Remove FRP on Samsung Galaxy A9 (SM-A920F A920FXXU2BSFB) - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi Everybody and thanks in advance for your help.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A9 (SM-A920F) running on official Samsung firmware version A920FXXU2BSFB. The device has been factory reset and I need to get past the factory reset protection.
I have tried using multiple versions of Odin on different computers to flash the stock firmware on the device but this has been unsuccessful either getting stuck at SetupConnection stage or failing at the Complete(write) stage.
Any help would be appreciated.
Many Thanks.

that's a long journy to by pass the FRP. youll combination file and specific firmware flashing tool not just the odin one.
Regards

You also need to add some of the stuff it is written in download mode and the log in Odin when in fails. If you went to 4.4.2 on N9005 you can not return to 4.3 (which you should have read by now, there are only 200 posts in 50 threads about it). What kind of N9005 was yours (16/32/64GB), what region/CSC?

Do either of you have a 16 GB version?
Hi All,
My problem :
I wanted to install the official kitkat rom but I made a big mystake : I took N900 files instead of N9005...
After that I successfully installed the right bootloader and CWM.
I installed some cuustom roms but the setupwizard crash at the last step
I tried to flash the complete official 4.4.2 rom but odin failed with message on the phone : "ODIN : invalid ext4 image"
Anybody has any idea to help me ?

After installing DBT NB4 FW ( or with Polish NB3 FW) my LTE speeds become almost 0.
I tried multiple installs.
Any guidance?
Quick tip: Uninstall KIES.
Kies is like a big brother.
Use ODIN 1.85 and tick update phone bootloader. That's how I fixed mine. The other versions of Odin wouldn't let me update bootloader.
Of course, before you do this Flash/wipe data in recovery mode.
But uninstalling KIES solved my issue.

[Q] Need help! Soft bricked GT-I9505 w/ wirte protection enabled

Today I tried to flash the official firmware on my rooted GT-I9505, but it failed along the way and now I'm stuck with the "firmware upgrade encountered an issue" screen. Tried recovering it using Skies but it couldn't connect to my device. Tried flashing it again but it now fails when writing into the device. Then I found out that it's write protected which I believe is the reason why odin could no longer write into it.
Is there still a way to recover my GS4 given its condition? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Noob - Rooted Samsung Note 4 randomly turning on and off

Hi ,
I recently rooted my Samsung Note 4 (running Lolly Pop 5.1.1) and about 5 days later it started turning on and off by itself. I noticed it only started doing it when I went to update the apps. Often when it self restarts it will get into a stuck loop, where it gets to the load screen, freezes, and re-starts again. The only method to get it to work again is to leave it with the battery out for 30 + mins and it always seems to right itself - except.. I thought it would be a smart idea to do a factory reset. Now it keeps getting stuck in the loop on the load screen of optimizing apps, and since this is a bit a of a lengthy process, it always resets itself now.
What can I do? Any help from experienced individuals appreciated!
Really don't want to brick a 4 month old $899 phone.
Thanks in advance people
Make a clean rom installation; download the latest firmware for your variant, clean dalvick, cache, system, and data. Then, flash the firmware through ODIN. After that, root with a custom kernel. If you have an N910C I recommed you this kernel:

Hi Bryan,
Samsung Kies will not let me do a latest firmware install, it just keeps popping up 'device not supported' when I try to do a software reinstall and upgrade via Kies on my laptop
Is there anyway to do this on the fly?
Thanks for your help

Visit SamMobile and register, then search the appropriate firmware for your phone variant.
Example: My phone is an Exynos-Note 4 (N910C) and my operator is Tigo Colombia which in SamMobile appears COL. You just have to register, search the firmware for your phone and flash it using ODIN 3.10. (ODIN is a program you use to install firmwares in Samsung phones) There are lots of tutorials for flashing, it is quite simple.

Cannot update a Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1

Does anyone know why? I just bought a Samsung Galaxy A7, and I cannot get it to update. I get a "Registering device..." window, then a "Processing failed" error. What does this mean? Why I cannot update it through normal means? I tried with Odin too, and it just failed instantly after the cm.bin file.
Thanks!
Edit: also, I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/development/advanced-seven-t3509237 How can I install it? I couldn't find any tutorials.
anyone?

Try to factory reset your phone and try to update again.
Odin is preferable for updating as it doesn't require your device to be connected to laptop for very long. (Just until the flashing is completed ).
The link that you posted, I am sure requires one to be on 6.0.1 base first & then can flash that ROM.
Try Smart Switch for PC from Samsung site...
You are better off sticking to 5.1.1, I have encountered several major issues after upgrading my A7 to Mashmallow!

[Solved] I9506 pit file for odin (pit mapping error)

Hello guys!
I want to install twrp on my Galaxy s4 advance (lollipop) and then LOS13, but Im getting the pit mapping error in odin. Can someone help me please? Will reflashing stock rom help?
Thanks in advance!
Okay, the issue was my data cable. I've read many posts about this, but I've tested 2 of my original Samsung data cables and none of them worked. At least, the 3rd cable worked. It was ECC1DU0BBK, probably from my old Galaxy S2.
