out battery, set back into downloading mode (#1 and power), now back at the datafs point, waiting...
oh, and the cable is brand new, using my wifes cable from her two day old epic.
Hello, everyone.
I'm new to this forum and new to working with cell phones.
I have (rather - created) a problem - my former Sprint Galaxy S4 (L720T) probably bricked: the phone shows "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, please select recovery mode..."
This happened after I tried to downgrade from OA3 firmware to MK5.
I can still get to download mode by pressing Vol-/"center button"/power and start Odin (1.82 or 3.07 or 3.09) and start flashing (thru PDA), but the process freezes and Odin stops responding.
what led to it?
I'll try to explain everything I did before.
I have two phones (galaxy s4 sprint) and for both I obtained MSL 6-digit numbers (from sprint).
I unlocked first phone (which had ...MK5 version) to use over GSM network: it was rooted, I added superSU, Titanium backup, went through *#0011# command and changed settings (found on this forum), virtual terminal (did something through it, too) and, then, "applied" SSU.apk to actually unlock the phone. It didn't go as fast and smooth, because some things did not go as described in the tutorials and instructions. The phone works.
The second phone has ...OA3 version and I did as much (and relatively in the same order) work as with the first one. EXEPT, SSU.apk did not unlock the phone in this particular version (it was designed for MK5).
So, I thought that downgrading from ...OA3 (Android 4.4.2) to ...MK5 Android 4.3) is a sound solution. and I tried, using Odin(s) and file "L720TVPUAMK5_L720TSPTAMK5_L720TVPUAMK5_HOME.tar.md5" (through PDA button in Odin.)
The odin took long time to process it and it seemed to finish the job (I really don't remember what exactly happened that time) and I either turned off the phone or unplugged usb cord, and remember seeing blue "status bar" on the phone below the logo and message below it.
I realized that I screwed up after seeing the "dreadfull" message: Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, please select recovery mode...
I turned on phone in download mode and used odin (versions 1.85, 33.07, 3.09) to try to download firmware (MK5) ( I used buttons "bootload", PDA) to no avail.
I also tried to get into recovery mode (Vol+/center button/power) - nothing happened.
Now I'm stuck - I don't know how to re-install the original firmware (MK5) on this phone (or OA3).
I was looking for a solution (and still looking), but I found no answer so far.
Thus, I turned to you, knowledgeable people, to help me and lead in (point to) the right direction.
I know almost nothing about Android programming and the smart phones. I know veeery little about Linux (for PC - as an end user), so bear this in mind when you reply.
Thank you in advance.
Meanwhile I'll keep looking for solution anyway.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-sprint is where you need to go to get your questions properly answered, as you had posted this originally in the international S4 forum.
I'll let a mod know the thread needs to be moved.

Update:
Before I messed with the phone, I copied all the folders from the phone to my PC. When I plugged the phone, windows window (sounds stupid) popped up and I double-clicked on "phone" and copied all available files, e.g. "Alarms", "Android", "Applications" etc. I didn't perform backup at all.
I store this phone without battery now.
Also, when I tried to flash with "L720TVPUAMK5_L720TSPTAMK5_L720TVPUAMK5_HOME.tar.md5", Odin froze, the blue status bar on the phone just appeared and froze, too.
Another update,
I tried to use Kies to use tool "emergency firmware recovery" - I\it couldn't connect with the phone.
Yesterday I tried to connect with the working phone - same thing - no connection. The usb cable is original Samsung's.
update #2
UPDATE (yes - all in caps!)
1 . I booted phone in download mode (Vol-/Home center button/power)
2. pressed Vol + (to continue)
3. plugged usb cord
4. started Odin 3.04
5. checked options "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset time"
6. ckicked on PDA button and chose file "openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.1-jfltespr.tar" (It was downloaded from one of youtube instructions.)
7. clicked on START
8. the process went through and passed:

