Hi I have the lg g2 and I'm having a issue, I hope you can help me perhaps someone got this problem too
When I turn the phone on, it works fine but after turning off it won't turn on, I have to disconnect the battery for several days until it will turn on again. Tried to switch up batteries but don't turn on, not even if I plug the charger. All pins connectors looks fine. Do you know what may cause this? Thanks, regards

I think your batterys dead.
I agree once you go below a certain percentage it screws things up
I think the device is dead.
It doesn't charge anymore
In my experience,
the device won't charge unless it's in SLEEP mode or when it's turned on.
Try recharging from a standalone charger.
Try this
Take out the battery, wait few seconds and put it back on. Don't power it up just connect it to the USB/charger . Wait for few seconds and then a led should turn on. What color is the led ? Yellow or red ? Does the led turn on ?
I tried out but the led doesn't turn on.

try another thing...take out the battery, wait for few seconds, and then plug it in the wall charger, not the usb. Wait another few seconds and then plug in the battery.
If this doesn't do anything..i suggest trying with another battery. Or...i'm out of ideas.
I try at work tomorrow.
There I maybe can get another Vario for testing.
I post if it works or not.
But thanks for help.
Thanks for your help.
The battery is dead. I tried with the battery of another Wizard.
It works fine. I just bought a new battery
Glad you got it fixed.
it-2,
You didnt need to biy another battery. You can jump start your battery with a 9volt battery. There is anothe thread in this forum of how to do that. Look for 9volt posted by xeno1.

My Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard) was working perfectly until I noticed that amber charging indicator was not on when I plugged the charger into it.
Soon after finding this problem, I found bigger problem. It won't turn on or turn off when I press the power button.
Only ways to turn it on are to press the reset button or to pull out or push in mini SD card. Once it is on, the 8125 works fine. I set the 8125 "turn off device if not used for 1minute" in Battery Power setting for turning it off.
For some reason, amber charging indicator is now back on and the battery is charged OK and it lasts 3-4 days as it did before. But it still won't turn on or off.
I even tried Hard Reset but it didn't fix the problem.
Would it be simply a power button problem?
Has anyone had the same problem and found a cure for it?
Thanks for reading.
mine too
wierd just happened suddenly how did you get it to turn on again if you pull the battery? identicl symptoms anyone else? help!!!!
same problem..pls help
I am having the same problem on my phone. Did you guys fix the problem? Can some one please help.
1. Has it been dropped before?
2. Which charger, wall or USB?
My Universal runs fine on battery for a while then turns off completely for some reason. I then try to turn if on, it gets to the WM screen and then turns off again. I have to connect to mains charger or do soft reset to get phone to turn on again. Do you guys think there is a battery issue here or another issue? Maybe to do with the ROM?

Get A New Battery.
Its A Battery Issue. Get Yourself A Replacement Ordered.

I have the Bell version of this phone. I received it last week and I love it so far. The biggest issue that I have with this phone is that it will not stay off.
If I turn the phone off by holding the power button, it shows that it is turning off. 20 seconds later, the LG splash screen shows up and the phone powers back on by itself.
If I run it until the battery dies, I connect it to the charger, and a few seconds later I see the battery indicator. Without fail, within 40 seconds the phone powers back up on its own.
I have done a hard reset, and reinstalled everything and it doesn't help. Is this a quirk of this phone? Is there a fix that anyone knows of? I would really like the phone to remain off when I turn it off.
Sorry to hear you have this problem. I have not experience this problem with my phone.
Mine won't stay off if the power cord is plugged in.
So it can't charge while powered off (this is something I used to do to "re-calibrate" the battery on my Kaiser since WM6.x used to get in the way of the charging).
It could be that your USB port is damaged somehow to make the phone think that the power is plugged in?
That's about all I could think of... I find this behavior really aggravating.
Hello everyone! I will try to explain my problem as briefly as i can. Last Friday i was replacing headphone jack, and before this i put away battery. After replacing i sticked battery back to phone and tried to turn it on, but caught bootloop. I put away battery again, and sticked it back, and after that wasn't able to turn my device on with turn on/off button, just with turn on/turn off and volume down buttons. Now i can turn it on normally, but there is a huger issue with battery. It drains faster now, sometimes phone can turn off with no reason, and Nova Battery Tester shows sometimes +10c and after just 10 seconds temperature can become +60. Is it an issue with battery or what? Everything working good except battery.
