OnePlus 6T ADB Sideloading error - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Hello everyone,
I am trying to install a custom ROM on my OnePlus 6T, as I currently have no OS installed. I tried ADB sideloading LineageOS through TWRP recovery, but it gives me an error: "* failed to read command:". I also tried using the ADB push command. But that did not work either, it gives me the error: "no such file or directory". My OnePlus 6T is rooted and has the bootloader unlocked. I also am in ADB Sideload mode in TWRP when I attempt the sideload if anyone was gonna ask.
Is it just a simple driver issue or what is going on?
I have trouble finding help online, so I hope you guys can help me find a solution.
P.S: I know this isn't the right board for this type of question, but I don't have enough posting history to post in the ROM and kernels board on the XDA forum. Kind request to the mods to move this thread there. Thanks.
Kind regards.

Have you tried things like
Rebooting PC?
Different USB cable?
Different USB port?
Ensured that you have the drivers loaded?
Make sure that the copy of ADB you are using is the latest?
What have you tried thus far?

U need latest adb files.... U r using outdated ones

Oneplus One with fastboot and TWRP functioning, but can't get a ROM working

I really need help, I have tried the following, having TWRP V2.8.5.1 functioning and Fastboot also.
- Through TWRP, tried connecting the PC so I can Flash a ROM from there, but I can't seem to be able to connect the One to my PC so it will let me transfer files through cmd with adb push. My computer is a windows 10 OS with Samsung drivers and Android SDK full installed, still can't get it to work.
- Through Fastboot tried flashing cm-11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-bacon.zip downloaded from Cyanogenmod page and using Oneplus One Toolkit 2.0, even though the Toolkit says the files are there, still phone continues to show 1+ logo and then rebooting.
Please I need some help.
Cheers. and thank you.
Why adb push when you can just copy the file over using a file manager (or a command prompt if you insist) and then flash from the internal storage?
I'm having the same issue but in my case I can boot into recovery or other stuff IF I HAVE THE USB PLUGGED IN
Maybe you can check and and let me know, if I found a solution I'll tell you, hoping the same from you please.

OEM unlock

I have the Chinese version of axon 7 and under development options I can click on OEM unlock then it asks for a pin number. How do I get that pin number?
Have you contacted zte customer service?
Please let me know how this turns out
I've been around these forums multiple times now and the ways that should work don't seem to work for me :/ Can't find a confirmed unlock of the Chinese version and am stuck on B13 while I wany Cyanogen.
If you go and sign up for ztes website and then go to the developers lounge there is a lot of talk about bootloader unlock. The way I read it you could have signed up to receive a pin number to unlock bootloader but zte has put that on hold? But are suppose to start it back up?
you can flash unlock bootloader in port 9008, I unlocked successfully by this way
@jiabing520a could you explain how?

Did you flash twrp ? Official recovery does not support adb.
If you have already flashed twrp, then open computer manager- device manager, you will see your phone doesn‘t work correctly (triangle) , right click on the triangle, and click update driver, then computer will fix this proble automatically.
Can not even get to flashing the TWRP, so stock recovery.
I want to backup the recovery.img in case i brick the device after doing
adb reboot recovery the device cant be found any more in the adb device list so nothing from that.
I tried to sideload it using the adb sideload but the same
it`s saying waiting for device and stays there even when i`m trying to send a file to the device.
Ok little update.
tried to downgrade but getting the error footer not correct and unable to verify.
Normaly saying you can disable this using the TWRP system as i cannot even get the bootloader to unlock.
So i cant get TWRP installed on the device.
If anyone knows how to downgrade the b13 to the b10 so we can use the tools provided in other posts
Please help how further .

waiting for device...you should kill adb process first, and then reconnect your pc

if you want to downgrade the b13 to the b10,maybe you should use official recovery
If you can explain how to downgrade using the original recovery please i have tried sideloading
and placing the rom file in the location reserved for update etc.

Hello Mate,
I am in the same situation as you. I have been looking all over the internet and came across a Chinese forum. Apparently, it is possible to unlock and root B13. However, I have used Google translater to translate the page. It's hard to understand the steps. I have not tested it. But maybe someone out there will have a better understanding and could give it a go. Here is the link

Sideload issue

Hiya. I managed to unlock bootloader/install twrp and root and went to see if i can put it back to stock.
When i try and sideload the stock firmware, my pc wont recognize adb while it's in sideload mode but it does in normal state.
I also get these errors (see pics)
I have tried installing all the drivers/changed usb ports but now i have no clue what it can be.
Any help please?
Thanks
PS. Using Windows 10
I'm having the exact same issue and I'm also really interested in a solution for this. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and switched USB Ports. The device gets detected without any problems in fastboot mode but as soon as I switch to Sideload Mode in stock recovery, Win 10 shows me this error and doesn't detect my device for sideloading.
Temporarily I could flash TWRP and sideload the zip via TWRP and cmd but I would also like to be able doing it without TWRP again.
Thanks in advance.
Can't anybody help us?
Just download the latest Android Studio software it contains the last ADB driver, i had the same issues after installing reboot, and ADB sideload will work !

TWRP ADB Sideload no devices found

Hello!
I've been having some troubles with using sideload to flash zips with TWRP on my Huawei P10 Plus VKY-L29.
When I start up adb sideload from TWRP, my device doesn't even show up in windows device manager.
Here's the version of TWRP I have installed: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10-plus/how-to/twrp-p10-plus-t3587792/
Things I have tried:
Different USB port
Different USB cable
Different Computer (2x)
Different OS (Linux)
(I would try using CWM but I can't find one for P10)
I've tried googling for a solution but what comes up are either things I have tried or thing that don't work for me.
Does anyone have a solution?

If using Windows, manually update the driver from internet by opening the "Device Manager".
