Amazing tablet!
Upgraded from Tab S4, and damn what a diffrence in responsivness and speed.
Soo much better.
Love the thinnes, just like the Xperia Z4 and Z3 tablets, so thin.

Few days, so far found these defects:
- again classic Samsung poor fingerprint, but even worse than S10, face unlock is poor
- very ugly maps on gray color background and low brightness, proven by color test. Annoying since all OneUI in night mode is full of this color
- wifi signal worst in a decade of flagships
- very laggy, touches don't response often e.g. need to press a button 3 times

Do you have a screenprotector on it? The wrong one can/will worsen touch sensitivity and fingerprint recognition...
I have a glass one on it and while fingerprint sensor is worse now (fine for me before) I don't mind too much as I use face unlock (which works good, not perfect). Responsiveness is excellent here, no issues with any lagginess. S10+ fingerprint was perfect for me btw, very responsive (the s20 is worse atm but I guess will improve as well).

Yes I do have a glass. The sensitivity improved a lot by firmware update. The fingerprint is classic S10 style, with 20% success rate. Can't match Xiaomi oř OnePlus quality at all. Face unlock same success rate. But the worst was ugly display. Got rid of both Samsung devices and now looking for a new tablet.

I think it's a great tablet, but with some unbelievable deficiencies, especially since it's Samsung's flagship tablet.
- Whoever designed the pen attachment is the world's biggest idiot. I can't believe this silly design even passed the straight face test. Without a case to protect it, you are guaranteed to lose the pen before you can even say, "WTF?"
- The fingerprint sensor is a sick joke.
- No 3.5mm jack is silly on a tablet, especially since Samsung's lesser tablets have it. C'mon, you can't tell me there's no space for it on a tablet this big!
- No flash? Seriously, how expensive would it have been to add an LED flash? I know that historically tablets never had great cameras, but this tablet has dual rear cameras, so the absence of a flash is puzzling. Look what Apple just did with the camera on their new iPad Pro!
I would also add that most Android apps are not optimized for tablets. But that's not Samsung's fault.
I'd say I love this tablet, but the above deficiencies drive me nuts, especially the fingerprint sensor and the pen situation. I'm gonna find myself forced to use a case, but then it won't work with the POGO dock I plan to purchase or the K480 keyboard I already have. Grrrr!
On the plus side, I like the 16:10 form factor much better than the iPad's 4:3.

Very good HW and very bad SW because it's made for phones not tablets. And only for old phones because the basic features like download booster, WiFi hotspot, vibration feedback are missing. So the device is made without any love and commitment

Thank you! It worked indeed I don't know why but I was thinking it's working as a mobile hotspot means with mobile data only. Just checked again and it's working with WiFi only too

Yes the Samsung S6 Tab is an amazing tablet but not quite as good as the new Ipad pro 4 but still an amazing Tab from Samsung

The Tab S6 is definitely an improvement! I've had a few Samsung higher end tablets throughout the years, but the iPad always had better performance, so I gave up on buying the Samsung tablets after I bought the Tab S3. The Tab S4 price was too much for what it offered compared to the iPad. The Tab S5e I don't consider a high end tablet. The Tab S6 has been excellent! The Tab S7 is expected to be announced early next month.

As much as I love this tablet, it pales in comparison to an ipad.

Wonderful display, great battery, no bloatware.
So far nice, I have experienced few times the phone becoming so hot when I am using under Mobile Data. Battery Backup drains fast on Mobile data (5 hours approx), overall performance is fine.
I love it! <3
I really adore the handling and the performance. Especially I was lucky to get 64 GB model There's just one little flaw: The fingerprintsensor is pretty moody and sensitive to dirt. So I need often to clean it before I can use it.
It's not a flagship nor does it pretend to have high performance for gaming but still, it get the job done. Most of the time, apps are launching quickly without lag, you may get a small delay with bulkier app but it's not that bad. I once played with an iPhone 8 and it appeared to have the same kind of delay when launching bulkier app. Our Galaxy A8 is doing good compared to an iPhone! Most importantly, build quality is great. Coming from a crappy LG G5, I can see how good is the Galaxy A8, it's built like a tank compared to the LG.

this reminds me of a Techmaster PEB song called "computer love"
Well... Was badly after A50 and so I got one last week. Long story short I am pulling my A8 out from the drawer and will be my daily driver again. During the week of using the A50 was not impressed as much as I expected. The A8 has more pros...

