H990DS Bluetooth crashing - LG V20 Questions & Answers

Bluetooth won't turn on, just immediately crashes. The app version is 8.0.0.
I've already tried clearing cache and data on anything related to bluetooth. The bug report says the crash is from a 'java.Lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError' exception.
Android 8.0.0

Problem since last update (Bell)

Hello all,
the S4 is my 4th Android cellphone and I also have a few more other Android devices.
Since the last update, I have a few apps that crash to to the main screen with no error message once in a while.
I NEVER had this problem with any of my current or previous Android devices (except the S4 with latest patch, it was fine before the patch btw).
So before I wipe the phone I wanted to know if it was a common problem with the S4 and the latest update.
Thanks.
Note: The phone is stock + CF Root, thats it.
not a common issue no: was your update OTA? First thing I would do is go into recovery and wipe the cache and the davlik cache and re-boot. If the problem persists, you may want to wipe the data -- it sounds to me that the issue is some remnant data from an app that needs updating to the latest firmware -- I presume you've gone into play store and updated all your apps since the OTA update of the firmware?

"CaptivePortalLogin has stopped"

So out of no where, I'm starting to get this error when I try to log in to my work's guest Wi-Fi. I had no issues this morning accepting the T&C and connecting. It times out after 8 hours and forces you to accept the T&C again to connect.
I'm on build MTC19X
6.0.1
Stock rooted w/ xposed.
I've tried:
- rebooting normally
- rebooting to recovery, wiping cache and rebooting
- navigating to system app for CaptivePortalLogin and clearing data and cache
- manually navigating to http://1.1.1.1/login which doesn't load (not sure if that's even an option, was just something I found on Google)
At this point, I'm trying to avoid having to wipe and reflash but I'll do it if I have to. I want to see if anyone has any possible fixes before I do this.
I reflashed the system.img only and it fixed the problem.

If you happened to use a layers theme it may have caused the issue. I had the same error in the past when using a layers theme. Anyway glad to hear your issue has been resolved.
CaptivePortalLogin
"CPL" keeps crashing on me too. Android 7.1.1 Android Beta Program. Same problem when booting in safe mode. Recent update to Google Connectivity Services had no affect. Logging in to home wifi isn't a problem. Issue is only at public wifi such as Starbucks or the library.
Having this issue as well after flashing 7.1.1 Developer preview. Only happens when you have to login/accept terms and conditions for public wifi
Yep. Any solution yet? Or is it an issue with the developer preview that requires rolling back or waiting for stable version in Dec?
7.1.1 dev preview, rooted, same problem as well.

Restart on App Data Clear/Opening Security Settings [MARSHMALLOW]

So, I got my Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus (SM-G901F), and flashed the MoKee Rom today.
Like in the title, when I'm clearing the app data (not the cache!! There's nothing wrong with clearing cache), or deleting an app, it doesn't matter which app, my phone automaticly reboots and the app data gets not cleared/the app doesn't get deleted.
Also facing the problem with opening the Security tab under Settings.
Does someone have a fix for these 2 problems?
Thanks

LG-H873 Oreo Update - Settings screen keeps opening

After updating the LG-H873 to Oreo, I am now experiencing the settings screen opening randomly. I don't even have to be touching the phone and the settings screen opens up. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, is there a fix? Thanks in advance.
It was a clean update? Also, have you tried clean all the app caches and system cache?
This was a clean install. After Oreo was installed, I reset the phone to factory default and then reinstalled my apps. I also cleared the cache.
I didn't even get an Oreo update. Nani?

Issues with Lineage OS 18.1

Hi so I recently had to wipe my phone due to issues with an update for lineage os 18.1, so I did a factory reset and wiped all cache and data and decided to do a fresh install with the lastet update (the one from the link below) I installed the Gapps that I provided and then set my phone with some apps that I backed up, installed Magisk and added the two modules I listed, however now I am having issues with audio and video playback where the audio suddenly stops but the video continues or backwards, after checking with Logcat Extreme apparently the audio server keeps crashing with the message: HalDeathHandler: HAL server crashed, audio server is restarting
LineageOS version: 18.1
LineageOS Download url: https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/fu...neage-18.1-20211014-nightly-fajita-signed.zip
Gapps version: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=322935
wipe: yes
restore with titanium backup: no
reboot after having the issue: yes
a task killer: no
a non-stock kernel: no
other modifications: Magisk with hide props and systemless hosts and GCAM MGC by BSG 8.11
Provide any additional information:To be honest I don't know if the issue started happening after or before I Installed Magisk
I had the exact same issue (with the same logcats and all) and I solved it by disabling the "Ok Google" recognition in Google's Voice preferences. Mine hasn't been working for days anyway. I suspect the media/phone freezings and audio server crashings had something to do with that btw. If I re-enable "Ok Google" the problem shows up again so it's that for me.
