Am I the only one that wants a red S Pen with aura glow note? Wish I could order one from Samsung.
I'm right there with you. That would be awesome an awesome combination. The blue one is nice, don't get me wrong but, the shade of Red Samsung used is awesome. I wish the Note 10+ came in Red too. That would be pretty slick.

In the US? Yes. Blue, white, and black. Samsung posted listings prior to launch, so they were removed recently I guess. These colors can still be purchased from Bhphoto. Red was at Unpacked but we probably won't see the red pen domestically.

I spent way too much time browsing different international samsung sites to try to find one that I could see replacement s-pens on to try to get a red one.
I confirmed from MKBHD's video on the Note 10 that the Note 10 and 10+ S-pens are the same size, so a regular note 10 s-pen in red will fit a 10+.
Now to find someone offering the red one...

Normally you can ask support and they can give you the part number and you can order it.
Back in the note 3 days i had a limited edition back panel. Was a shinny blue color. Was only made over seas. But found the part number and had it ship from an overseas shop

So a little digging.
The part numbers are
EJ-PN970B*EGUS
Where * is the color of the phone.
I.e. S for sliver and the blue pen sliver tip
B For black etc...
So the red or pink one should be R or P.
But searching for that part number doesnt show anything.
Quick chat with samsungs says its not available yet. So i would wait maybe a month or so for it to pop up as a replacement.
And the phone model number is SM-N970FZRD.

Expansys are now selling the white Note for $3 more than the 'blue' one. I guess Samsung has given up charging the ridiculous premium for a white version!

I too have one made in Vietnam. It is the white model. I have heard that the Vietnamese factory is one of the largest Samsung factories so I doubt if a made in Vietnam product would be any inferior to a Korean one.

Yep, but on eBay you get your item and you're stuck with it unless it's broken or something. On Amazon you can get a refund even if you don't like the quality. I normally don't use eBay unless I have to.

You can buy the case 2-3 times over though at the price you are paying for just 1 in the OP, so I would say your chances would be pretty good.

Meh. On that point we're just going to disagree. I just feel safer buying from a seller on Amazon than on eBay. I do use eBay every so often. I just got a BNIB HD2 a few days ago for $200, so it's not all bad. I'm just leery of the accessory market is all. Lots of copies and knock offs, you know?

Just received the unit. Seals on both ends were broken. The box had dents on all the corners . There's clear tape missing on the sides of the tablet. The camera is covered, but there is protective tape on only one of the sides. The screen protector was crooked as well. Im wondering if this unit is refurbished. On hold for 25 minutes. Spoke with a very nice lady and explained everything to her. The unit doesnt appear to be damaged. I have 30 days to send it back. She said it is their practice to open the boxes to inspect before shipping. Not sure if thats true. Anyway, as long as I dont find problems with it, I'll keep it.

Bought it directly from Samsung USA. Tablet seems to be operating just fine. I'm ecstatic about my wireless keyboard working in tandem with my mouse on this tablet. I'm using a muti USB adapter, plugged into one of those dongles. I forget the name ATM. So far, so good.
I'm using Next Launcher and getting no lag. Very smooth.

Hmmm, when I added it to the shopping cart, it included Tax for me in Florida. That was the deal breaker for me.

At least for me Amazon has state tax. And these days, Bestbuy price matches with Amazon and Samsung too, so makes more sense for me to walk into Bestbuy and try getting this one for 50$ less

So look like pre-orders in the UK are going ahead on Friday. I went to the Samsung experience store in London today to take a look and choose a colour. However they didn't have the two colours I am trying to decide between: Gold or Green.
Has anyone had hands on with either of these? I cant quite decide if I like the green, I do like a phone a little different, so it probably will be my choice.

I initially went with white... Only becasue I always have black phones and wanted a change.. then I saw pics of the green one... Oh Yeah.... that looks pretty sleek to me.. So I went ahead and swapped my order..

saw the black one in a store the other day and placed a preorder straight away! It's not just black it has a blue/green pearlescent sheen that looks stunning. the white has a similar effect but nowhere near as nice and I expect the green one will be similar.
The black one is definitely the best looking imo. once you see this phone in the flesh you realise that the s6 edge is a real game changer. probably the best looking phone ever made and it's as slim as phones are ever going to need to get. wish I could go into cryogenic stasis and wake up on the 10th of april!

Works great, battery is excellent.
Battery life is the best of any device I've had. Camera is great using gcam. Downsides are case availability and really only one usable glass protector. Overall though the device is great.
Fellow Canadian here, is this a public deal. If so I'd love info on where I could buy it as well.

At Best buy, you can buy an unlocked S8 for 624 USD. If you go through a carrier, some are offering up to $300 off. With Black Friday around the corner, keep an eye out for deals.

I am currently using the S8. It's a great phone but the performance is not as smooth as I would like. It is the only reason I am looking at essential even thought it has a crappy camera

Canuck here. I bought this beauty from Amazon.com. Orderd it yesterday morning and recieved it this morning before noon. I'm was using the Note 8 and wanted to try this brute out. Great device for 500.00 bucks US. Worth every dime. Get it before it sells out. It's 1037.00 in Canada, ya right.

which color did you order?I checked amazon.om .Only white one is 500$.I dont see one for Black though
I had an s8 and note 8, performance is on par or better. Battery life is similar to the note 8, so all day with 3-4hrs sot. I also had a pixel and the stock Android experience is very similar, although I do periodically have lockups with some apps where I have to clear then from recents and restart the app. Overall this phone is by far the best phone I have used, and I go through a lot of phones, I also think curved screens are an annoying gimmick and I like small phones.
Edit: I shouldn't say the best phone by far, it's more that it is just a phone that fits what I perceive as the perfect form factor, small foot print with large non curved screen. Being unlocked with stock Android just makes it even better.

It's pretty good, it's not a Samsung device with all of the special little features however for a seamless Android experience, it's great. This device will do well now with price drop. Then when the Essential PH2 comes out, it will go back up in price for sure as it is worthy of it.

I was just on amazon.com, it's there. Black Moon color. Check again. I guarantee you, it's now going to start selling out.

Yes I have to agree, the size form for the Essential is great. It's a zippy device as well. I'm glad I have it to use when I want to switch from my note 8 from time to time.