Samsung Galaxy S9 is a new experience
Just had a chance to use review unit of s9 . Camera and sound has some improvement but really disappointed that battery is still same size and has not changed since s7 ... S7 edge camera is still very much capable and if u just want to upgrade from s7 or s8 for camera then its not worth it in my opinion

Well, the cpu efficiency has changed... more ram is added, so 3500 could actually work out definitely better than s8 plus... which isnt bad on battery,
The Galaxy S9 is my first Android Phone and I switched from an iPhone 7 to it.
This Mobile is absolutely Genius. I just love it. The Dual Sim Option was the reson for the switch but after 2 days I can say I love all the features the Galaxy S9 has. I can recommend a switch to everyone.
Dual SIM? is it the regular device?

Dual sim is a special version of the unlocked model (or maybe the standard version of the unlocked one, I haven't checked this year). You are able to slot a second sim in place of the SD card if you want to.
After 2 days, I can say I am really impressed with everything except the battery life, and I know that will get better as it stabilizes and I am not tweaking it constantly. I am especially impressed with the new speakers and the Atmos surround - the best movie sound I have heard on a phone yet!
I got the mobile from my carrier and they said they only have dual sim phones.
Love it!
Switched over from an iPhone 6S. I borrowed a Pixel (original) and then a very old Droid Maxx (painful!)
First 48 hours with the S9 Snapdragon have been really good, I think I actually prefer TouchWiz over vanilla Android Oreo on the Pixel.
Hardware quality is outstanding. I'm in love with the screen. AOD sounded like it would waste a lot of battery but doesn't seem to. It's really useful and keeps me from turning my phone on all the time to see if there are messages.
Bixby isn't awful, but I wish it worked with Signal for messaging. I will have to see if there's some way to make the two work together.
My biggest gripe is that annoying `high volume` warning that can't be disabled. I'm streaming to my car, the signal is supposed to be set to 100%.
Yes it is love, it is possible to love a phone you attached full day and night
It's soooo gooood! I came from an S6 so the improvements are nuts. I was asking myself if loving a phone was possible just yesterday

That right there is a loss of sale for SAMSUNG from me. To this day, it is my most annoying feature on my current phone. I want to punch the idiot who put this feature on the phones with no option of disabling.

Coming from an S7, and the phone is a whole other thing, from design, speed, Infinity screen, etc. Really liking it so far!
Coming from phones like the HTC m8 and lg g5, I'm loving the Samsung rom. I do a few things to my phone such as get rid of the stock keyboard for the Google one, trash the stock launchers and do something like Nova or evie.
Things I find to be improvement over the phones I had before are the screen, sound, cameras, vibration feel, look of the phone, the water resistant rating, and the list could go on.
Battery life for me so far has been great. I know coming from an s7-8 might not feel like a large jump but compared to other phones it's a great choice.
One thing I don't like so far is knox. Every other phone I had has been fine to root and keeping features no problem.
Got the s9 last week. First Samsung phone. Kept away because of the infamous lag of touchwiz until a friend told me lag has gone after oreo update on his 8+.
Had a fully customized 6p before. I can't believe how good this phone feels. Nothing wanting and I no longer have the urge to unlock and root, something I've always done straight after getting a new phone.
There's also a promotional 2 year warranty period. Amazing. Tried the plus but don't get the affinity I have for this one.
tl;dr loving my S9
Finally pulled the trigger last week monday and got myself an S9 unlocked. Also helped that my local Best Buy was tossing in the Gear 360 for free with purchase. I also purchased a Speck Presidio Clear case for the phone but the coral blue is really nice when the back isn't smudged to the point that I'm running the phone naked: the only case I'm using for it atm is a microfiber sunglasses sack which I slide the phone into when pocketing it and place the phone on top of when setting it down on something like a table or countertop. Helps keep the glass decently clean and pretty much minimizes potential foreign particulates in my pockets scratching the glass.
That being said, this is the first phone I've had where the honeymoon period for me went by as fast as the end of the 2nd day of having the device.

