Hi all!
Now that the Nintendo Switch can run Android and the os seems to be able to recognize the Joycon without Lag problems as in other Android devices. Do you think is possible to inject somehow the switch settings on a Samsung Note 9 to make it work lag less?
Another possible source to fix this could be the coding on Google Stadia as they announced Joycon would be compatible with it. Any thoughts?

Does anyone know if its possible to say pair a nexus 7 to a JynxBox or PIVOS XIOS DS as an android to android input?
The reason I ask is that JynxBox and the PIVOS do not come with physical keyboards and I would have to add a USB keyboard to have any sort of typing going on.
In general is it possible to use one android device to act as a keyboard for a 2nd android device?
Thanks.
AW: [Q] Nexus 7 to be used as an input device paired to an Android Set top Box
It's not possible without major tinkering. I tried it a few months ago with my old HTC Hero. I built a CM7 kernel and then tried to activate the HID gadget driver, but that disabled the Android gadget driver. So I gave up. But it sure would be nice to have.
Do these devices have network connectivity? If yes, there might be solutions.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get OTG support added in Android Wear? I am using a Lg G Watch and I know the idea probably seems ridiculous but I have a project where it is needed. As far as I understand this should be possible because the chipset (msm8226) is in other devices that support it. I am suspecting that Android Wear doesn't support the api's though and am running into trouble trying to compile cm12 for my watch. Any other ideas would be appreciated!
Hello everyone. I tried to pair my dualshock 4 via bluetooth to my s10+ and i had no luck making it work. Then i tried with cabel and it worked but there is a mapping issue. Pressing O is recognized as X. X as Square and square as L1. Does antone have an idea how to fix it without root?
Need root to change key bindings. You can change the buttons within some apps, but many still won't work well.
Thank you Ace. Do you think this is a problem from googles end given the fact they just included the files with pie. Or it might be a wrong implementation from samsung? I dont have another pie device to test. If its samsung i can try reporting the bug and hopefully have it fixed with future updates

There are two PS4 controllers. V1 and V2. The former relies on x input, whereas Android seems to side with d input (XB1 controller) like Windows.
With the controller and OS supporting different APIs natively, key presses aren't interpreted well on every phone. Some devices have everything assigned correctly, but the S10 isn't one of em. I'm not sure Samsung is concerned with compatibility. Ofc feel free to submit feedback or email them.
For what it's worth, this is the only Pie phone I've had luck with. Neither my Pro 3 nor z2F acknowledge the DS4 over OTG. Haven't tried it on my Note yet.
Thank you very much. I hope they do, as i got dex station as well with the hope of playing some games on the screen(rayman!) ))
Hello all. I've got this tablet and i like it a lot. I've been perfectly fine with it on stock use.
The thing is, I use the ps4 remote play a lot and for it to work with the PS4 controller the android version needs to be 10 for some reason.
Is there a way to make this tablet version 10?
Thanks!
I am trying to turn my shield tablet into basically an android TV box. I am trying to get Prime, Netflix, and Cinema apk to play on tablet and cast to Roku box. I used to be able to do it no problem. I do not know what changed. I am running Triodexe 15.1 Lineage. I am trying to cast to my Roku Ultra. I know your devices have to be on the same wireless network which they are. If it isn't the tablet doing it the only thing I can think of that possibly changed is ROM and now my wireless network just has one network name for both 2.4 and 5. This new router just sets up one network and prioritizes devices automatically for which network the device will use. As far as ROM I cannot remember which one I had it working on. Is anyone else able to confirm casting is working on this app?
Update - When using Lineage I could not get my PS4 to connect via Bluetooth. This was in addition to not being able to use the cast button. I ended up finding a solution to the casting problem. I downloaded Cast to TV-Xcast from the Google play store once it was setup I was able to detect my wifi connection and get it setup. I decided to experiment trying get the PS4 controller working. I seen Magisk actually has a module to add support for the PS4. I installed it and it did not work. Therefore, I decided to try another custom ROM. I am now running ASOP 6.7 with Pie Android 9. I still have the cast problem on it but my controller now pairs. So, it took some monkeying around but I solved those issues.
It seams like we have a couple good ROMs for this device which are close to working perfectly and then the people building them stop. I know Lineage had official builds of 14.1 and 15.1. Somewhere there has to be on o hei builds floated around that is stable. Then, the proper patches can be applied to it. I have tried looking into building images myself but that is over my head. I have a PC I just built that is more than fast enough. I have a Ryzen 7 3600, 32gb of RAM, and more than enough SSD space. I wish someone could connect to my PC and remotely build images, or they could remotely help setup my PC and show me how to do it. Then, I would keep the forum updated with new builds. If I could figure it out I would help out building images for other devices as well.
