Yes Exactly like tat.. my friend, y is it kept like tat?
Thanks a lot.. am little relaxed by ur reply ..
i think it's called screen burns. regularity of pressing at the spot too often i reckon. but ey, its normal in all lcd screen. unless you'd want a crt screen for your xperia. but it is normal, don't wworry. mine aint yellow tho, mine is bright white lol
mine is not yellow, its actually bright white.
Pissed me off first time i saw it, but i got use to it now
Look here...
Check out these posts which all relate to exactly the same thing -actually not as obvious as you might think to search for, as its variously called screen burn, light leakage, even screen fade...

Hi guys, sorry if this has been posted, tried searching and couldn't find anything.
Anyways, I want to know something about the phones screen and I would like to conduct a little test.
Could you hold your phone in front if your face and turn the phone to your right (as you would if you wanted to show someone the screen full on who was sitting on your right) and look if the screen inherits a blue tint. Repeat this but to the left and see if the screen inherits a yellow tint.
It is seriously noticable on my device and I want to know if it is just me. Thank you.
P.S. I have had my phone for around a week and the bottom 1/3rd still has a slight yellow tinting. Any idea is this fades or is this just a dud LCD?

I have the same tinting effects when I angle the phone, it's noticable but it doesnt really bother me.
This has already been confirmed...mine does it too.
+1 another one here. It is a slight tint though nothing to worry about or notice, unless you are looking for the tint.
The viewing angles on this phone aren't the greatest if that's what you're getting at :/
Hello everyone
I just bought a galaxy s4 live demo unit and then i swap the motherboard , everything works fine but i look closely on the screen on white and other bright colors i can see some shadows on the screen with something that was once displayed on the screen , probably this was displayed a long time and somehow was imprimed on the screen , i don't know , i will attach some pictures , it is not so visible on that , but is quite embarrassing , on the upper part of screen it appear big "group play" and some strings , and in the lower part witch is more vissible i cannot read what it appear but is some text too whit some strings , the shadows appear like brighter color on the color that is displayed , i dont't know how to call them exactly, it is any way to resolve this without replace the screen ? why is this happening ?
I think is something common in demo units , i just see another demo with exactly same shadows , probably it is just temporary because both demo units are new with factory foil on them , and the shadows appears with both normal and demo motherboards , is there a way to fix this ?
It is called "burn in" I guess. Not sure how to fix it though...

Maybe it's a burn-in in the amoled screen. A photo showing the problem would be great.

You can see it at the "be" word.
On the left is the shadow of my finger
Soo .... Can it be from the screen protector?when the screen is off i cant see air under the screen protection

It's a straight line so I don't think that the protector has anything to do with it. Even that's a rare zone, I wouldn't discard a burn-in in the panel. If you still are in warranty you shoud bring it to the nearest Samsung Service Centre. If you already lost your warranty, and you can't live with that line in your screen, you should replace you panel because that's definetly a hardware issue. Cheers!

Hi everyone ,during the phone recharge,it was appearing a vertical green line at 4-5 mm on the left side of the display and I don't know what is it and what to do. I made a factory reset but no results. I don't know why but, that green line doesn't appear in a screenshot . It's a display problem or a hardware one? Can anyone help me with this problem ? Thanks a lot.
Probably a display issue ....which is hardware so screenshot will not show it as that takes picture of soft screen
What do you mean "soft screen" ?

He means the memory content which should be displayed on the screen.
This does not include physical display defects as in your case.
It's time for a new lcd, sorry.
Thanks for your answer but the phone is too old for a new display. I have to buy a new one, I think . Have a good day !
