hey guys,
i am on an android 7 custom rom. since upgrading to android nougat, i am not able to connect to my university wifi. however i can perfectly fine log in on an older android version with the same login.
if i enter my login now, i cant even hit the connect button cause its greyed out.
every other network works fine. seems to be an issue with this PEAP one we use at university. i read it somewhere on the web.
any ideas?
thanks!

You may have the wrong vendor.img installed. Update it with the correct one associated to your custom ROM. You should be good to go after.

I have a feeling I'm going to end up wearing a pointy hat and standing in the corner for this, but I've just installed Ubuntu 10.04 server, along with LAMP server option.
Everything went OK and the server is running. If I access it via a browser, I get the, 'It Works!" default page.
What I want to do now is upload a Joomla installation via FTP, but find that I can't get access as no user name and password combination I've tried is accepted and I just get "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".
What have I missed?

I've gotten that a few times. I found a thread discussing this and some thought it was related to syncing Internet under Accounts and sync settings. I unchecked Internet and the problem hasn't recurred for me, but it is too early to tell.
thanks dude! i just did that for both my gmail accounts. hope it all goes well.
Hi all,
I used to be able to log onto VPN without any issues. However recently I am having trouble connecting to the VPN network. I tried different VPN apps but none of it works. I have also installed Tun.Ko installer but there isn't any tun.Ko module which is compatible to my phone. Do you know how to resolve this issue? I really do hope to be able to use VPN again without having to do a factory reset. I have attached screenshots of the diagnostic report by DroidVPN for your reference.

It seems that he does have internet connection since in the 2nd pic he has 3g. Try changing apn. Or take out the sim and use a different one. If the other sim works then it may be an issue with the carrier blocking his services. He can also try updating his phone to the latest version.
Try deleting some apps as well, start with the ones recently downloaded or updated. Some apps may interfere with the software or connection.
If it still won't work backup the phone and do a full reset
I am having problems with my 2 year old radio. It started giving me a message every time I connect to wifi that this wifi does not have internet, but internet works fine. I have reset the unit from setting menu hoping it will fix this problem but of course, it didn't and on top of it now I can't login to Google. Every time it tells me that it's wrong password. I know password is correct as I can login fine from other devices.
So, I need to reset this unit from recovery or get root. Problem is that it asks for password when I want to enable USB debugging.
Just so frustrated with this unit now. It would be easiest to flash firmware one more time but I have no clue what this radio is.
If anyone can help with usb debugging password or rom, I would be very grateful.
Bart.
