Hello i have a problem with my samsung j3 running stock rom. The problem came up on its own , one day it just bootlooped after a restart. I tried flashing the original firmware using odin but it did not fix the problem. I also tried formating the cache partition using the stock recovery. Is this a bootloader problem ? Any feedback is welcome thank you.
The guide i used to flash the stock rom is this one. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j3-2016/how-to/guide-how-to-flash-stock-rom-j3-2016-t3765677
Try to flash the stock ROM with the correct country code, it contains 5 files (PIT File included) and restart

Where can i download the stock rom ? i only used custom roms on my phones with this being the only exception... thats why i have no idea on how to recover it. Without losing data.
You didn't made any backup?
As far I know, it's impossible to recover all your data.
Look at the sammobile site, there's a lot of stock ROM for your J320fn provided with country codes.

Hey sorry for the late answer. I did download all the roms i tried to flash from sammobile. Problem is the problem persists telling me the problem is elsewhere.
Try to flash the netherlands stock rom, it solved my issue when i had bootloop in my j320fn (j3 2016).

Thank you for your help i am downloading the file now...
Well that did not work. Problem is that in all my attempts i did not wipe the data clean only the cache partition. The boot loop is likely caused by something else than the Rom. I have to wipe the data. Problem is i cannot save anything because it wont even connect using adb.

Sir, i was just wanted to as that the multi window function as you mentioned works with most of apps.
So basically it is working with all our regular apps?
I'm getting the phone today and I'm considering flashing this rom as soon as it's out but there are a few points on which I'm not really sure about:
First, it says it's based on the indian version. Is it compatible with the note 4 sold in europe? is TWRP indian recovery compatible too? According to amazon the model is SM-N910FZKEITV
Will I have issues with the modem? Should I "recover" it from stock?
Are there any known limitations or issues not stated in the thread?
How does this all fit with knox? Is the flash bit going to be forever set? can it be resetted? should I care about it?
Is there anything I should check before voiding my warranty?
That should be all I can think about for now
Device can't able to boot
I have followed your instruction but at the end my note 4 keeps on rebooting. It stuck in Samsung logo.
Please help me to fix it.
Dr Ketan, love the rom, is there any way to fit more icon in home screen?
Note : I am not the developer of them , just helping other users as a fellow user of his Rom and with my limited knowledge.

It was primarily developed for Indian version of Galaxy Note 4 (N910G) so you might face issues and not recommend , try other roms for your Models and regarding know is hardware fuse so once triggered its fixed so yes warranty can be denied .

Custom Rom boot loop
Hi guys I have an Australian version of the Note 4. I have tried to install Dr Ketan Rom for the Note 4 N910G and all that happens is a boot loop. Note sure what I am doing wrong. I have followed the instructions to the letter and still no luck. Keep having to flash stock rom via odin. Any help would be great.
Hi I am having problem booting after installing the rom. It will keep rebooting after the samsung note 4 logo comes up. Will that be the result of me flashing a N910F rom and kernel before? I have now installed the stock rom but the phone is laggy. will be great if someone can tell what to do. Regards
Does this work on tmobile add long as i flash tmobile kernel? Thanks in advance.

Hi Dr. Ketan,
My note 4 (Australian N910G) is stucked at a reboot loop after flashing V1, I wiped data (factory reset), then flash your rom using twrp. It said flashing is successful but then it goes into a reboot loop. MD5 for the zip on device is also matched. Any idea? Thanks.

Can i get this straight. So i have downloaded the rom, do i then delete the boot.img from zip, and then flash?
I haven't flashed in ages, im a bit rusty with all the new stuff.
I'm looking forward to upgrade my A5 to russian Lollipop via Odin, the problem is if one day for some reason I need to downgrade back to KitKat, is it possible to downgrade? I mean if it is possible then does this recommended (to downgrade)? is there any consequences of this (like loosing warranty, bricked, etc)?
No, i would not recommend to try to downgrade. Several guys including me have hardbricked their device doing so.
also i hard bricked my device after downgrading.so you better dont do it

Be a Man and update it and downgrade it as much as u woold like me; but be smart and follow strictly the instructions. Sometimes, u will face problems that s how we learn to solve em. u ll need luck courage and a mind
I had already said in another post that this phone, more than others, has been a bit "tricky" and problematic.
also because of what has happened to others, do not. not that brick is sure, but is 70%
otherwise, try the new deodex http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/deodex-deodex-thread-samsung-galaxy-a3-t3174124
If you want to downgrade back to kitkat, you need to factory reset you're device including internal storage before you flash 4.4.4, if you encounter issues with no imei/baseband unknown. You will have to flash again.

