except that WMDC does jump with an error telling me that cant find the wizard...
Sorry ... i'm a spanish spoken ... the error says "Can't sinchronize. If this situation continues, try to delete and create again the device's sync profiles"
BUT as you can see in the main WMDC, everything is working fine:
(My name is Christian by the way... )
Off course i tried to delete the profiles in both sides ( PC and wizard) and hard/soft resets for about an hour without results... i have conection to install/ transfer stuff... and a backup of my contacts, but if synch stuff works fine it'll be 10/10
A minor probles is on the HW keyboard... seems to be in a a different software layout, or whatever thing means that fn+key produces different symbols than expected ... .just a tweak away to solve....
other thing that i noted right now while i speak... its the screen rotation when the slide out keyboard it's open... did't happen !!! the screen does not rotate at all.... a'll see the settings or something...
everything but this.... my device is flying now, fast an reliable, and in my language... thank you very much for your hard work... from the spanish side of the force...

same error... hard reset, pc restart, 1 headache later.... hehehehehe ... saw a activesync fix on the post on original rom (the base rom of yours) but install and softreset caused various error (poutlook.exe app not valid, ilock.exe app not valid) and the phone shows no signal at all ("no service"), probably because phone.exe was considered not valid app I think :/
hardreset solved this fix issue
staying with the rom off course... to keep informing

What IPL and SPL do you have...Mine are 2.18 both and have no problem connecting by activesync....

Bug de ultimo minuto!!!: acabo de darme cuenta que el boton de comm manager no esta asociado al administrador de conexiones... y en las opciones no esta ninguna aplicacion asociada a comm manager... para mi no es problema porque yo lo acceso a traves de la pestaña settings, y siempre asocié ese boton a mi lector de libros iSilo... pero es un problema despues de todo...

last Minute bug !!!: i just realized that the comm manager botton are not binded to comm manager.. .and in the options there is no comm manager at all... not a issue to me because i access it via settings tab, and I allways associated that button with my ISilo book reader... but a issue after all...

Buenicima la ROM lo unico malo que le he encontrado es que el internet explorer no se activa desde el home pero igual lo demas esta de 10 gracias por el aporte....

Disculpen, trate de poner la rom en una qtek a9100 Modelo wiza100 todo ba bien hasta que se reinisia solo sale la primera pantalla y des pues se ba a la pantalla de colores. que se podra hace?

si anda, solo que tienes que poner con WST o con shelltool, porque asi garantizas que la rom no pise tu ipl/spl inutilizando el telefono convirtiendolo en un lindo pisapapeles.

Excelente Rom amigo unos cuantos detalles como por ejemplo el tiempo y agregar mas ciudad y el google maps, esperemos que lo soluciones pronto ya que para mi es la mejor rom que le e puesto a mi cingular 8125 todo funca perfecto y rapido+

Hola amigos, esta muy buena la rom, solo que tengo un problemilla con la sincronizacion, no puedo sincronizarrrrr, he probado en 3 pcs distintas y no logro sincronizar, en mi pc el activesync estaba funcionando como si sincronizara pero al final me salio un mensaje que habia errores y no sincronizaba nada, en otra pc nisiquiera reconoce el dispositivo. Hay algun bug o algo que pueda reparar o solucionar este problema ?, mi equipo es una qtek wizard 9100, tengo como 85 contactos y no quiero ingresar uno por uno, aunque lo hiciese no podria sincronizar nunca mis archivos o tareas con mi pc.

Hola , mi nombre me presento , soy de El Salvador, tengo instalada esta excelente rom y es buenisima, solo que no he podido configurar la pestaña del tiempo , cuando doy click no se pueded seleccionar ni escribir el nombre de ninguna ciudad , sera que tngo que instalar algun programam del tiempo , tengo una diamond y en ella no es necesario , gracias y saludos.

