The speaker phone is fantastic
I would give it a strong 8/10 for sound considering it's size
Is definitely I good improvement over the tab S4. A lot more depth and low end , nice and loud
The sound quality is vastly improved over my old galaxy tab S - yes, I know that's not saying much since that sucked (I don't think I ever listened to anything on them).
Sound quality from Google music is nice (again considering the speaker size/location).
These are the best speakers I've tried on a tablet to date. Spatial mapping is good, and better than anticipated. I also like the strength of vibrations produced.

Speaker-phone Quality
The speaker for calls is clear and allows for higher -db output then most phones ive owned. The speaker-phone itself is not loud enough in some cases of everyday use for me. I use speaker phone when washing dishes most often and it was loud enough for that, but barely. The sound quality depends alot on your service connection. I thought it was tinny in 3g and average quality in 4g. Not anything to get excited about and easily the worst aspect of this phones performance so far. .In regard to the speaker-phone being quite i consider it a etiquette feature. I thought i saw an option to make it louder but i cant find it now. I did just do an update so perhaps its been moved.

The speaker and the inconsistent camera are the main drawbacks in my view
It gets decently loud, but compared to the pixel 3, the quality through all the range is not there. Maybe the worst flagship speaker of 2019.
The headphone jack disappoints as well( I get low volume and lack of detail even with high quality speakers). But using a Pixel dongle on the USB C improves the audio a lot.
For some reason i find my p30 speaker sounds lower compared to my p10. Which i find odd

Can we expect Stereo speakers this time from Oneplus atleast in 7 pro version?
Should we expect the echo problem that seems to have plagued OP devices since the dawn of tine to finally be fixed?

Coming from Samsung S7 I can say that speakers for OP 7 Pro is clear and loud. Mids definitely have a priority here, so the sound is neutral and there is no "over-the-top" bass. At maximum volume the sound doesn't have any kind of cracking, I'm really happy with it.
Although my review is short I hope this was somehow helpful, because there isn't any review for the sound quality.

After upgrading from a Galaxy S7 I can safely say these speakers are amazing. It has one front-facing speaker at a slight angle on top and one down-facing speaker. The volume is incredible and can happily fill a room. I haven't tried yet but I would even think it would be usable in a very loud environment like a party. As for quality, they sound fantastic. Listening to music is wonderful and I can hear every instrument played which is so pleasant. The music fills a room easily as well which is a bonus. For gaming, the speakers are fantastic for hearing enemies coming which does give a significant advantage (overall the phone is amazing for gaming and gives a serious edge with 60fps low latency gameplay). Overall, absolutely wonderful speakers

I was kind of surprised I thought it sounds better than My A71, at least to me it does.
I know samsung has never been known for their sound quality but this does sound a bit better, but It's no flagship quality.
Sound is quite loud in terms of general usage but can be completely muted with fingers on the speakers grille . Dual speakers for this device should have been given like the s9 series.
room for improvement via update for bass or something. Nevertheless they provided Dolby Atmos in headphones at least with improves sound in headset by miles.
More loudness needed.
Speaker is not upto the mark.
It should be more louder.
