With the m20 you get bigger battery and higher resolution screen, but with the A20 you get an amoled screen
I prefer the amoled screen

I had a similar white screen problem, I think your LCD screen in broken,
I had to get it serviced and the display cost 3500 rupees
and they waived off the service charge because i was under warranty
If you are getting a partial display of the phone menus,
it might be a problem related to a soft top panel which seems to damage
the display of Elfs. Search around the forums for a solution

Hey guys i found that when i have a low brightness set, especially on greey white backgrounds like whatsapp or empty chrome tab, i have a greysh vertical(straight from top to bottom) line on my S5.
Is that normal Should i go for warranty ?
If i set the britghtness higher the line isn't visibile.
Does any one expericence this ?

Maybe it's a burn-in in the amoled screen. A photo showing the problem would be great.

You can see it at the "be" word.
On the left is the shadow of my finger
Soo .... Can it be from the screen protector?when the screen is off i cant see air under the screen protection

It's a straight line so I don't think that the protector has anything to do with it. Even that's a rare zone, I wouldn't discard a burn-in in the panel. If you still are in warranty you shoud bring it to the nearest Samsung Service Centre. If you already lost your warranty, and you can't live with that line in your screen, you should replace you panel because that's definetly a hardware issue. Cheers!

Oh god, 100% sure i must start a fight with those from samsung, cant wait to hear how they will say they cant see any problem (angry)
Btw if they replace the screen i assume my screen protector would not.be replaced too?
i have broken my screen (touch amoled, all the screen) and i bought another one from ebay
looks original and arrived in a samsung service pack box
this new display have something strange in colors when the backlight is low, looks like...don't know how to explain but the colors are not perfect as they were with the factory screen...somehow a little bit green (always when light is low)
anyway sometimes now, like one time every week, after i while i'm using it, the screen go crazy and when i touch it, i see (developer, show touch dots) random touch around my fingers
some days ago this problem happened when i was in a call, me and my interlocutor, we heard a strange noise like bzzzzzrbrbzbrbrbzzzz when i was touching the screen, so there was the touch crazy problem and some strange noise when i was touching the screen
a reboot and everything is ok for some day....
i hope you had understood my poor english
opinions? what can i do? :crying:
ps. i have a 9506
It's probably a fake screen. That would explain your color problem and touch problem.

the screen resolution is correct and with high backlight the colors are perfect, looks like original on the front and on the back
how to check if it's fake?

today ive noticed a screen problem, under the screen around the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner ,thers a simbol like box or like battery under the screen and you can only see that on bright light
i upload a photo plz confirm the problem .
is this a new screen gate problem with s10+?
updatek for sure its the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor but why we start to see it under the screen ,will it burn the screen in time so we all see it strong?

It's normal
Normal and also present on optical readers too - Saw it on my Mate 20 Pro in bright light. Haven't seen it yet on my S10 Plus but im sure it can be seen.
This is not a issue or "screengate" thing - under screen readers will always been seen there till someone figures a way to hide them.
It's the ultrasonic sensor, it's normal for it to be visible against very intense light, it doesn't influence the viewing quality.
Unlike the Mate 20 Pro and other devices using optical sensors, there will never be a definite burn-in in that area since ultrasonic scanners don't need the display to emit light for a fingerprint to be readable.
I agree it's normal. I can only see it in direct sunlight on a solid background at a angle to purposely see it. It's definitely not the normal way I would use any phone.
thx guys i appreciate it !!! thread close !
