[ROM] [OPX PORT] [Oxygen OS] [3.1.0]

Hi folks,
It seems that a dev from the Oneplus forum, PMehra, managed to get OOS 3.1.0 working on our beloved OPO
He also made a OPX H2OS v2 port, though the official one is out.
Actually there are two OOS 3 ports that was made by two different dev (the other one is on Oneplus chinese forum) at the same time (almost) !
These are ports from the OPX 3.1.0 update dated of 08/18.
I've only tested the PMehra OOS 3 port.
What's working :
Almost everything is working, including NFC
Known bugs :
Mobile network take little bit more time (actually, it's insignificant), switch flight mode on & off after boot. Expected to improve in next update.
Longpress actions doesn't work on any button. Expected to be fixed in next update.
When the software buttons are turned on, the hardware buttons stay active and can also be used. So stay with HW buttons for now.
You can't change priority/no notifications due to there being no alert slider.

Storage->explore->doesnt do anything

If you want to install another rom after this one, you have to flash a marshmallow modem from this thread before, or you'll be stuck at boot logo.
Gapps are included into the rom.

Don't worry if winrar say that the .zip is corrupt, it work anyway.
Root :
Flash these two .zip in this order :
Magisk V6
Magisk Super Su 2.76
Custom Kernels :
You can use a H2OS or OPX kernel on this rom, though no OPX kernel has been updated to OOS 3 yet because Oneplus didn't release any sources, as the original update isn't official, but just a community build.
Quick review :
Use it for few hours now, and everything work well, it's smooth like butter
The camera app is the stock OOSone, and it don't support 4K recording, but the manual mode work well, and the "HQ" mode delivers nice shots.
Battery is good : about 4-5 hours SOT on average.
There is no slow charging issue.

I havent flashed the ROM but it says 3.0.1 in both Mega and GDrive but Screenshots say 3.1.0. Can you confirm what version is it??

btw, after trying to flash any other ROM, or restore backup...after this one... i can't do it any more. i am stuck at opo logo. any solution or idea why is it like that?

Maybe it's the modem. Try flashing a mm modem from this thread before flashing your rom. Tell me if it works.

Well a lot of you might accuse me of living in a cave but will still go ahead and ask my question
Apart from the camera quality what are the other benefits of using this ROM over say a cm or other stock roms? I am currently on hydrogen ROM purely for the sake of trying a new look.

i Flashed the rom yesterday. so far everything seems to be fine. i will report about the battery. no significant drain in last 12 hours!

Hardware buttons buggy
There's a few bugs with the hardware buttons that I've come across. Firstly being that no long press/double tap gestures work, and secondly when the software buttons are turned on the hardware buttons stay active and can also be used. While they're only minor bugs, they can be a bit annoying to deal with

Have you tried a different camera app than the stock one to try record 4k? For example: Bacon Camera, ColorOS Camera.

Testers needed for AOSP 7.1.2 Pixel themed ROM

Hi everyone,
I used to own a i9100 many years ago and was a developer back then, anyway it's good to see the phone is alive and kicking!
I built my own ROM which is clean aosp (untouched settings and most of base with only commits needed to build for non google devices) with pixel theme,
I want to test it but can't, I need 2 or 3 people who would want to test the alpha build and let me know if it works and send me screenshots,
again, this rom is clean aosp focused and performance, battery and getting that clean google pixel experience without the bloat some roms have, also I update it as soon as the security update comes out since there isn't many commits like other roms.

I downloaded rom tomorrow i will flash and i will report..

Flashed and rom works very well, is fast,smooth , just need permissive kernel to flash supersu systemmode to get root..

Gotcha, what about ril?
EDIT: I did set the kernel to permissive.. root should work, try flashing magisk 13.0

I flashed supersu systemmode but bootloop.

Tried to test your ROM. Downloaded it, did a clean wipe installed it after ][7.1.2_r17][OMS][i9100] XenonHD 7.1. Get sutck on install at step "patchjng", waiting at least 30mn then i get back to restore Xenon. Sorry guys.

Noops cannot go back to recovery... Stuck there on logo or the only choice i see is to go to dowload mod but then ...?

