So I've been having this issue for a while now where apps work fine over mobile data won't work when mobile is connected to WiFi.
Some such apps are-
Discord
Spotify
twitter
google keyboard gif search tool while using WhatsApp
I'd like to mention that the same apps work great on other devices over wifi. I made a thread about it last week -
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/networking/apps-fine-mobile-data-wont-wifi-t3959012
The temporary solution that doesn't work anymore was clearing phones cache and putting it on airplane mode.
Now I was able to find a concrete solution with which I was able to replicate this bug. Turning IPv6 off in my wifi settings.

~So do I keep the IPv6 off or is there a workaround cause from what I know IPv6 is important and it should be on.
Tl;Dr When IPv6 is on in router setting, android apps won't work. When turned off, they work great.

I've ran through a strange issue very recently after configuring an exchange account to one of my user. Well! its on his Android handset (only over WiFi and the mobile DATA works just fine) but not the PC. To make it more clear, here's what I have done;
- His PC (on LAN) and mobile (on WiFi) is on the same network. PC works just fine while phone does not.
- Another email under the same domain with another Android device (which is mine) works very well without any interruption as well as on the same network as above.
- Tried removing, adding back by clearing all the DATA and cache of the **Email** app which didn't help.
Below seen is combined screenshot of the corresponding device.

**This sounds more like an OS issue to me than a mail or the device issue.**
Any advise or anyone solved having such similar issues, could help me on this.
i have updated to android N and have a problem with WIFI staying connected to a network or getting message " connected but no internet" i have booted into safe mode and sure enough, wifi stays on, i have tried trial and error process , deleting apps i have installed with no luck. next step was to factory reset, AGAIN wifi connects/disconnects.
i had a similar problem with 6.0.1 , vary slow wifi speeds compared to other devices, had to roll back to 5.1.1
some help would be much appreciated.
Make sure keeping wifi on while sleep is enabled. Also, make sure that aggressive wifi to cellular handover is disabled in developer options

You may have the wrong vendor.img installed. Update it with the correct one associated to your custom ROM. You should be good to go after.

So far I haven't found a way to disable the pull down quick settings panel (wifi, bluetooth..etc) on the lock screen. I was hoping that at least the lockdown mode was gonna do that but it doesn't.
What's to stop somebody from turning my wifi off while I'm downloading something? That level of control shouldn't be available on a locked phone..
Last week a friend enabled the wifi hotspot on my locked phone and started watching youtube videos on their device. I am not sharing my hotspot password with them again. I can't afford that with my evil monopoly megacorp of an isp..
Disabling the pulldown settings should be an option or at least integrated into lockdown mode imo. I'm quite sure this issue exists on a lot of android firmwares and not just lineage

LOS 18.1 on kebab
Hi
Strange bug, with every data (Wifi and mobile) off, my Nothing still have data connexion on.
How i discovered problem ? On lockscreen i still received Twitter notifications with Wifi and Mobile data off.
I also received new updates availables from Play Store on lockscreen, so i decided to update apps with data off, and my phone downloaded updates. Annoying. Screenshot below.
On screenshot, you can also see that "Données mobiles" Mobile data is off, and 5G logo is still here on statusbar.
I also made a speedtest (5G logo is NOT on statusbar) and mobile data is ON as i have 424Mbps download speed.
It's a mess lol. Need to switch to airplane mode to really cut mobile data.
Let me know if you have same problem.