10. the phone rebooted and back to "normal" (means stil Sprint), rooted but still with "invalid card" message.
11. KNOX 0x1
12. baseband version is L720TVPUOA3, Android version: 4.4.2, kernelversion: 3.4.0-3892813 [email protected] #1 Thu Jan 15 09:50:12 Kst 2015.
Now...
the SSU.apk will not work, as it was design for android version 4.3 (this app unlocks the sprint phones (used it before on another phone)).
I'll look for SAFE downgrading to 4.3 (MK5) if not, I'll look for unlocking (similar to SSU.apk) for 4.4.2 version.
And I still need to re-check all the settings (like *#0011#).
conclusion: the bricked phone is revived now.
I'd like to thank this forum anyway for keeping a lot of information (sometimes overwhelming amounts of info).
Hello everyone. Was trying to update my S7 Edge to the latest firmware, India. However. the phone got stuck in recovery mode. Cant even switch off the phone. Tried to reinstall in recovery mode once but that too failed.
Also the screen is on and the phone is warm for mre than 5 hrs. I am afraid some internal hardware might get damages. Its stuck on the green screen which reads :An error has occurred whil;e updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in smartswitch PC software.
The service centre are closed for two days due to Ganpati festival here. Need your urgent help.
Is this "recovery screen" cyan/blue? If yes then it's a odin recovery mode.
Just hold volume down + home + power until Your phone force reboots to odin mode.
But. If that doesn't do anything or still shows You that recovery screen, then just open odin on Your PC and connect Your phone. It should find Your phone anyway. Now all You have to do is flash any kind of image if Your phone has working boot.img and system.img. If not then reflash whole firmware and You should be fine

OK. Never realized a thumbs up thanks works more than a written and acknowledged thanks. Have done it.
Have been going through some tutorials. Just have a query whether to add CSC file or Home CSC file to odin folder?
So finally tried installing through odin. But received a fail message. Any suggestions? Received the following msgs.

Sorry. I was busy.
Okay!
Tap on AP in odin and add Home image and then tap on start. Home image should be around 3-4GB.
Edit: make sure that You have newest odin and proper firmware for Your phone.

Thanks again. I did try uploading all four files. AP, BL, CP and Home CSC.
So after tapping on AP i should add AP file right which is 4.2 GB? Didnt get any home image file.
Sorry for the silly questions. I am a complete noob in all this.
Update: Finally managed to restore via smartswitch. Thank you everyone

I'm happy You fixed it .
Just in case if You'll need extra help later. (Or anyone else)
Inside the zip file that You download from sammobile should be couple of files. One of them should be named Home_something.tar.md5 - this one goes to AP.
Then You should press start and let it do its work. But if Smartswitch works for You then no need to worry.
Just to inform you if there is a next time, try another USB port and/or a different USB cable (ie. the original one)
same issue
i have pretty much the same issue but mine is stuck via a bad rom. the problem I have now is my computer will not recognize it when I plug into usb. any ideas?
So awhile back I bricked my Samsung Galaxy Tablet 4 by installing a 1 click root app and later restarting my tablet. I haven't been able to fix it since. I was using an app because of the locked bootloader. Is there a way to fix this? The tablet uses the T337AUCU2BOH4 firmware which I think I was able to find through google, although it said it only worked for nonrooted apps which I didn't understand.
You could search about Odin. With it you can install samsung stock firmware on your device, if you can still boot to download mode. Also it's best to avoid 1 click root apps(if possible) they seem to cause problems very often.

I found the firmware files here
I set my device to download mode and chose the file for the BL, AP, CP, and CSC section of Odin3 and click start. The program than stalls at SetupConnection and fails. I run Odin3 a second time and it's now stalling at Initialization. Later attempts I get a log with "Can't open the serial(COM) port". I Googled something that suggested I download the USB driver for the tablet so I downloaded this, but it didn't help.
Here's my log:
Code:
<ID:0/005> Added!!
<ID:0/005> Odin engine v(ID:3.1203)..

Can any help me figure out what I'm doing wrong here? I don't really know much about android so this stuff is all new to me.

This guide says that you should only choose file for the AP, but I have no idea is that fix for your problem.

Thanks for finding that! I was actually originally following that guide although I had to find the firmware files elsewhere. I tried just selecting the AP, but it didn't work. I'm still getting the same set of errors.
Edit: I restarted Odin3 and unplugged and the cord and plugged it back in and I think it's working now. It started downloading and the tablet rebooted when it was done. At first, it looked promising, but it booted to some AT&T logo in the middle and white background which scared me a little. After a minute or so it booted up to the welcome menu to configure the tablet. Thanks so much for your help!

No problem. About that AT&T logo, you can get rid of it by finding "non-branded firmware" (or something like that I don't know the right term for it) or you can check if SM-T335 has same specs as your tablet(all its firmwares seem to be "non-branded"). Like with sm-t230 you can use sm-t231 roms. But be careful if you do that.
This site might have more firmwares http://forum.youmobile.org/downloads/?cat=151 thought I'm not sure have I ever tried to download from there. Atleast you can find build numbers there.
Or maybe rooting your device and changing boot animation.