Hi all,
I hope this ROM will help everybody who wants to install WM, but is not good enough in English to feel confortable with a phone in the Shakespeare language and want to work with the Cervantes one
I made my first attempt of cooking my own ROM and I'm glad to say that it has been fortunately successfull. Based on Keyx's ipaq 91x 28011 - WWE Kitchen and using the Language Localization Packages 28205 release from Da_G and the Hp official spanish files, I finally got my longed Windows Mobile 6.5 in Spanish.
Wifi works, bluetooth, phone, gsm, 3g... everything.
I also installed successfully some programs as Spab shell, mobireader, MemMaid, skype, youtube, facebook... so everything works.
Total Commander, Xtask and some other programs non included into the Hp's original version are already installed. I edited the folders at startup menu to put in all default programs in; quite elegant

Flashear el aparato es peligroso. No tendria porqué pasar nada. De hecho, mucha gente lo hace, incluido yo; pero lo haces por tu cuenta y riesgo.
Flashing your device is dangerous. Nothing should happens, since a lot of ppl, included me, do it; but you do it by your own risk.
Instrucciones para flashear:
De los links de abajo consigues un archivo .zip. Lo descomprimes y tienes el .dio. Éste se mete en una tarjeta de menos de 2 gigas (si no no funciona, porque no puede ser sdhc) y ponemos el telefono en modo sdloader con la tarjeta dentro. Para ello hay que pulsar Vol+ y tecla Ok lateral y apretar reset sin dejar de soltar las otras dos teclas. Luego, el chisme hace una serie de cosas y acaba haciendo un clean reboot. Después de todo el proceso, aparece una pantallita azul y unas instrucciones que si se siguen, llevan a la pantalla de inicio de WM6.5
Instructions for flashing:
What you get from my links is a .zip file. Decompress it and you have the .dio file. Put this file into a less than 2 gb sd (sdhc won't work) and put your device in sdloader mode. This happens pressing together volumeup + ok and pressing reset releasing the two vol and ok buttons. After doing this, the device checks the file integrity, flash to your device rom and do a clean reboot. When is finished, it ahould autoreset, but if not, it will show a black screen for a long time. Is then when it has finished, so then make a reset and your device will have installed the WM6.5!! Folow the instructions and that's all

Después de hacer una actualización desde una mala Sd o un archivo .DIO corrupto, hay una manera de volver a la normalidad. Se necesita:
DNW (archivo Include Driver) http://www.mediafire.com/?zmnmzmwnjtk
El archivo FLASH.DIO con el que se quiera resolver (preferiblemente el de Hp original; entrar AQUÍ, bajar la actualización de la ROM de unos 60Mg, descomprimir con WinZip el archivo .exe y renombrar el FLASH.NBF)
A continuación:
- Abrir el DNW.exe, [Configuration] => [Option], cambiar [Download Address] desde 0xc000000 a 0x3000000
- Renombrar FLASH.DIO (ó .NBF) a FLASH.nb0
- Poner el chisme en download mode: VOL.UP + OK + Reset
- Enchufa el teléfono al ordenador y selecciona manualmente el driver a instalar (los archivos están en la carpeta SEC)
- Volver a DNW.exe y [USB Port] => [UBOOT] => [UBOOT] y seleccionar Flash.nb0

After doing a ROM updrage from a bad miniSD card or .DIO file, there is a way to bring it back. You need:

Your device's Flash.DIO file (preferably the Hp original one; go HERE, download your ~60Mb actualization file, unzip the exe file and rename the FLASH.NBF)
How to:

- Rename FLASH.DIO (ó .NBF) to FLASH.nb0
- Bring your Device into download mode: VOL.UP + OK + Reset
- Plug your device in the PC, and manually select driver to install (files are in SEC folder)

program not shown on start screen because in wm the start menu path is localized, so you need to change the path either using localized language or use unicode escape character xNNNN where N is a digit. check the initflashfiles.txt/dat

The truth is that I didn't have enough free time this week to continue fixing the ROM. I'll try to do it now and continue all the time possible. After all, this ROM fix MY ROM problems .
I'm fixing the initflashfiles.dat and seeing if it works. Probably after that is going to not to do strange things at startup.
I prefer only 3 columns at the start menu and some other things that comes with the v1.0, before changing the initflashfiles.dat, so I'll see how is going this new ROM and i'll post the results.

Estoy arreglando lo del initflashfiles.dat a ver si funciona. Probablemente después de esto ya no haga cosas extrañas en el inicio.
Prefiero sólo 3 columnas en el menú de inicio y algunas otras cosas que aparecen en la version 1.0 antes de cambiar el initflashfiles.dat, así que voy a ver cómo va esta nueva ROM y escribire los resultados.
PD: A alguien le interesa que siga posteando en ingles/español?

