Apologies as I can see this has been answered a few times, I just can't figure out exactly how I should do this, and I have run into problems before.
I want to go back to the best stock ROM for my UK Mi 9T. From what I've read I think it is Xiaomi.EU - is this correct?
I'm currently on Lineage. I don't know what my previous ROM was before, but last time I tried this I ended up in a reboot loop and couldn't flash due to anti rollback, so ended up flashing LineageOS again. I have a version of TWRP, I don't know which. I tried with the Mi Flash tool last time.
Could somebody tell me the best way to do this?
Many, many thanks

Hello all!
I am reaching the end of my rope with this particular issue. First of all, I have the American Blu Life Pure XL 32GB edition. I was able to root it just fine and flashed Candar's, Nori's, and the various stock ROM's successfully with no issues using the TWRP recovery. Then, I saw that Nori had released a new version which I obtained from here. Upon doing so, I booted into a ROM that would not connect to my home wifi or my cell network. I quickly rebooted thinking that would solve the problem. Instead I got stuck in a boot loop that I have yet to recover from. I have tried everything I could think of:
Restoring my stock TWRP backup
Restoring the CWM backup of Nori's old ROM
Restoring the stock India GiONEE ROM
Re-flashing every one of the above ROM's
Firmware flashing using the brush pack/flash tools from here
Still the issue remains, even after using the brush pack. The only thing that Nori's new ROM does differently is flash some different firmware, so that is likely where the problem lies. Does anyone have any ideas on where I should go from here?
I think the problem is modem.img file system, I have seen that talk about this forum Blu Xl Pure Life.
I think you should replace this file by the Stock Rom for Blue life pure Xl .

Yes, I believe the issue is in the modem as well. The backup I made using TWRP doesn't have that file directly available, though. Do you have access to the file or know someone who may have a complete copy of the Blu LPXL firmware?

Hi,
Wonder if anyone has come across this issue before. While Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) BTU was on Lollipop, I could flash what ever custom roms I wanted. However since updating to MarshMallow 6.0.1, any custom rom I install results in constant resets on boot.
So instead of boot looping its reset looping. I can see for some reason it will not create Cache / Dalvik Cache mounts, maybe that has something to do with it, I dont know. I know I have spent hours trying to work out issue.
because of bootloader/cp. you have to flash lollipop ones if you want to intall any branch of cm. cm13 will work with MM bl/cp eventually

Hello everybody,
I have a Moto x play running CM 13. I followed the process listed somewhere in this forum and successfully installed cm 13.
Bad news is my laptop got stolen at uni. I had installed Motorola drivers and all that stuff in there, so now I'm wondering if I can go through this process without that laptop. I hope I can.
I only have the cellphone and I would like to return it to its original firmware so I can sell it.
Is there a safe way to do this without "bricking" my phone? I'm not very well versed in these processes and managed to install cm13 only because the procedure was very clear. I hope you guys can help me!
The original carrier is Iusacell (Mexico), although the cellphone itself is unlocked and takes any Sim.
thanks in advance!

to flash original firmware without PC you can use Chainfire's Flashfirehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/general/paid-software/flashfire-t3075433, however - it's still kinda experimental, needs some knowlege, and I'm not really sure if it supports our device. Reading through its thread may give you some clues. This will not revert your phone to out-of-the-box condition - that would take relocking your bootloader and PC is needed to do so (warranty will be still voided anyway). So maybe just try flashing some stock ROM in TWRP. The procedure will be the same as flashing CM.

I feel more comfortable with the second option. I found this github with MXP ROMs for my country and carrier: https://github.com/motoxplay/stock
I honestly can't remember if I had it at the beginning with Android 5 or 6. What happens if I flash Android 6 and it originally was 5? I suppose I should make a backup "nandroid" first.
BTW, can the bootloader be locked again via a new PC?

Flashing newer firmware won't break anything, it's a normal update. Worse thing would be if you tried to flash Lollipop over Marshmallow.
Making backup is always a good idea, do mind however, that flashing full stock firmware means overwriting your TWRP with stock recovery. Also, be aware the files you linked are actually firmware and not TWRP flashable zips.
And yes, you should be able to relock bootloader with original firmware.
Iam a bit nervous right now, I tried installing havoc rom and everything went well from the start but when I booted my phone all the folders in the phone had strange names and I could not do anything. Now twrp is gone too. Is there anyway you can install a rom from fastboot? Or is it something else I can do to save my phone?
Thanks for your help!
I fixed the problem by installing mclaren rom with fastboot
So this thread can be deleted

Man there are threads about this in guide news section, and by the way I don't see the point of installing McLaren on a non McLaren model. All specific esthetic features can be installed by other ways, and the latest ROM is 9.0.11 even on McLaren models
I want to flash latest stock ROM of Zenfone, pls help me out.
Currently I'm on this ROM with TWRP recovery.

There are plenty of tutorial threads in this forum section that explain very clearly on how to restore the stock rom. Do a quick research first.

I have gone through those tutorials, but I have a bit different problem.
Purchased this phone last year, unlocked BL, & made backup via twrp.
Since then never updated my phone & used various other roms.
Now I want to flash latest stock firmware but facing problem like version mismatch as my previous backup was of stoneage & twrp cannot flash stock firmware.
Asus flash tool is also not helping.

Do not restore your old backup, it won't work. Just forget it. Also, no need to use AFT.
Try this method instead: https://forum.xda-developers.com/as...ow-to/guide-revert-to-stock-rom-lock-t3798420
I use that method for 3 times already and always ended up with success. Just make sure you follow the instructions very carefully. Good luck!
