Got an LG 540. Was on 2.3 CM7. Used KDZ to downgrade to stock 2.1, but forgot to wipe cache, user data etc. Now phone is in bootloop and sticks on Android logo.
Only thing I can do is enter Download Mode. From there I can reflash a ROM but whatever ROM I flash it always sticks at the Android logo. Can't access recovery mode to wipe cache etc. Am now on 2.1 rom with fastboot but of course that doesn't help because it doesn't boot up.
Any way of getting my phone to work? Advice extremely appreciated.
well if you can enter fastboot mode you shoud just flash any 2.3 rom
can you get it into fastboot mode ?
if yes you can wipe it via PC.
If not you have to install 2.1 via download mode

Thanks to those who helped, I really appreciate it. I just used my phone warranty to get it fixed (restoring the old boot and recovery image file first). The downside was that I waited to months for 2 months before I can get my hands back on it... . Thank you again very much
Hey Guys,
My Phone is completely stock and i have not installed any firmware but last night my Phone suddenly entered a boot loop which woke me up.
At that moment i just pulled the battery. But this morning my Phone wouldn`t start anymore, it just shows the logo
What i tried:
Boot into recovery: No go, it just displays the blue text booting into recovery
Normaal boot: No go, just shows the samsung logo.
Tried emergengy recovery via samsung kies tool: It ends succesfully with the same result, no boot
What else can i try without voiding warranty?
I want to try anything i can before sending it back to the store because that will take a few weeks before i have a phone again

If you cannot reach either download mode, recovery or boot at all, then something is really wrong.

If you can't get to download mode you have a brick, plain and simple.... It either needs J-tagging or needs to be fixed by Samsung, either of which will cost $$$...

thanks to all of you i will go to samsung service for repairing it . but i am wondering they wil know that it has been rooted if i did not tell them
If you have a good personal insurance, it can probably take the price of your future repair.
There are chances that Samsung knows that you changed your computer .... Samsung will want to know why their device is dead!

the major problem is that the phone keep rebooting every 10 to 15s from the boot.

I shorted capacitors by following this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/lg-g2-unbrickable-fix-real-hard-brick-t2904404

I don't think that is a battery problem because i tried the motherboard in another working g2 and gives me the same behaviour.
about the boot-loader, i think its unlocked, twrp recovery was installed before.

no.
the phone reboot every 10s.
if i try to put him in download mode (volume up) he goes straight to fastboot mode and reboot after 10s.
same thing for the recovery mode or normal boot.
i have to unplug the battery to stop the infinite reboot.
anything in your mind????

Hm... I haven't any idea how to fix this bootloop...
Well this is my first post here.I flashed cm 14.1 on my devices with gapps through twrp.I managed to get to recovery with the adb drivers (as I mentioned I have a broken button so pressing Volume Down+Power+Home won't work).Everything was ok but due to the critical bugs of this rom (was still in development) I decided to downgrade to cm 13 which had less bugs.So I tried getting into recovery but everytime I gave the command in it would reboot to the system (not even in stock recovery). So I decided to flash the stock rom with odin and then try entering recovery mode. After flashing I actually realised that I f*cked up cuz I couldn't wipe the system data/davik cache, due to the fact that my home button is broken and so i cant access my stock recovery. Now my device is in bootloop...I already have a usb jig and it will just make it boot into download mode where i cant really do much.Any help would be appreciated.