I finally got it, I replaced the initflashfiles.dat with Da_G's buuut it doesn't work properly. I mean, the startup problem is fixed, and everything seems to be ok. But there are some key shortcuts which don't appear, and keyx programs are still not shown.
The truth is the appearence seems to be more... pretty
So I'm completing the initflashfiles.dat. I'll post results.
Norax v1.10 ESP WM6.5.3 build 28011 iPAQ 91xc

I've made another ROM, and this time I organized all initflashfiles.dat document manually myself to let me compare if the hole system is properly installed.
Everything works : ) But you have to edit the appbuttons manually cause there are some of them which don't appear at startup. So I'll let that part of the initflashfile in English to see if that fixes the problem. Is not important cause anyway is a non translated part of the sys by Hp.
In fact this ROM is more Spanish that the Hp's They let some parts in English that i've translated, jeje.
There are some programs I've included at the start menu that in fact i didn't include in the SYS, so I'm deleting them to clean the ROM.

Important: It seems that the usb connection is not activated by deffault if you come from an already installed windows conecction in vista. Is fixed simply entering in the Configuración\Conexiones folder and activating in Usb a Pc the "habilitar funcionalidad de red avanzada"

By the way, about the Norax v1.30 I tested tonight, everything works, all folders are ok, and only rest a problem with the registry of showcase and total commander. I hope with the new version I could fix this. But I don't know at the moment how to do it. I'll post results : )
Por cierto, que anoche probé la Norax v1.30 y todo va bien, todos los archivos y carpetas funcionan correctamente, y solo queda resolver un problemilla con los registros del total commander y el showcase. No se aún cómo resolverlo, pero pondré los resultados de mis indagaciones : )

Norax v1.40 --> I've remuved the Marketplace and My phone, cause I don't use it. I can make versions to let you have it.
And I've changed the initflashfiles to make showcase and total commander work from the begining. If this doesn't work, I'll remove both programs, cause is easy to install after installing Windows.
I'll upload only the final retail versions, cause by the moment the 1.3 works almost like 1.2

Final arrangements
I've made a Norax v1.41 to include Grabadora at the multimedia menu. It doesn't matter if works or not from the multimedia menu, but it makes it work from the appbuttons (at 1.30 y worked, at 1.40 I removed it and it stopped to work) and I find it more useful than nothing : )

Firs 6xx attemp
Well, I made a first version o f the ROM
The v1.00 was not well finshed, cause something happened with the initflashfiles.dat. As I think the ROM should start and run just with the original file, I changed the rest of things and let the initflashfiles as was, with the few files in the OEM_Lang_0409 but changing the name to OEM_Lang_0C0A.
I hope this will work, but in any case, I'm now trying to build with the Hp's 614c spanish ROM to stact the spanish files and file system : )
Till now, it should work in every 61x devices, but I'm not sure how it would work in others. Since I have nothing but an iPAQ 914, every field tests has to be taken by you guys. Report problems or things to to be fixed and I'll take it into the ROM.
I upload the Norax 6xx v1.10, which should work, but with somethings to fix or to translate:

Soy de Puerto Rico. Les escribo en español pues no se inglés, para entender los foros uso el traductor de Google, pero cuando lo uso de español a ingles se pierde mucho el sentido de la oración. Espero puedan ayudarme a entender un poco más esto de los ROM en Androide. Tengo una T-Mobile Galaxy Tab Hace unos días. Llevo mucho tiempo cambiando los Roms a mis teléfonos. Comencé con un Tilt de ATT, luego un Pro, luego Pro 2, etc. Ice algunas cosas con el Vibrant, pero no entendía mucho. Pero si me ayudan tal vez pueda ayudar en algo, pues tengo algo de conocimiento en electrónica y comunicaciones.
En ODIN.
1-Que es el PIT y que es lo que hace?
2-Que es el PDA, Creo que se refiere al ROM como tal pues es el archivo de mayor tamaño, pero quiero estar seguro.
3-MODEM es lo mismo que el radio?
4- Que es el CSC y su uso?
5- Que es el DUMP y cuál es su función?
Tengo la versión Euro y corre de maravilla. Le he probado varios MODEM incluyendo el de él VIBRAN Original, pero este hace las llamadas pero se escucha muy bajo el sonido. Tampoco he logrado conseguir data, aunque si tengo plan de data en mi servicio. Sé que el EURO solo corre E y no 3G, pero ni siquiera E. Alguien podría decirme que plan de data de T-Mobile US debo tener con mi plan de voz?