Definitely! If you use your phone a lot it can be one of your best friends. Good camera, great design, right usability. I believe there is a million reasons why you can love your phone.
It's not love, it's attachment
You cannot love an inanimate object, you can however become so attached and reliant on one that you cannot imagine being without it, but it is not love
If you really 'love' your phone, you need locking up
I "loved" my S7, but the second I got my S9 I sold my S7, if I really loved it, I would still have it, I would still use it, I would carry it with me everywhere, I would think about it constantly, there would be no way I could allow a stranger to own it
Not love, attachment, which instantly dies when it is upgraded to a better model
Hi all,
I've upgraded from an S6 to the S9. The current trade-in promotion got me convinced, I've got a recycling discount on the S6 and a carrier discount so that smoothed the deal.
I was positively surprised by the lack of bloat on the device, it even let me choose which apps to install during the setup. I disabled all the Samsung apps. The usual bloat like Onedrive, Word, Facebook, Dropbox remained.
Its an EU device, so Exynos and ISOCELL, but I'm quite satisfied.
My S6 served me 2 years and should've been able to serve longer if it'd stop overheating, hence the upgrade. Looking forward to having the S9 for at least the same lifespan.
Like the phone and everything about it, EXCEPT that the battery sux bigtime.. I'm coming from a Huawei with a much larger battery and the S9 isn't lasting one day at all..

Overall this tablet is incredible. The speakers are great, the screen is crisp and not to mention huge. An incredible device priced just a little too high
Not worth the money. I am very disappointed with the rams. My note 9 has 8 GB ram but this tab only comes with 4 GB and no option to increase the ram like the note 9.
This tablet should have had 6 GB then it would have been worth the money.
Right now I got 600mb rams free and if I startup the DeX then I don't know how it will work.
Just haven't had the chance to try DeX yet as I am working non stop for 14 days on 14 hour shifts but after 14 day I'll report back.

And a little too heavy. Looks like I will be keeping my Tab S 8.4 for reading
Had mine for a week now and have been using it pretty much non-stop. Screen is superb for video. Have the keyboard cover too and it has been useful for doing some work emails and stuff. Used Dex for a few days until the novelty wore off. Having said that will use it occasionally when docked to a bigger screen. Yes it's heavy and yes it's expensive.....but I still love it.
I do love it overall. Big and beautiful as a tablet, while cute and compact as a partial laptop. But i am also disappointed like many people that it did not have more ram. I had apps crashed and hanged on DeX before

apart from size, how clear is text on S4 compared to S 8.4"? I have a S 8.4" and use it 95% of the time for reading kindle and google books, and wonder whether that with 25% fewer pixels per inch, clarity of text might be reduced on the S4 compared to the S 8.4".

Even though the screen has lower ppi it's still an awesome display. At first I was noticing lower ppi here and there. I guess I was looking for it as I don't notice it any more. Text is really nice and sharp, you shouldn't be disappointed. The reason I've kept S 8.4 is it's size, it's an easy one hand device unlike S4.
S4 is awesome!
Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk
I think it is a mixed bag. I moved from an S2 to an S4, and there are multiple things I miss
Pros: processor, internal memory, video resolution, pie, battery life, speakers at all corners
Cons: Screen aspect ratio (too tall for books in portrait mode) , not enough ram for dex, no thumbprint sensor, no wireless dex, mirroring sucks
Yeah, the aspect ratio is better for movies, but I mostly cast video. Likewise the speaker location is much better, but I mostly cast or use head phones.
I won't be going back to the S2, but I miss it sometimes.

Just got my S4. Unicorn edition straight from Samsung South Korea!
6GB RAM / 256GB Storage / LTE / FULLY UNLOCKED! It works as a phone, with the phone and sms apps enabled. ZERO restrictions on this!
Pics up on instagram @RDA1074 will post some videos too!
I'm going without a physical PC for a week to check this out! I'm putting down my XPS 13 QHD i7 2-in-1 (9365) so....let see!
I needed something to replace my Tab E so purchased the Tab S4. I don't think they gave us value for the cost it was to buy it.

