[Q] Freezing and Rebooting

I bought a note 3 last week from Verizon and it constantly froze with static lines going across the screen or would randomly reboot. I took it back and they replaced it and not even five minutes after getting it it did it again.i made sure to deactivate it from continuous WiFi scanning and the guy said that my Gmail had a virus on it.so I had to make a new one because when i sign in with it it caused my phone to become infected so he factory reset the phone and the problem consists but once or twice a day as compared to every 10 minutes.
So I was wondering if it's possible for the email thing to actually happen and what I can do to fix this to stop freezing and rebooting. It's currently running 4.4.2
Also when i have to pull the battery my browser switches the position of the bookmark tab and new window tab.
Try to use your phone 1 day without signing your Gmail account after factory reset
Maybe you should flash stock
I tried factory reseting it and didn't log into anything but it would still do it once a day at least. Also the roaming notification is constantly up but I'm not roaming.

[Q] com.android.systemui has stopped

i recently factory reset and rooted my phone for the second time and i dont know much about it but i think i know a little anyway i rooted it but i keep getting this " Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped." and it locks my phone and forces the screen to go off. That happens when i open certain apps that are closed and i open. the apps that i have noticed it happen on camera, music, connect via Bluetooth in music, when the screen rotates thats the biggest one but I've had it ever since i rooted my phone the second time and im getting quite annoyed with it and i still can't find solutions so this is my last resort if yall can please help that would be greatly appreciate.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S4 SPH-L720T (sprint) with the stock rom.

Verizon update

On my wifes phone after the last update she gets ads non stop. She will close something and an ad will pop up. Sometimes her alarm wont go off because of this. She uninstalled all games but does anyone have this problem? Can I root and freeze some files? Driving her crazy which in turn me. She did a virus scan and nothing came up.

Phone won't stop vibrating...

Posting here to see if more exposure would help.
Was wondering if anyone has run into this problem?
The phone was fine, rooted and everything, for a month give or take. Then all of a sudden, today, it started acting weird.
It was fine in the morning and everything, was able to use wifi, check emails, and stuff.
Then BAM, I tried to make a call, it didn't go through for the first 20 seconds or so. Then connected and a message kept popping up saying Phone is stopped or something during and after the call.
So, I restarted the phone. It restarted fine and everything, got past the 2 Samsung screens. Then hit the T-Mobile screen. and has been stuck on the T-Mobile screen for ~30 minutes now and just keeps vibrating.
It's getting quite hot, both front and back.
Any advice? Stupid Samsung making this a closed system so can't pull out the battery.
Can't even turn the phone off, only able to get to Download screen.
Weird problem.
Is there any way to pull the data and stuff off the phone at this point?
I'm thinking of going the factory reset route and do that to see what happens and see if it will fix the problem. It would probably not retain root am I correct and I would have to re-root again?
I could get into download mode and recovery fine.
I have had this issue on both at&t and t-mobile firmwares, but only while rooted.
Best thing to do is to re-flash the stock firmware again(or go to a different firmware if you'd like) but this is the reason I'm currently avoiding root. It soft bricks about a month in and is an easy fix but its annoying.
Was wondering about that too (flashing the stock firmware). But, will it wipe everything I had on there? Will any of my txt msg's and photo's or summat be lost to the ether?
Stupid question, I know, but had to be asked.
Thinking about flashing stock firmware and rooting agin for the sake of being able to do it again lol.
Well, if you flash stock, it does factory reset. That's why I have backups lol all I have to do is log into my Google account and everything is there.

Did you have security log or security update disabled as that updates and causes weird after affects.

These two threads describe exactly your issue and solution - http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-s7-edge/help/g930t-updates-unroots-overnight-t3426636 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-s7-edge/help/rooted-weeks-rebooted-stuck-t-mobile-t3425814
I had the same problem, twice I had a rooted device totally lock up and had to re-do everything. But after disabling the security updates as advised, I'm currently going on two months without a problem.
Hope this helps!

Help - Secure Folder totally hosed my S7!

So I finally got around to replacing My Knox with Secure Folder...well, trying to at least. Backed up MK, then installed SF from the Play Store and BOOM. SF crashes repeatedly when I try to open it. On the rare occasion it does launch, I can't get a password in because Samsung Keyboard keeps crashing (it's been a week and still nothing). Can't uninstall it, since the only option to do so is inside the app itself and I cannot get the password entered.
Then it got worse. TouchUX, Memo, Messages, Chrome, Settings, and many other services crash at random. Literally half the time I'm trying to use the phone, with no rhyme or reason, it gets stuck in an android.process.media or android.process.acore crash loop - I'm talking every 4 seconds I get the notification, for anywhere from 15 minutes to hours...it's pretty much unusable when it gets to that, everything still runs fine but it's not exactly practical to have to dismiss a popup every few seconds. I was using Nova Launcher and the GBoard, I outright deleted both and nothing has changed.
Oh, and I can't even connect to Smart Switch to try a backup and wipe because it insists the phone is locked even after I've disabled all locks in the security menu (swipe screen lock, no startup password, nothing). I'm seriously about to grab my maglite and smash this damned thing into itty bitty pieces, any help or insight is much appreciated!
ETA - software is stock, unrooted, latest OTA (QK4). I'm pretty technically competent; solutions at any skill level short of JTAG are welcome...