I write in Spanish because it is not English, to understand the forums use the Google translator, but when I use Spanish to English will lose a lot of the meaning of the sentence. I hope you can help me understand a little more that the ROM in Android. T-Mobile I have a few days ago Galaxy Tab. I have long Roms changing my phone. I started with ATT Tilt, then a pro, then Pro 2, etc. Ice some things with the Vibrant, but did not understand much. But if you help me maybe I can help with anything, because I have some knowledge in electronics and communications.
In ODIN.
1-What is the PIT and what it does?
2-What is the PDA, I think it refers to the ROM as such it is the larger file, but I want to be sure.
3-modem is the same as the radio?
4 - What is the CSC and its use?
5 - What is the DUMP and what is its function?
I have the Euro version and runs great. I have tried several modems including the Original VIBRO, but it makes calls but you hear very low sound. Nor have I managed to get data, even if I have a data plan on my service. EURO I know that I just run and not 3G, but even E. Could anyone tell me which data plan from T-Mobile U.S. I have with my voice plan?

Could be wrong on some of these but here we go.
1. The PIT file contains partition information. I think.
2. PDA pretty much is the ROM.
3. Yes the modem is the same as the radio.
4. I have no idea what the CSC does. Sorry.
5. I have no idea what DUMP does either.
Right now T-Mobile is filtering the use of certain SIM cards based on the IMEI of the device. I don't know if this is just in certain areas or if they are filtering all service areas but in order to do it here in hell with a SIM card that is on a smart-phone plan you would need to change the IMEI of the device to make it avoid their filter.

[Q] Messaging issues with KitKat

Hi,
I have an unlocked LG G2 D800 and I have tried three different stock based roms (have not tried ASOP based) and in all the stock messaging and all sms apps show me a message "Unfortunately, Messaging has closed" tried flashing every which way and no matter what the app closes, anyone get that on an unlocked device with kitkat? if so, did you fix it?
I am not very versed with logcat but I the only message I see that pops up that might be related to it was

Factory preset and wipe cache.
I just did this. I was using a Flex rom and restored my 4.2.2 Verizon stock rom without wiping. It was crazy and took several resets to stabilize but messaging wouldn't open no matter what.
Factory reset in TWRP and just setup as new, and no problems

Catire, I realize you also live at Venezuela , there is a lot of posts in a spanish forum about this problen and most of them posted by venezuelans with our 3 providers and G2's, I am almost sure something is not working in the general KtKat settings regarding our country that makes messaging crash. Should be interesting in what file or files are the settings you posted from your log.

I've tried many ways to flash, reset , factory restore and no matter what the app closes as soon as I attempt to send a message or receive a message. 4.2.2 works fine as soon as I try 4.4 it stops working.

My phone came from Sweden. I have documented the issue to them. They will have a look and will answer as soon as posible. I will keep you posted !

Yo también tengo el mismo problema en Venezuela y la única forma de enviar mensajes en el G2 con KitKat es instalando TEXTRA desde Google Play

Yo recomiendo quedarse en la version 4.2.2. El software de LG esta minado de bugs. Se vé que sacaron el Kitkat para que medio funcionara. Para muestra vean los log de su equipo. La telefonía está configurada para algunos países de America, no todos. No solo la mensajería esta rota, la telefonía pasa trabajo para conectarse.
Para los que añoran la batería del kitkat, les digo que eso es un mito. Yo decompile el archivo LGSettings.apk y tenía un typo en el manifiesto que impedía que el wifi entrara en modo de ahorro.
En fin. Creo que no vale la pena actualizar el equipo y menos con la calidad de soporte técnico que tiene LG.
Yo puse mi reclamo en LG Nordic y al genio se le ocurrió decirme que cambiara de operadora de telefonía. Cuando le dije que entonces por qué me funcionaba la mensajería en 4.2.2 con ese operador, simplemente me ignoró para siempre. Buen equipo, mal software y pésima política de respaldo al usuario. En LG Venezuela ni siquiera disponen de un equipo para probar y lo más que logran hacer es montarte un ROM anterior para no dejarte a pie.

Vamos a hacer guarimba a la LG y enviamos un comunicado a la ONU. Jajajaj
Nada mentira si tocará volver a instalar 4.2.2 por que la verdad no noto diferencia.

