Same Loudness like S10+ But S10+ Sounds like Better compared to Note 10+.
On the N10+ the bottom speaker appears to be slightly louder. This is apparent at high levels. I suspect this is accounted for in its speaker design: the top speaker doesn't have the benefit of a big grill.
May I ask you guys where you were able to test this? Was this at Unpacked? What kind of environment were you in when you tested it? I hope its better than the Note 9 because that about half the volume of my iPhone XS. Barely could hear people unless at max earpiece volume, and playing music over the speaker was almost pointless unless in a super quiet room. Thanks!
definitely much louder than note 9, just upgraded from it to 10+
Not much but it is louder and with reacher sound. Spotify, phones near each other and same song resumed on bouth phones (best test for loudnes for me)! Btw I have note 10 (not +) but as I saw, bouth are the same with speakers.

much louder than my prior note 9 and s10 plus.
It's not the speaker phone quality thats an issue for me, it's the earpiece for taking phone calls. If your in a noisey enviroment, there's no way to hear the call, it's all low frequencies and no top end

Unfortunately P20 doesn't have stereo speaker like Pro version and sound is just standard and average and nothing special.
Unfortunately i didnt know about it before i got my phone ;_; this suck. Mono speaker is terrible

For me it's sufficient. If I want more I hook it up to my jbl charge 3.
Sound coming out of the single speaker is kind of thin but clear and loud enough for talking head videos and games. Bass is almost completely lacking, but hey... Use headphones for music.
Loud enough, but muffled sound (low clarity). The Honor 10 even with single grill has better clarity in my opinion. The only real downside of P20 sadly.
I have to disagree with everyone here and say I believe the speaker to be very good. I've owned all the latest flagships including P20 pro, s9, iPhone X, one plus 6.
The speaker in my opinion is very good for a single speaker. It's as loud if not louder than many and the depth and range of sound is good .
Obviously stereo speakers would be nice but this does not do bad for a single speaker.

Do you suppose that I have a defective phone since even without comparison to another phone (such as the Honor 10), I can tell the speaker sounds relatively unclear and muffled, especially in low-medium volume.

Is it me or one of the last update greatly increased the stereo on the speakers? It was really not good with bad balance at first, then after an udpate the quality was horrible with noise in the top speaker, but a week ago I forgot my headphone, I was surprised how good the stereo was. Almost perfect balance with good clarity and quality.

no I always had a good sound but with the dolby activated Otherwise I had a big difference in volume
I bought the Xperia when it first came out and was disappointed at the quality of the speakers. They sounded really tinny with lack of mids or depth even with atmos on and were not that loud.
In comparison the Samsung note 9 speakers were way better but only since Samsung phones are tuned by AKG which is now owned by Samsung, but like beat audio for apple.

don't know if is juts me, but lately I perceive low sound on both speakers

Well.. it's dual speaker, the bottom speaker is loud and clear but, the top speaker isn't that loud. So, it doesn't really give stereo experience

Have you changed the speaker settings with the wizard? Give that a go! I've seen a reviewer change his, and after the change, he liked the way it sounded.

Exactly, i increased all those pointers in custom Equalizer. Omg...now its more louder and the outdoor sound is much more louder. Loving it more
How does this "tweak" compare to the ROG Phone II's supposed amazing front facing speakers?
Hey guys, I was wondering if that stereo speaker setup(?) really has a good effect for listening to music compared to a front facing stereo speaker setup like the Axon 7?

Like to know too. How's the earpiece volume, i mean can you hear a soft speaking sound when you put the phone 50cm in front of you?
It's pretty good in my opinion, my ears are not very good so I can't really tell the audio quality that well but it's plenty good at its price point. Gets loud enough to fill a room and doesn't get tinny even if you turn it all the way up as far as I can hear. Besides the fact that it's easy to cover since there's only one port it's good enough if you're not an audiophile.
Can confirm audio is excellent. Even with Galaxy Earbuds Plus!
Definitely a big upgrade from my Oneplus 3!
It's louder and sounds better.
Can't say something about the earpiece, because I didn't use it a lot
Using it to call other people or checking some Youtube, it's really loud en pretty clear. Distortion is from the speaker itself is at normal volume OK. At higher volumes it is a bit worse.
Good to know, the whole phone acts like a soundbox. So it sound like it has Stereo, but hasn't. Because of this the whole phone vibrates.

Mediocre speaker
Probably my least favorite part of the Wing is the speaker. Unlike the LG Velvet, which sounds great, this single firing bottom speaker is not good. Lacks overall volume and depth.

I agree.
I really wish it had better speaker \s .
I was impressed with the speaker after reading these reviews. ( I read these reviews prior to purchasing the phone.)
Loudness is just fine for me. I used to have an LG v20 in this is louder and more crisp when talking on speakerphone.
The Sound is not that bad. is only that is not the same Quality of other device in the same price Range. is going to do the job but can't compete with the top dogs of that division (sound).
Try Volume Booster by GOODEV, this really helps to boosts the volume in LG Wing
The speaker volume is low compared to other phones and sometimes I don't hear phone calls when I'm outside, this is frustrating.