@sooti: well, after 12 hours of use, i noticed some things:
1. I can not install apps outside of google play even when I enable the Unknown sources option.
2. App notifications are always blank and you can not read what has been alerted.
3. Aesthetic: adjust the logo of initialization. gets too big.
4. Remove the installation of magisk when flashing, as it does not work on device and leave the system with the root already activated =)
5. 'MTP was stopped'. Whenever I open the files or connect the device to the notebook and disconnect the message persists.
6. Admin mode can not be enabled by other launchers.
7. Aesthetic: Adjust the size of the watch. Ex: When it is at 11:30 AM / PM, AM / PM goes from the screen.
8. Filming mode when clicking (+) on the instagram doesn't work, even with all the permissions enabled. The rest works very well.
9. Speech recognition does not work with 'ok google'. Using the Google assistant works fine. I even talk to her when I feel lonely. :rir:
10. Call recording not working same habiliting the permission.
11. The device was restarted 2 times on its own and ran out of the signal from the service provider. The signal only returned after the device restarts manually.
EDIT: 12: The phone only charges when it is switched on or in recovery mode (TWRP). If turned off, it turns on and enters the TWRP to load.
'Forgetting' these 12 problems, the rest works very well!
They will tell you that it is a lie, but the battery lasted 4 hours and 45 minutes using it intensely. Can you explain the magic to me, since with others, they last between 3 to 4 hours and 30 minutes? I'll send you pictures when use intensely again to prove it.

Hey guys, I just want to share another AOSP ROM that I found; Its a russian ROM, and the most stable a usable one I have tested.
*Compatible with xposed
*Menu button already set to show recent apps
*No GAPPS included (I flashed Open GAPPS pico and worked perfectly)
*Google camera working acceptably (not as fast as MIUI but better camera quality and stability than other ROMs)
*WiFi working at full speed (some AOSP ROMs appear to have a laggy wifi
*Bluetooth working fine (I'm using a MIband2 all the time with no problems)
*Multilanguage
Note: I flashed gapps right after the rom, the first start its a bit longer that the other roms (8 minutes in my case) after entering gaccount it delay a bit to confirm the account information, but after that works perfectly; you may install google web view system afterwards directly from the playstore.
Note 2: It appear to be a 3.4 version for this rom, but the links are down and probably wont work again.
Note 3: I'm just informing about this ROM cause I haven't read of it in this forum, I'm not the developer so, I'm not resposible of any problem you've got.

I wonder if I can use safetynet pass with this ROM, that is why I ask if it is support Magisk or not

on other aosp roms, my data sometimes show (!) marks, indicates the data is down, and I need to turn it off or activate airplane mode then turn it back on to make the data works (hoanguye and project x aosp rom). it never happen on global stable.
got any similiar issues?
ps: I know I should better try this myself, but it is not hurt to ask

are u the creator of modded aosp? recently I found about the data problem, sometimes it gives (!) note and have to turn it off and on again to bring it back to normal (wifi too), can u fix it please, I do really love ur rom, with nova xposed gravitybox fstb, its awesome

No such problems here. Try clean flash again.

No issues no as I flashed the headset fixer zip via magisk.thanks anyway for such an amazing port of an amazing rom

Rom is not smooth as miui, I'm uninstalled today. And flashback to miui pro. Hope a not laggy rom will come for our device

Everything works fine except tat ambient display and lockscreen gestures........ But little bit laggy can be fixed with kernel auditor

This is the message that is being displayed after the first and every boot!! I have done all the clears except internal storage still it is displaying the same and this cannot be minimized also!! Kindly help me with this issue

Its only once during every boot. It shouldn't be a problem

Google maps and other google apps are crashing...I fresh install all the apps and nothing...clean flash the rom 3 or 4 times now...and nothing change.
Hope you will port xiaomi.eu or maybe and original miui 10 pie rom.

No this is not a pre-rooted ROM, this is no-root version (by default)

Full of bugs .... The most annoying bug is.. This rom does not support carrier video calling

Man! finally I've been on an miui rom for a few days now; i usually switch back to a caf rom. but now, i believe i'd be staying in this rom for a while. thanks, bro! I only changed the kernel to stormbreaker for OC option, i prefer it that way. moreover, auto brightness gets the display too bright sometimes so i turned it off. there were a few bluetooth crashes, but it works in general. hopefully, other bugs get fixed because i use both reading mode and wireless display sometimes.

mine are not crashing. if you restore from mi backup, that might be the cause of the problem. for example, google photos for me should be installed from play store not thru mi backup.
try redownloading the rom. after wiping, and formating data, reboot to recovery again before flashing the rom. in my case, i flash latest firmware first, then the rom, then a kernel of my choice then magisk. after reboot, i go back to recovery again to flash the theme store fix.

saying it is 'full' of bugs is an exaggeration, bro. list them down so the dev can look into it. anyway, be reminded that this is a port, not all features will work as expected so we either get to live with it or switch to another rom that offers such features you need.

Come on friends......... It's still in early version and the developer himself said there are few bugs, but the features are good and many compared to other miui roms............. If u want stable version report the bugs via screenahots or provide logs if possible
I'm sure without bugs, it will be the best rom