How does one look into getting one of these and is there a wifi only version? Thanks!
I am very pleased with it. A family member of mine recently bought a 6th gen iPad and the Tab S4 is way more capable! (but also quite a bit more expensive. I use Dex alot in combination with the Samsung keyboard case. The S Pen is useful, but is too light for my liking.
The verry best of my owneds devices, only one bad point, i'v still no succes on rooting it.
I had both ipad pro (1st gen) 9.7 and 12.9 versions, sold them both and got a used S4 tab. So far really liking it. I used ot have a Note 9 so I'm used to the software. My phone is a P30 pro which is superb but the software sucks ass. Samsung software is on a different level from Huawei, it's not even comparable. I think atm Samsung software is better than apple products. The battery drain is a bit fast for me, but since I live in Korea I can always get the battery replaced at the Samsung service center for around $17 usd.
Comparing Tab S6 and Tab S4:
- S4 has slightly better display, with less backbleeding
- both tablets cannot be authenticated in a modern way, fp / iris / facelock are almost unusable
a) S6 fingerprint is a classic samsung joke since they moved fp reader under display
b) S4 intelligent scan is unsafe as it takes whatever authentication gets processed first.. iris OR face
c) S4 iris or faceunlock don't work in dark, and are in fact much worse than S6 fingerprint
d) S4 won't provide biometrics to apps... you simply enter the era of entering passwords by hand.. this is huuge disappointment
e) so there's another option: Direction Lock. this is a less secure pattern lock unfortunately it's first tier auth (it can't register on top of password), the best model would be strong base auth (password) + medium to strong comfy auth (iris AND faceunlock) but no luck here.. and again, it's not registered as biometrics. i don't know why Android recognizes only fingerprint as biometrics - bad
- both are slow, S4 feels like 10year device with its lags update: got much better when disabled proca why this is not disabled in kernel
- S4 can be rooted much better, no combination of keys needed to boot.. full safe setup twrp, kernel, xposed+xprivacy+xedge, encryption, no boot keys needed
- both have HDR playback, even if brightness is not enough..
- human control is painful:
a) you can't touch buttons when pen is accidentally close to the screen..oh my god..so many mistakes with this
b) the hardware keyboard is withough backlight so it's almost invisible, and the screen brightness won't help.. very painful keyboard.. i threw it away already
c) when using hardware keyboard, there will be accidental touches to screen..dialogs will be cancelled.. really annoying
d) i hate when i cannot dismiss notification menu by touching around it
e) pen doesn't slide on the screen easily.. it's not the same feeling like Note9.. it's almost difficult to move it around (new tip..a Lenovo pen would slide easily)
f) the expensive keyboard cover attracts fingerprint dirt like nothing else. crazy how it gets more dirty than glass!
- wifi reception is poor
- sound is fantastic... i despise all 3D, Vipers and modifications, but 4 speakers with Atmos sound so good in movies.. clear dialogs and atmospheric background sounds go beyond ears
the S4 tablet is good for media, games. Both are nowhere near producitivy and speed of modern mobile phones. Since i hate the keyboard and even stylus, the Samsung benefits are partially gone. I wish it was easier to control, snappier.

How someone can love a phone without knowing specs yet?? ??
sams galaxy s10+ with aosp and headphone jack please , in black.
I don't think I have loved a phone since my Note 5 lol, although the Galaxy S7 Edge came close
First impressions based on the multitude of "leaks" and other speculative articles I have come across... I really wanted to get excited about this phone but I can not. That hole punch display- two holes for the S10+, I just can not fathom liking. I do not need a thousand cameras- hell, I have NEVER used the front camera yet on my S7E. All the other gimmicks/bells/whistles do not impress me nor do I have a need for. And nothing can justify the price (USD $1,000+).
The only phone I love is my S7 Edge. I wanted to love the Note 7 until that damn recall hit. My S7E has NEVER let me down, does everything I ask/need it to do, and looks brand new. Now that it is rooted it runs even better. Based on the specs AND RICIDULOUS pricing of the S10 I will likely just keep using my S7E until it dies.
For a anniversary flagship I expected Samsung to really knock one out of the park. Of course we know Samsung really does not support/appreciate flagship owners/devices like they did years ago so it is no surprise that their innovative spirit has died out. Now it will really show why their mobile device sales are plummeting.
The S10 is going to be a major flop for Samsung. Sales will suffer as did Apple's iCrap phone which, coincidentally, is being heavily discounted in select markets. No wonder other brands are gaining customers.
Once I see it in person..... but for $1200-$1500USD, I'd rather wait and see.

