VNS = ???
L31 = Code name for a Huawei P9 Lite Double SIM ???
C530 = ???
B130 = Firmware version?
I want to have a backup of the stock recovery before trying to Root the phone... Where can I find the good one?
This phone is new... It's probably branded by a French operator (Bouygues).
(I'm new with Huawei product)

VNS-L31 is the model number of the phone, Cxxx is the region and Bxx is the firmware version.
To obtain the stock recovery, use Huawei extractor to get it from the UPDATE.APP. To obtain the UPDATE.APP, you need to download the firmware related to your phone, ie. VNS-L31C530B130. Simply unpack the update.zip, you'll see the UPDATE.APP in it. Hope this helps

A last question : Is it any website to download any firmware (maybe a Huawei official website?)
If I find a Rom B130 from another region, will this recovery be ok with my C530 region? I just found a C432 region...
I think that it's not possible to extract my stock Recovery from my phone.

Whether the region matters or not depends on if your device (carrier) is region locked...

VNS - Phone name, I believe the codename is Venus
L31 - denotes the 3GB RAM version (L21 is 2GB, there are also L23 but they are only available in certain regions and I'm not sure about them)
CXXX - Region, C432 is the global, probably the best you can have
BYYY - Firmware number, B161 is the latest, those starting with B3YY are Nougat builds

I found the method using the dialler on M3 LTE version BTV-DL09, but it does not work for W09.

Found the method.
Open calculator in landscape mode and enter () () 2,846,579 () () =
Vendor Country Info (same as oeminfo?) shows
Vendor: hw
Country: usa
My M3 is a US Wifi version W09C128.
Now I have rolled back to Marshmallow using European firmware, and the build number becomes W09C100B006.
Cannot obtain OTA updates, due to conflicting oeminfo?
What's next?
Any suggestions most welcome, and thanks in advance!
PS Already tried flashing Nougat B302 on Firmware Finder unsuccessfully, ending up with NTV90M test key build number.
