Helo all,
since two days I now own an Thinkpad Tablet and am happy so far. Only when ein plug it into my PC (Win7 64bit) via USB it is recognized but I still can't transfer files. When I open MyComputer in the Explorer on the PC I ca see the Tablet, click on it but then no files on the tablet show and I also cant transfer any. It then gives me an error: Device was disconnected or istn working properly.
Tried installin ADB Drivers form Lenovo, switching USB debugging off and on, no help.
When I plug it in on the tablet im prompted with the selection of just charging or MTP. If I choose MTP it makes the same Windows sound as if unplugged....
Any Ideas?
thanks

So I'm trying to connect my phone to transfer some files but I no longer get the USB method selection, the phone is only charging.
I also get a message from Windows after connecting via USB: "one if the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it."
I tried re-installing LG united mobile driver but it didn't work. any suggestions?

try a new cable
Hi all.
Trouble with my S5 SM-G900H!
I have a fresh install of Windows7 SP1 64bit. After connecting the phone cord (factory, MicroUSB 2) relatives in Device Manager appear strange device: "Conmeon Suspend", "CDC ACP", "CDC NCM". Set Kies3 through it put the Samsung USB-drivers. None of these devices is not defined.
After you connect to a computer on the phone is turned on and charging no more signs of connection to a computer is not.
In the "Tethering and Mobile hotspot", even when the cable is connected, item "USB tethering is hidden," written under it "No USB device connected."
Connecting to Windows7 32bit gives the same result.
After connecting to a computer with Linux on lsusb shows the device "Conmeon" and nothing else in the system appears.
Made a hard reset to factory settings - does not help.
How to revive the USB-connection?
Did you installed latest Samsung USB device driver??

Not sure about the G900H, but other variants use *#0808# to access it. Your settings there should be MTP + ADB & AP.

Big thanks!!! All works!
..
I've searched everywhere for a solution (XDA and elsewhere) but all solutions seem to not work with my device.
I don't get the RSA dialog to popup when I connect my phone to a PC anymore, and I can't work with ADB without this.
The device is shown as 'unauthorized' in ADB
"OFFLINE" in Android Studio
I tried different ADB versions.
I tried restarting ADB server, device and PC.
I tried using different PC's, with different OS's.
I tried different USB drivers.
I tried multiple USB Ports and Multiple USB cables
I tried deleting the ADB key from the PC.
I tried factory reset of phone
Absolutely nothing works. Other phones get connected to my PC just fine(Tried 3 other phones), so the problem is with the Phone.
It's like my device lost it's ability to be recognized.
Can someone help me out?
i have tried various type of usb and various type of pc but i couldnt connect the phobe to the computer... is there any way to solve this problem... i would be very thankful for the help