SMS LG D802 VENEZUELA - Solucionado
Para aquellos que se encuentran en Venezuela y tienen problemas de envío y recepción de SMS con la última actualización a Kitkat, les informo que finalmente he logrado poner a funcionar el equipo.
Se trata de sustituir la aplicación /system/app/LGTelephonyProvider.apk que viene en la ROM instalada con la que viene en los equipos D805. La misma se consigue directamente extrayendo la aplicación del kdz que viene en los equipos de Brasil.
En este vínculo puse una copia.
Pasos a seguir:
1. Hacer root al equipo siguiendo las instrucciones indicadas aquí.
2.-Instalar Root Explorer
3.- Poner el archivo bajado en el directorio /sdcard/Download
4.- Con el Root Explorer ir a la carpeta /system/app y renombrar LGTelephonyProvider.apk a LGTelephonyProvider.apk.old
5.- En el mismo Root Explorer copiar /sdcard/Download/LGTelephonyProvider.apk a /system/app
6.- Eliminar LGTelephonyProvider.odex
7.- Cambiar los permisos para que queden así:

A few questions about Galaxy S7 Sprint variant.

A few months back i had bought a Galaxy S7 SM-G930P. It is unlocked. I am from Uruguay and i use it with Antel brand.

First of all I want to talk about an issue that I have since I bought it, which is the "Samunsung DM Service", a very annoying notification that appears in my phone everytime I turn it on or when I change from WiFi to 3G/4G service. I have read about it and if I am not mistaken this notification appears because I use the phone with a line that is not the original one, Sprint. And maybe the only solution is to root the device to freeze the apk.
In second place I have another issue in reference to 3G/4G service. Like I said I use it with Antel line which is the bigger telecommunication company here in Uruguay and they couldn't help me.
I have my phone in 4G mode, but when someone call me or I want to call, it doesn't change to 3G so later I usually receive a message from a lost call.
The only solution I could find is to force my phone to stay in 3G, because is the only way that it works properly.
I have noticed that when I change it to CDMA, Automatic or LTE, I can not choose my phone line;
I mean, the section "Operadores de red" (line) appears in grey color and I can not select it.
Maybe it is an issue with the uruguayan line, but I have the doubt so if you can help me it would be great.
One last topic.
I have read about a 930U rom which works in any S7 device. If it is true, which are the changes that my device will suffer?
Maybe it helps me with that notification problem that I mentioned first. But if I do it, it will lock my device? Because like I said, I use it with a foreign line and I am afraid to lose that possibility changing the rom.
If I change to this rom, what I have to consider? Because I'm new with this and I don't wanna mess my phone.

Sólo tenía el problema de la notificación, el 4g me funcionaba bien.

lo del dm service lo solucione con package disabler lo desabilite y se arreglo te pregunto con el firmware U ya tienes la opcion para compartir internet? y cual instalaste la version sprint cdma o la unknow ?

Probé instalando la versión Sprint CDMA y no me dio ni un drama, todo en cuestión de 15 minutos. Solucionó todos los problemas que tenía y comparte Internet sin problemas. También te deja desinstalar todas las apps que le pone Samsung encima. Saludos.

Su ayuda, no tengo el icono para activar y desactivar los datos moviles, ademas no puedo hacer zona wifi para compartir mis datos a mi laptop u otro dispositivo, segun se es debido a restricciones de SPRINT xq ellos son dueños de la version, su ayuda que no tengo idea que hacer.

Hola, mirá yo tenía exactamente el mismo problema que vos y flasheando la rom U se solucionaron todos los problemas.
Acá te dejo la guía. Saludosss.
Edito: igualmente el asunto del ícono de datos móviles lo había solucionado instalando Good Lock que es un UI oficial de Samsung.

KINDLY reply. Please I need help.
I was using My S7 Sprint And Everything was fine and the next morning I woke up to Searching for service. It was on latest official Firmware 7.0 nougat ending with QC1.
I tried all the other firmwares. But still searching for service then I got back on my original Firmware which was 7.0 Nougat ending with QC1. Still searching for service.
I cannot select GSM/UMTS from mobile network it won't let me. Its stuck on automatic.
I tried *#0011# service mode and it says MIPI device fail
PLEASE HELP ANYONEE !!!!!!

Yo tengo un G930P el cual está liberado porque vivo en México y lo uso con Telcel, Si actualizo a G930U perderá lo unlocked? Luego del G930U se puede rootear?