I disagree. I downgraded both my A3 and A5 from 5.0.2 to 4.4.4 since that the damn lollipop is ubber laggy and keeps on freezing it.
Before downgrading make sure that you do a clear dalvik then wipe cache then go to odin mode flash it twice. The first flash even if its successful will boot loop your device. The 2nd flash will work like a charm. Mine is doing fine again.

Ehm.... what the hell are you talking about ? Rooting and downgrading firmware is something totaly different.
I'm on the french 5.0.2. lollipop firmware at this moment, i downgraded a few times before from this lollipop firmware to KK (simply because root is only possible on KK, but then i find myself wanting lollipop again).
You want me to explain ? Well its simply firing up Odin and flash the firmware. Very simple. But this in on the SM-700F, not sure if its different on A3 or A5.
You tell me you was on 5.0.2 and you succeed to downgrade to 4.4.4 without brick, only with Odin and original 4.4.4 firmware ? I'm on french 5.0.2 and have SM-A700F too. ..

Yes, i told you that. And it works perfectly. Maybe you should try it yourself if you want to downgrade. Its very hard to brick a device with original firmware. You have to be a total idiot to do that like flashing firmware from another device or something.
But you have done that when the 5..0.2 was available on your country ?
---------- Post added at 10:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:37 PM ----------
Normally when an OTA or update is available officially it's impossible to return back to an old version

I only recieved a small OTA on KK. Lollipop not available in my country.
Ah OK I see. 5.0.2 is available here in France and I have done it OTA. So for me it's impossible to go back to 4.4.4.
I was on MM temporarily, then used the return to stock tool to go to 5.1.1. I flashed the non-hlos.bin modem file and everything worked fine. ]
Now i flashed a stock 6.0 ROM and my wifi is not working. I assume there is a similar modem file i need to flash for MM, but couldn't find it after searching around (i saw one post that i think might have referenced it, but the link was dead and i wasn't sure it was MM anyway).
I looked inside the modem folder of the ROM itself, but nothing seemed obvious to me. Any ideas on a file or a zip i need to flash? (sorry if this is elsewhere, i did search)
I found all modems in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3272486
but there isnt for XT1575 "Pure" in that thread.

Thanks.
I still don't know what file i'd be extracting. Would i just be looking for another NON-HLOS.bin file?
As for why not flash the entire ROM (a good question):
1) I am not currently rooted, and for some reason (i can't really tell you why) was trying to avoid rooting this time around.
2) I have been fighting getting a ROM to install for about 2 weeks. After finally having some luck yesterday, i have everything mostly configured now and kind of just want to leave this as is for a bit.
But, if that's what it takes, I'll be rooting and flashing again.

i was also getting error 7 when trying flash rom's as well.
I tried updating TWRP as instructed above and continued to get twrp error 7 when i tried to flash any rom.
I then noticed that my error was based on the modem baseband date being wrong.
So I just re-ran the 20s update via eui's update utility and rebooted and was able to flash rom's again.
I hope that helps somebody.
I don't believe the problem was the TWRP version because I re-flashed it twice and the error 7 persisted

I had to flash the 20s firmware from codeworks thread in my case the error 7 was because I had the wrong modem date installed.

Maybe you can restore that backup from twrp. I've used it before

I'm not sure but I just flashed a custom ROM over that backup and everything just worked for me.
I never tried to use it so I don't know. Maybe you have some leftover stuff that you didn't get wiped.
I'd try to start over now that you have the ability to flash ROM's again.

Respectfully, there is no 21s firmware, go back one page and read.
This error 7 is the most common issue on the Le Pro 3 forums and the question has been answered literally a thousand times.
Error 7 is resolved by updating Twrp.
If you cant update Twrp, update your firmware.
Do a Google search and type : "All in One Tool Leeco Pro 3"
You can use it to resolve all of the possible issue variables, so download the newest version of Twrp for your device.
If you have a ZL1 then download the Twrp for the ZL1 if you have a ZL0 then download the TWRP for the ZL0 : I suspect that this is your actual issue: wrong Twrp.
Again get your files together: Twrp, Rom, Gapps, Magisk and at your current stage of using Roms the All in One tool is the best and easiest option. The All in One Instructions are on the Main All In One Tool XDA page.
Sim Card Card issues are often resolved after flashing the correct firmware.
