Lg G6 touch not responding - LG G6 Questions and Answers

Lg g6 has back panel from glass and under it you have contact for fingerprint sensor.Somehow if the back panel is loose it can cause touch fail, and you cant use the device touch function!
--->FIX:
So you will have to turn screen off using back button, and then try to press back glass on left and right side of the camera lens !
Then simultaneously press the power button and try to use the touch .
If it does not work tru again around camera lens and turn off screen each time you press the back glass!
For me it worked !

display wake up

Hi all,
i sometimes notice this problem on my omnia 7..
when the screen is turned off and i press the middle button the screen is not turning on.. i have to press it again or press the power button.. anyone experienced this problem?? any idea what can it caused?? I do not have any apps installed..
Thanks..
I have the same, sometimes the middle windows button will not wake the phone up.
When the middle button refuses to wake up the phone the camera button also refuses to wake up the phone and go straight to the camera app. I need to press the power button and then the camera button.
Annoying.
Do you guys know the term "it is a feature" when something in reality is a flaw - well in this case it really is a feature
If the sensors notice that the phone is in a complete dark surrounding it assumes the phone is in a pocket. Therefore it not wakes your screen up and also the camera button will not work. You can test this if you hold your thumb over the sensors next to the speaker strip.
Should your camerabutton not function in a bright setting, it is of course a different situation.
What an easy and clever answer..
Thank you very much.. next time i will think more.. OMNIA 7 rulezzz
Aaaah clever stuff!
Superb thanks

[Q] Omnia 7 Home Button responsiveness

Hello all,
I have a question regarding the Samsung Omnia 7's home button and its responsiveness. I've heard some say that it's not very responsive, and that it takes a few presses for for the device to respond. Is this true? How responsive is the home button?
I've been using it for 2 weeks now and have no problems with the home button
Sometimes I have this issue. Thinking about sending it back for repair if the problem persists/gets worse. Curious fact: If you press hard at the bottom of the device, while pushing the windows-button - it won't react at all.
Make sure that you are not covering the light and proximity sensor..
You can experiment it by placing your hand on top of the phone and press the home button.. You will notice that the screen doesn't turn on!
That was it. Covering the light sensors at the top right disables the home-button. Very understandable given that you don't want it to turn on in your pocket.

But isn't that the point of having a lockscreen? what are the chances of pushing the home button, and sliding up the lockscreen in your pocket?
The power button wakes it up even if the sensors are covered, so it seems having this feature on the home button is an unnecessary annoyance.
For what it's worth...I don't want to have an empty battery just because something in my pocket pressed the home button and the screen lit up.
This feature is good -why should I press the home button when the proximity sensor is being covered?
Sometimes the home button is not responding at all. Only a reboot helps. Anyone with similar problems and a solution? Or is this a wp7-bug.

Read the posts above.
It's not a bug. The home button will not react if the LIGHT SENSOR is covered. It's designed that way, so if the button is pressed in your pocket your phone won't turn on and waste battery.
Try in a well lit area and do not cover the sensor at the top of the phone. The home button will work exactly the same as the lock button then.
If the sensor is covered, the home button won't react. If it's not, then the home button will.
End of story, moving on...

So in theory, if you are in a pitch black room, your home button will not turn on the screen? Don't think so.
........It's not the light sensor, it's the proximity sensor.

Sorry but that is simply not true (so not end of story....) I actually just tried to lay down my phone on a table and then cover the whole top of the phone with my hand (also tried with a piece of thick paper) so the sensor is covered. Then I tried to press the Home button, well it still works on my Omnia 7. I always return to the homescreen or my turned off screen will turn on - even with the sensor in the top covered completely - but what I cant is to scroll in the tiles or anything on the screen (sometimes), seems the sensor disables all my touch on the screen, but not the hardwarebutton Home in the middle - if you dont believe it, I could create a video of it.....
EDIT HERES A VIDEO:

I've had such a problem ... the home button not responding ...
also in conversation I could not hang up call, just a black screen would remain. Only remove the battery worked. when I got the jig, I put the new software and have no further problems

[Q] need help with my touch screen. tmous hd2

So recently i start flashing and using langthang's MIUI roms and keeping update and flashing all his new release rom. so couple day ago all of the sudden, i don' know what causes it and how it started it. my red button on far right. pressing it turn on and off the screen.so now when i press it to make the screen go back on from off mode. after i pressed the button the screen light turn on and the lock screen is there but when i touch the screen and try to move the ring(pyramid lockscreen) up to unlock, but the ring is not moving, it like there is no touch screen ability to my phone's screen.
but when i use the green button far left, the button usually to use phone. that button doesnt turn off the screen but it just turn on the screen, this button is working normally. i can move the ring up to enter the main screen.
the screen isnt cracked or any thing, but i do have a protection layer over it which been there since i got the phone and never got this problem before.
what do you guys think my problem is and how can i solve it?
thank you!

water photo problem

Friends who shoot underwater or something on the phone when I entered the water I didn't get a photo, opening recent apps, How do you do it you could help
capacitive buttons locked underwater ?
You can open the camera with three quick taps of the Home Button if enabled, which most of the time come enabled by default. Also, the volume rockers on the phone can be used to take pictures. It's normal for the capacitive screen and buttons to stop working since water activates the "whole" thing.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!

When the screen is displaying the static looking screen, cover the camera and proximity sensor, then hit the power button. Once both the main screen AND second screen are turned off, remove your finger form the sensor and then hit the power button to turn it back on.
As far as getting into TWRP....pull the battery/power off the device. Hold the volume down button, then hold power button until you see the LG Screen. As soon as the comes up, release the power button while still holding volume down, then press the power button back in.
Thank you so much!!!It worked!Thanks!!
