Volume control on bluetooth headphones no longer controls Android media volume - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Sorry for the terrible title.
I have the Oneplus Bullets Wireless. When I use the volume buttons on the Bullets, the media volume on my 6T doesn't change. Instead, only the volume on the Bullets themselves changes. It didn't work like this before, so I'm not sure why it changed. Before, if I pressed volume + on my Bullets, the media volume on my 6T would also increase.
I have tried forgetting and re-pairing the Bullets. I have tried disabling/enabling absolute volume under Earphone Mode and under Developer Options. Nothing helps.
Any suggestions?

Volume Control on Original Earphones

Hi,
Are you supposed to be able to control the volume from the earphones on the HTC Touch HD? I have my headphones plugged in and when playing music every time I press the button on the earphones it does nothing, or if I press and hold the button it tries to voice dial. Although the button seems to toggle I cant see anyway of adjusting the volume.
You cant. You can use a bluetooth A2DP headset which usually has its own volume control (not remote control for the winmo "mixer") but then you'll sadly get worse sound quality

Volume up/down long press next/previous track?

I'm currently using playerpro which I love but can't find an answer to track selecting using volume up/down. It doesn't work within playerpro, neither does jays sound control or Physical button music control under Xposed.
I did use Gravitybox which worked but it messed up volume control settings. Basically notification volume changed to alarm volume. No idea why but needs fixing.
So how can I change tracks using volume up/down on my phone and headphones when the screen is off?

Volume up problem with earbuds

Hi.
I had this weird problem earlier today which was solved the same way it occurred; it just happened for no apparent reason. So I was listening to music through my earbuds and its volume controls were working fine. After a while I noticed that the volume wouldn't increase when I clicked the volume up button, but it would decrease when I used the volume down button. So I unlocked my phone before trying to adjust the volume using the earbuds and for some reason volume up turned on Google Now instead of turning up the media volume.
I tried to uninstall updates and turn off Google Now but that didn't help, I also restarted the phone which didn't help either. After I managed to deactivate the app the volume up button didn't give any response at all.
So I ended up just leaving it like that, but when I tested it a few minutes later it worked fine again! Just like that. I didn't do anything! I was listening through Spotify like I always do.
What kind of sorcery is this?

Get full volume on Global version of Axon 7.

Hi, I noticed the other day a way to get duplicated the volume in a AXO 7, I have a global version (europe). Here is what I do:
First, I only manage to do it with Poweramp alpha. You need to have any headphone with remote plugged, ensure the hi-fi mode is on, set volume at 30 or 40%, then play from Poweramp, volume will be low, pause with the headphone remote, and play again with the headphone remote, and the volume literally double.
It might be a glitch, but for some reason when you pause and unpause with the remote of the headphones, the volume increase a lot, first time I almost damaged my ears, as the volume was already set to 80%, I needed to reduced it to 40%.... I tried this already with a Sony mdr-1a and RHA-750, with both happened the same.
Hope it helps.

BT volume no longer linked? BT devices can't control system volume anymore

So for as long as I can remember, my launch day OP5 has responded to BT volume changes (e.g. I turn the volume up or down from the BT device, speaker, or headphones, and the volume level on the phone is adjusted). Recently, I've noticed that this is no longer the case. I have tried both enabling and disabling that Developer Options > Disable absolute volume, but haven't been able to get back to the state I was in before.
I've tested with my Jabra Elite Sport headphones, and my Tribit XSound Go... But neither of them will make the phone volume level change...