Legend says - one shouldn't love a smartphone, else one will become a fan of a particular model/brand. And fan-ism is a disease of a smartphone owner who thinks the one he's owning is the best of the best from every aspect
i am not happy about the pricing
i think about jumping to Xiaomi
Awesome Device
Pure speculation at this point but based on concurring rumours the S10 looks to be an absolute beast, more phone than most will ever need. The pros over the S9 are much faster processing speeds, bigger battery and display, in display fingerprint reader, 5G in the 2nd release, a bevy of specialized cameras, larger internal and external storage and on the high end model 12 GB RAM. It would seem to have no real competition but there are two glaring cons as well. The camera cutouts marring the display and it's price. Those who are willing to drop a stack will be in play however in the current environment with smartphone sales on the decline I would be surprised to see the S10 meet Samsung's expectations. I was strongly considering the S10+ with 8Gb RAM and 512Gb internal memory. I would also wait for the 5G variant available sometime later this year but price rumors suggest the 4G variant will exceed $1,400 USD. Likely the 5G will be priced even higher. To be frank, I'm not sure any smartphone is worth that much.

Another glitch in the rollout is having to wait a few more months for the 5G variant. Who will be satisfied "upgrading" to a 4G device costing $1,000 plus?
From the leaks it seems Samsung is putting together a real solid showing. Really interested to see how new software offerings on the device come together.
According to leaks galaxy s10 is the first phone from samsung which has hole punch camera on the front and s10 plus has dual camera for selfie and inscreen fingerprint sensor. Between three rear camera for s10 and s10 plus. maybe battery capacity slightly bigger than the previous samsung galaxy s9.
As per the leaks, Samsung is going to announce 3 phones for this S10 series. S10E, S10 and S10 plus. S10E and S10 will be similar specs, only thing is different that is battery capacity and display size. Those who are thinking about the pricing will goto S10E.

I can't wait getting an S10 Plus. I too would like the 8 gig 12 one but depending on price I'll be fine with the 128 one all I have now is 64 on my 9 plus and I just got a 256 card back on Black Friday I am saving to put in the 10.
Atlast the official ad is out the device looks sleek and hole in display looks clean.
Exciting times, won't be long now for these sweet devices!
Phone looks great, but $1000 price tag is not gonna fly in most territories.
Still using my rooted s7 edge. Would love to upgrade to a bezeless phone. But I'm not liking the hole in-display thing. I'm either going with Xiaomi mi mix 3 or hopefully they'll make a truly bezeless display with the note 10 . If the rumors are true, they are thinking to put the selfie camera on the S-Pen. I hope they put the front camera behind the display but I think it's too early for that tech...

I wanted to get the green which is not available in US and 512 is only offered in ceramic black or white. Don't understand the evil mastermind behind these decisions Samsung makes..

Overall love

Yes, yes, it's possible to love a phone. Heck, you sleep next to it, don't you? Rate this thread to indicate your love for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite, all things considered. A higher rating indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is an incredible phone that you enjoy tremendously. You love it.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
I switch from the Samsung Note4 tot the Samsung Note10lite. i have mixed feelings about this step. The Note4 is a great phone, To me the best phone ever made. Unfortunately, it broke after 6 years. I choose the Note10lite. It's much much faster then the note4, battery life is great, The stylus works better then the one on the note4. the three camera's are nice The downsides (to me) are, Android 10, I jumped from Android 6 to Android 10. In the beginning I thought I bought an Iphone, The look and feel is almost the same, and I hate IOS and love Android 6. Further I miss the IR transmitter and the possibility to change the battery like the note4. The phone is too long in compare with its width, A disadvantage of all modern phones. Also the tweak ability is worse. Every morning I he refuse the biometric authentication and I have to login again. I search for hours to get rid of this behavior , without result.
Great
I can say I love it! No phone is perfect but it can be perfect in many ways, so I can say I love it yes. Having a great time using it.
