The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a crazy crisp display. Just kidding, this is automated text so who knows if this screen is any good. So, you be the judge! A higher rating indicates that it's extremely sharp and clear, and that you cannot see pixels with your naked eye.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 | 10+ still sticks with 60HZ refresh rate. Compared to other phones it's quite expensive and not having 90fps...... That's weird.

They're probably saving 90/120hz for S11. When I spoke with a senior employee they said big changes are coming for the next model.
Too expensive. May be in 4 years

Has anyone found a way to lower the Smaller Note10s resolution to 720p?
I have the smaller Note 10 with the lower resolution, and I honestly can't even tell. The screen looks so clear and crisp that it almost appears to be fake.

Lord almighty! Definitely the most beautiful display to date!
Surpassed my beloved Note 7 in every respect. Good riddance to my interim Lg V20.

picture perfect
I can tell for sure that Note 8 has the best display I ever seen. I purchased a Pixel 2 XL last week and couldn't keep using. Already sold. Comparing my Note 8 with Pixel 2 XL, displaywise, made me regret of boughting Pixel.

Because he much prefers the screen quality of the Note 8, like he said!

I would like to be able to dim it more also.
I actually kinda like its minimum brightness
minimum works fine for me i turn it down all the way when in bed at night and never hurts my eyes

Maybe I'm just spoiled from my galaxy note 4 since it would go both dimmer and brighter.. I mean it's not bad, I'm just used to dimmer, and wouldn't mind dimmer. but it's a mid-range device, not a flagship like the note 4 used to be ?*

I order mine today, excited!
97.5 out or 100. Great tablet. Have the 3GB RAM wifi version. Snappy. I like the responsive laminated screen a lot. Wouldn't mind a few things tweaked with Miui 9 like notifications and LDAC isnt working for me. But otherwise it is a great buy for the price. Hope it gets miui 10 soon and that fixes the tiny things. Build quality is high. Speakers sound nice. I'm on official stable Miui build. Great aspect ratio for browsing, physically holding it, and watching videos.
Do note despite the 8" screen this is very very close to the beloved Nexus 7 (2013) -- 0.2mm higher and 6.3mm wider but a bit thinner 7.9mm vs 8.7 mm which results in the overall volume being 4% lower. Yet, the battery is an unusually big 6000 mAh vs the old 3950 mAh -- there's barely anything else in there but battery. (Same screen resolution too.)
Purchased it to replace my deceased Nexus 7 2013. Overall I like it, screen is significantly bigger and bezels way thinner. For me personally the biggest downside is speakers location. They sound much nicer when they are on the opposite side in landscape mode like in Nexus. Also I don't like its grip, it is heavier and more slippery than my previous, tends to slide out when you hold it in one hand. Yes, TPU case makes this up, but it also adds thickness. Face recognition is almost useless. So overall 4 of 5, good bang for buck.

I'm really curious as to the screen quality. I realise its gonna be different from an AMOLED panel that I'm used to, but all the other specs are so appealing!!

Asus zenfone 6 , Honor 20 pro , Oneplus 7 pro camera test side by side .
OnePlus 7 vs 7 Pro / Zenfone 6 / Pixel 3a XL / Mi 9 Battery Life DRAIN Test.
Between these two videos you should get a decent idea of the display compared to other led displays .

I think the zenphone looks a shade darker than the other led display due to its ips
I can confirm that there is a noticeable difference to a AMOLED display (coming from the Lenovo P2) and a side by side comparison clearly shows a better contrast in the Lenovo. But I also have to say that I only noticed that after a couple of hours with the Asus when checking back on the Lenovo. The display of the Asus is good and also in the dark not too bright.

Off topic but damn I loved that phone, really sad when I cracked the screen.
hi, i am using zenfone 6(2019) with latest update installed. the videos on the social media (twitter, fb, instagram) plays pixelated and in poor quality.
how can i fix this?
i think it's the same problem mentioned in android issuetracker: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/124593215
I'm having same problem. Did you find fix to that? I fear that we need to wait for update. Twitch video quality is poor too. @megamefta
Apparently the max brightness the phone can go is application dependent, in Chrome it's 600 nits and in photos or its 550 or something. Can we expect a mod or anything to make it even that is 600 across everything in the future?

Double post.
Does anyone actually own this phone here?
How is the display in the real world . ALOT of folks on youtube are saying its pretty dark . I want to get it and understand its not oled but I dont want a dark display .
Yes sir, i own it. [emoji23] From left to right- P30 Pro, Zenfone 6, P20 Pro, i was outside under the tree, max brightness.
In general: for me the display is very good, just needs to be a bit more brighter.
PS: unfortunately this picture was shot by Galaxy A5 2015 [emoji16]
I'm coming from a OnePlus 3 and haven't compared to other recent phones, but I'm impressed with this display. It can get bright enough, at least for my usage, and even though blacks aren't as black as an AMOLED display, they're still black and not what you see on some cheap displays. Is a <Samsung-flagship> display better? Yeah, but the price is also higher than the ZF6.
The only setting I had to change was the colour mode. The two pre-defined options are "wide color gamut" (used by default) and "standard", which is more like sRGB. This is completely personal preference, for me "standard" looks more what I'd expect to see, not super vibrant colours that almost look fake. Anyway, it can be changed so it's not really a problem.
I didn't use the "always on" feature on my OP3 in order to save battery, but I can see users that liked that feature missing it on this phone.

This device rocks, from a offer standpoint at least. From the reviews i though it would be slow, but the UI is very smooth. Only downside for me is the washed out screen. Maybe a room with a different calibration.
Overall it's a nice phone. Really smooth, decent cameras for the price, awesome battery life (it's easy with a 5000mAh battery and a SoC manufactured on the Samsung's 8nm process).
The screen could be amoled tho, not that the PLS TFT screen on this phone is bad, but it isn't great either.
The SoC has a weak GPU, but who plays games on a phone anyways... For a 720p screen I think it's more than enough.
So yeah, if you want a phone with a battery that lasts you days I can only recommend you this.
Just got one yesterday, easy to set up but colour is very disappointing and very washed out and I can’t find a way to alter the colour. despite what various websites show for improving the vividness on Samsung phones this doesn’t seem to have this function. Also I can’t see a way to have the clock permanent displayed as was available on my old A3
This phone is very beauti
