hi all i'm new here.
I'm a new user of tytn or better voda v1605. i have a big problem:
the battery life is about 3 hours. i have 3 battery, one original (1350mah) and 2 commercial (1500mah). when i put the phone in charge te battery gone very hot.
When i turn on the pda when battery gone down to 60% (in about 1 hour) the battery gone very hot about 40° celsius or more and it discharge faster. My friend have the same tytn but it works better, the battery duration is about 1 day an half using it normally. anyone know what, or where is the problem? it looks like an hardware problem, and i need help to fix it
i have official htc wm6 installed on it
thanks all
So I have the neon400 from bell, have gotten a battery exchange once now because I figured I had a bad battery,
Battery life is roughly 4-6 hrs with minimal usage. which is terrible, With normal usage (about an hour of talk time), my battery is dead within 3 hrs.
I turn off bluetooth, as i heard it was a battery drain, unfortunatly push mail is on, and activesync for ms exchange.
Should also note that I have msn running pretty much all the time, but even with the above, i should still have a longer battery life....
Anyone can make any suggestions to improving battery life on my phone?
low life
I have a rechargable drill and flashlight set and on the instructions it states NEVER CHARGE A HOT BATTERY so I took it one step further and put the battery for my cell phone in the freezer for 10 to 15 mins before charging the only problem with that is. The battery sweats water when it comes out and you can cause water dammage to the phone and battery. I put tape on the battery to protect the contacts and wait untill it stops sweating before puting it in the phone to charge. Also, I cant say for sure with your phone but with my nokia 6275I phone it was using the battery during the night probably sending usage information to the service provider so I removed the batttery each night. After breaking in the new battery by giving it a full charge and waiting for it to be totally dead before charging (you must always do this). And cooling before charging and removal each night my battery was lasting for seven days yes SEVEN days. Mostly because no one was calling me and I was not making any other calls or using the phone in any way. Yes the phone was turned on and all other settings were off like infared and btooth. Also the phone was entering into low power mode at the end of battery life
soo good luck

I've noticed the same thing. I don't use my phone a ton, and usually every day it's charged into the computer.
However when I unplug it after work on Fridays, by Sunday night, the battery is dead....this after being in low power mode, and not being used much.
It would be so nice if there was a replacement battery you could buy that was better...
Hello in these days i having facing fast battery draining even in deeep sleep, but after some research i maybe found one solution its very simple:
1st: Charge your phone until 100%
2nd: Turn off and pull out the battery for 2 hours or more
3rd: Put Battery and Charge your phone again until 100%
4th: Remove battery wait half hour or more
5th: Put the battery again and charge the phone until 100%
6th: Repeat the process until when you put the battery the phone is charged at 100% or a little less when this happens make a battery calibration with this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/...xLDEsImNvbS5uZW1hLmJhdHRlcnljYWxpYnJhdGlvbiJd or a similar one, or in cwm wipe battery stats
Please if the post if repetead delete
Share your sucess or completly fail
For me works im about 1 hour with phone connected (deep sleep )and only drops 1 % before i made this "recalibration" my phone drops about 5 or 6 % in one hour after 12 hours almost all time in deep sleep a little time in wi-fi and one little call and only drops until 90%
hi i received my brand new nexus 4 today , its battery is 33 % when i switched it on , should i let it drain and then charge or put it on charging to properly calibrate it ?
No need to drain the battery, just charge it and use it!
Actually, draining the battery to 0% can cause some problems...
yo, some time ago i brought a extended battery from AliExpress, took a lot of time to receive it, when i get it i put on my phone, and use it for a while and then it shout off, i think OK i was like 3 months or more whitout charge, so i go to home and put to charge for some hours, later that day i start to use my note, all was ok, i dont think it was a real 6800 mAh but it was OK, it more than the standar 3220, all was ok until i get 40-45%, and it shout off again from nothing, i take out the battery and turn on again, it show some extra % but keep turning off, i dont see the samsung logo it just turn off, but if i active the power save mode i can drain the battery to 0%, idk why but i can use all the charge on power save mode. My note 4 was the N910U version, the octacore exynos.
this is the battery http://imgur.com/X8V4nLB
so my question is, it can be some voltage diference on the consumption in MM 6.0.1 or older, or it was just a defective battery? is any way to see the battery Voltage , if it was low or something, i dont have idea what is just appened here, i got a pollarcell one but i need to charge it 2 or 3 times on the day, all i want is more SOT
PD: sorry for my bad english
