Same here locked with globe, hoping that flashing thru ODIN will unlock my s10+ but sadly isn't, btw there was a group offering unlock from the carrier with 2 methods price range from 1.2k - 3k.

is your phone unlock now?

Have any of you tried the *#272*IMEI# method to change the CSC? Globe is not locked, it just appears to be because it is loading the Globe customization since it is detecting the Globe CSC. I changed mine to XTC.

This is the one that I used, but still I have to insert Globe sim card on the Sim 2 for able to use Smart on Sim1 with LTE/3G/2G
P.S. I've use TM on Sim2 and disabled it, still Smart on Sim1 is working.

To my knowledge that won't work. He will have to insert another carrier's simcard to get the unlock code prompt.

A must read

Finally, I can finally write with a clear head after watching this bollywood movie.
Been searching for solution all over the web, couldn't find a precise solution yet or perhaps I could be the only one facing this.
I have a Samsung S7 Edge, with a Verizon carrier. The phone wasn't recognizing my sim network and kept on notifying I insert a Verizon Sim card.
Came across this post {GUIDE} Flashing the SM-935U firmware onto your Verizon S7 Edge and Rooting By dajmanjt, and followed it.:cyclops:
After successfully flashing the SM-935U firmware, the notification changed to No network connection, can't make calls, tried making an emergency call and it displays radio off.
Please, I need help!!! Need it to start recognizing my country's network (Nigeria).
Thanks
This isn't a must read ???

it looks like a hardware issue instead of software imo. And you probably flashed the wrong CSC (country code) firmware.

You are right. Is it possible to download the CSC and flash it separately?
And I will also need help in downloading a suitable or a universal ROM that is compatible with all cellular network if there is something like that.
Thanks so far Fureedx

Try flashing a custom rom.... I think that would fix it.

Hi
Its not by phone problem. Your Sim is locked call your operator or visit. They provide you PUK no. Of your sim enter it.
To confirm this problem is by sim try this same sim card in other phone.
I tried already

Sprint?

Can I use the S7 At&t version on Sprint? If so, how?
As long as it is sim unlocked yes. You could even flash the Sprint Odin files to make it more official. But I would start on att fw and just put your Sprint sim in to see what happens.

That means you aren't sim unlocked. Call the carrier to see if they'll do it for free. If not, try a 3rd party service.

Bought Phone from sprint. Will inserting the sim card lock the bootloader?

I want to be able to remove Sprints crapware. Should I unlock the bootloader before inserting the sim?

I might already be locked being it's a Sprint variant. Boot it up without the sim and if the unlock switch isn't greyed out then flip the switch. After that no sim can relock it

Bootloader is unlockable regardless.
From the way I understand it, if you boot the device with Sprint SIM, it will carrier lock the device. Meaning you will have to wait for Sprint to push updates for OTA.
But I am on Sprint and can confirm you can still unlock and root the device as normal instructions for the device state. And also sideload updates etc with no issue.

What are you talking about? There is no "crapware".
I bought the phone at Best buy and use Sprint. It locks as far as roaming and it hides the tethering option but I did switch the Sim and it worked on FreedomPop fine

If you boot into the bootloader, the phone will read "Sprint" or "OpenUS" next to variant.
