Firmware installed strictly in accordance with the location of the smartphone. Otherwise there will be problems. You can see it in the engineering menu *#*#2846579#*#*> Network info-on query>Country Vendor Info>Vendor. Chinese location dualcu/cn
What is the need to install an older firmware version ? The more there is stock 4G P8 (GRA-UL10&GRA-UL00,Android 5.0,Emotion UI 3.1, V100R001C00B141,)
anyway to install android 6 on ul00?
is this trick possible to our P8 to change the country internal and then flash another P8 Rom ? (i. E. CN to international)

Hi guys,
There's an offer from aliexpress for the P9 Lite but from the feedbacks, the phone is coming with a chinese firmware. Well, you can set the language you want but some people say it still has some chinese stuff.
Would it be possible to Flash the phone with the lastest official Rom (international) from Huawei ? With this tool ? https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...pe-vns-l31-toolkit-bootloader-t3432873/page53
I've made some search and came with a tutorial with dload and just an sdcard with the content of the new ROM. Is it just simple as that ? Will it erase every chinese stuff and put Google Play Store ?
Thank you very much.
First, which model is it? There are some particular chinese model that have a different chipset so it may be incompatible with international firmware.
I have a VNS-L23 model can i flash the international firmware on it

Yes you should be able to do it. I don't have the link at the moment, but if you search Huawei Firmware Finder you can find a tool to search all Huawei firmware. The European ROM is c432 and the international one is the c900
Thanks i debranded last night and my phone is currently saying VNS-L31C432

Theorically if he flashes c432 oeminfo it should work.
The AL00 version is a different phone with a snapdragon chipset so be very careful.
No. You can't . Different hardware. You may brick your device.
I have a vns-l23 on build vns-l23c45b130, would it hurt anything to flash the international rom (c900)?
Hello,
I'm lost in Huawei firmware naming scheme.
I'm using update.PRA-LX1C02B370.zip
As far as i know, this firmware is Android 8.0.
1) i thought Bxxx was for Nougat, Cxxx was for Oreo. Why i have C02 and B370 is the same firmware ?
2) On this site https://easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=downloads&b=folder&id=21203 i can find others firmware.
I'm in europe. The latest in date is PRA-LX1 8.0.0.365(C10).
Above there is also some PRA-LX1 8.0.0.375(C900)
Wouldn't it be suitable for my phone ? It seems more advanced than the first. So what means C900 vs C10 ?
Thank you !

Actually 8.0.0.376 (C02).
As i'm FR, i certainly flashed this firmware to go from EMUI5 to EMUI8, because i certianly did not have Vodafone DE firmware initially.
The best move would be to move to 8.0.0.402 C432 or C900 firmware, but:
1) i don't really find this firmware to download
2) i would like to see the changelog
But i fear i can't really find thoses informations

Hello,
this happened because you
choose that firmware...
you are very lucky you didn't bricked your device.
You could try to use Firmware Finder again
to revert back to your previous version,
but as i told, you could brick it,
that's your choice.
Another way is unlock the bootloader,
install a custom recovery (TWRP),
flash an OEMinfo file and your correct firmware.
It depends on the android version,
on the region (CUST) in which you live
or for which the firmware has been released
and if the device is single or dual sim.
Good luck dude !
P.S.: took a look and it seems
the link for Hassan's twrp download
is no longer available...
Maybe other twrps are still available,
but i'm pretty sure someone could
repost it for you...
I have tried to reinstall it to my previous version, but it didn't work.

No.
At least up to my knowledge, it is impossible to get the code without a PC (more precisely, you can unlock BL without PC only if you have the unlock code).

You can try flash it with Service ROM Download . Type VNS-L31, or VNS- .
Download correct firmware - EMUI version, Cxxx (the bracketed (Cxxx) is your device’s regional variant.
This number is very important in determining the correct firmware to download. Select your previous Cxxx, not current C00 ) and single/dual SIM (all firmwares that end with even numbers are for dual SIM, odd numbers are for single SIM).
Instructions can be found in 'ReleaseDoc' folder.
If you cannot unpack downloaded zip archive on PC, unpack it in the internal memory using this RAR apk.
Extracted 'dload' folder copy/transfer to the SD card. Good luck.

I forgot the last cxxx of the build number, but the model is l31 for sure, dual sim and comes with Android version 6.0, EMUI 4.1
There's no Service ROM for EMUI 4.1 , you have to flash UPDATE.APP file.

Any forced flash with wrong region will bring your phone to C900 (global) or will brick your phone.

Good evening I would like to ask something.
I would like to upgrade a Huawei p9 lite VNS-L21 from Android 6 Marshmallow to Android 7 Nougat. The serial number is VNS-L21C432B160. Among the various guides I found various firmware for Huawei VNS-L21 but never the serial number that ends with B160. What I would like to ask is if I have to count all the serial number or is it enough that the firmware is of the VNS-L21 model?

Yes and
edit your question to remove your full serial number , Write it on a piece of paper somewhere
Yes to what?
And what problems did the serial number of my smartphone give? Seeing that the firmware downloads have exactly this identical serial number for millions of people or more?

Hello,
A. Cxxx) is your device’s regional variant.
This number is very important in determining the correct firmware to download. So you need C432 FW.
(Any forced flash with wrong region may brick your phone.)
B. All firmwares that end with even numbers are for dual SIM (odd numbers are for single SIM).

You don't need B160, this is the last update for EMUI 4.1.
Your build number is VNS-L21C432 so correct FW to update to EMUI is VNS-L21C432B370.
Unfortunately, Firmware finder and Huawei download link are dead since february, so the B370 is no longer available.
C. You can try to update to A7 flashing Service ROM via dload method
download link
(Instructions can be found in ReleaseDoc folder).
D. Also you can unlock the bootloader via DC-unlocker, then install in TWRP B370 (two .zip files ,off. method). Later you can update to the latest build number - B504 via dload method.
Edit: I have B370 packages on disk, can it upload to MEGA , if needed.

IMO best solution :
Look here
- Download both .zip files
- Use installation method 3. It should work. GL.
