Ringer on Speaker & Bluetooth

Is there a way to activate ringer on speaker and bluetooth headset. I am using MS Voice Command 1.6. Please let me know, really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Hey. I don't want to discourage you, but you can search the wizard forum for the fix. There's a cabfile for this which enables it through the registry. Unfortunately i don't have the cabfile at hand for you. Maybe someone else?
the forum is huge, i tried searching. maybe you want to be precise where and which forum.... or category.. I also try messing with MS Voicecommand i figure that when you enable annouce incoming call it only rings on ur BT Headset not on phone. If someone can provide me a fix which enable it using "announce on BT headset" also rings on the speaker would be awesome.
8525 and M$ VC 1.6
I too have VC 1.6 installed and though I can talk and listen to calls through the BT headset the voice commands and responses all come and go through the phone. I have been searching and reading (and still going) to try and find a patch for this.......Any pointers or links would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
i installed my bluetoth and lost my ringer whether connected or not. I haven't been able to figure out what happened

Routing voip speakerphone to internal speaker for use with any voip client not native

Hi guys I was just googling and trying to find if it was possible to route the audio on voip clients coming from the external speaker to the internal speaker. I know this works on native wm6.1 voip stack but I want to be able to use it with fring xten pro and sjphone. I read something about a dll managing the audio. I just hope any of you can guide me through. or If you know how to fix this I would be grateful Thanks so much

[BOUNTY] Bluetooth HSP, HFP, SPP Profiles [A501]

This for A501 3G AT&T only !
I need a fix for bluetooth on the A501 bluetooth profiles, currently it only supports mouse, keyboard and AD2P. I want to have HSP, HFP and SPP profiles.
Currently you cannot connect a headset, it will pair but not connect, I want to use my headset and handsfree for making bluetooth skype calls on my A501.
Currently the A501 does not support bluetooth SPP profiles, I want to use SPP for controlling serial devices.
I am willing to pay $300 to the developer that fixes these issues.
Bluetooth must be useable with Skype and or an added in dialer for making 2g/gsm calls, bluetooth must be usable with handsfree in that you can connect to some vehicles for handsfree calls while driving, and SPP bluetooth must function.
Kernel source for HC 3.2 is available.
Anybody else want to add to the bounty?

great idea, however i dont think we can make voice calls on this. i could be wrong but the a501 has a neutered radio, and i dont think it can be made to make voice calls.
i would be happy if somone proved me wrong

You might be right that it does not have GSM or 2g capabilities but I would wager that the issue is in the firmware rather than the hardware, of course the firmware could be an issue as well unless the radio vendor (thinking Broadcom) has other firmware that has more functionality than the firmware supplied to AT&T's specs. I think it would be cheaper to purchase uncrippled radios and cripple them in the firmware than actually producing crippled hardware....

Nexus 7 3g SIP and Bluetooth ?

Hi,
I am a little desperate to make a "normal" call with my Nexus 7 3g ^^, finally i want to try a sip solution, i have trying the 15 best sip client of the play store and all are working but i can't answer with my bluetooth Headset (Plantronics M55), the Headset work if i call and if i answer with the Nexus 7 but if i try to answer with the bluetooth Heaadset i have two behaviors : nothing or a new call to the last number
I have find only one who work to answer vith the Headset : SipDroid but i have another problem with it : the quality is very poor ... but only with this client sip ^^
Thanks in advance, Florian
I also forgot to ask if people (with another headset) come to answer a call to sip and if so with what pair of headset and client sip?
I would also like an answer to this as I am thinking of getting a nexus 7 3g, but I want to know how I might make internet calls with it. I think I read that headphones with mics don't work because the headphone jack doesn't support it.
Have you tried a bluetooth headphones?

I'm using SipDroid in an XPERIA P with bluetooth car kit, and it's working for incoming and outgoing calls (bluetooth it's still experimental in sipdroid), one way to improve quality is try to change codecs: speex codec has low bandwidth and acceptable quality for me.
I didn't try it yet but have seen on the forums that it should be possible to mod android native SIP client to allow calls over 3G, and that way bluetooth should behave like any other call...
I want to try sipdroid, but can't seem to register with my sip provider with it. Pretty much the only app that gives me registration issues.
Zoiper just added bluetooth support. I tried it with an earpiece and stereo bluetooth headset and it works fine.
I mentioned this last week in the apps section.

Announce caller name from phone contacts in bluetooth headset

Has anyone been able to do this on our Lavender phones? If so, please provide instructions on how this is done and what headset you are using.
I work outside and my hands are usually full or dirty, so it would be great to hear the name of the person who is calling me through my Bluetooth headset. At the moment I only hear the phone number, even when the person calling me is in my phone contacts, so I have to take out my phone and look at the screen to see who is calling.
I've been Googling for ages and tried several apps but still can't get it to work over Bluetooth. Actually, I've never been able to do this on any Android device but I'm sure it's possible!
I'm currently on the latest Pixel Experience custom ROM and I've tried with several headsets, including Jabra, Sony and cheap Chinese Bluetooth 5.0 devices.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Anyone?
Solved!
OK.
So, in case anyone's also interested in this....
I eventually found a solution using Tasker and BlueTask plugin.
I can confirm this definitely works on Lavender Android 10 custom ROM and a cheap Chinese Bluetooth 5.0 headset.
My headset announces the phone number of the caller automatically and this can't be turned off, so I've set a delay in Tasker of a few seconds so the caller name is announced after the number.
The ROM I'm using (Pixel Experience) supports Bluetooth in-band ringing, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but in theory this solution should work on any decent ROM and Bluetooth headset or car kit. :good:
I have installed tasker and bluetask...please explain how to do this
