Google Pay | Some apps maybe drawing over the screen - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Hello everyone,
Since the last 2 days I am having this weird issue which is getting to my nerves now cuz I am not able to figure out what it is
Google Pay has been working fine, I am rooted and MagiskHide does the job perfectly. Now, while trying to make a payment, as soon as I try to enter in the amount through the numeric keypad, it says
Please exit any apps that might be drawing over the screen and try again.
I am not able to do anything after this. Please help anyone out there.
Thank you

Mostly, When any app is drawing over the screen you get a notification that some app is drawing over the screen. Or if does not solve, Remove "drawing over screen" permission for all the apps

That is disabled for all apps. Tried disabling, clearing GPay cache, even reinstalling the app. Still does not work.

Need help with App Drawer Crashing

Hello everyone. Im looking for some help for my cousin.
My cousin got a Iconia A501 (AT&T Model) for Christmas. Whenever he opens up the app drawer it force closes and he is kicked to the homescreen. An error message comes up stating that the Market App has stopped responding when this happens. He cleared the Market cache but it made no difference.
Can anyone think why this might happen and how to correct it?
Try doing a factory reset on the device which will reset it back to factory.
That was going to be the next thing I have him do, I just didnt want him to lose all apps and settings he already added/changed. But it looks like it might be the only option.
He's new to android and its not really a good start for him. Hope it doesnt happen again.

Deleting the market app cach doesn't effect anything. Deleting the user cach, should only make him do the login process again. The apps will stay on the system.
Sometimes, the market app need to be replaced. And the only true way to do that, is to root the tablet.
You may want to install a "launcher app" from the market. You can get it via the tablet, or by pc (market.android.com) This may bypass the apps error.
I think launcher ex is free.

Please help: Chrome stopped working

Hi guys... stupid me... I was playing around with Titaniuum Backup and read about the recommended job to integrate update into the ROM in order to free up space. Good idea, i thought.
So, I pressed it and was toasted successfully. Tried to start chrome again and was told that an error occurred and I have to delete chrome first. Well. I wondered as it is a system app. Never mind. Titanium backup pro solves the problem I thought. Deleted Chrome, restarted and installed it.
If now I want to start Chrome, it closes itself and gives a toast that "Chrome stopped working". I can press report or ok. The most interesting part is, that this toast appears 2 times. So, I guess that the process starts 2 times and produces a conflict.
Any idea?

Try clearing data and defaults of Chrome in "system settings - apps" and then long pressing Chrome and turning it to a system app in TB.

Hello, "undo sys integration" lets me know that there is nothing to undo. So, I can not execute this process.
@yuzgen: Chrome is still a system app and so, I can not make it one ( as it is already)

But you put "Deleted Chrome, restarted and installed it." in your first post. So now it must be a user app?
Try this!

1. Make sure chrome is closed.
2. Go to the app settings and remove all data from chrome.
3. Go into /data/data/ (with a root explorer) and remove any directory with chrome (probably: com.android.chrome),
4. Then remove chrome from your device.
5. Restart the device after that reinstall chrome from the play store.

In app billing not working

Hi fellows,
So I was reading about how to root my phone and use the app freedom, you know to buy in app goods, so I did root my phone and installed freedom, it worked fine however now after a while I'm having this issue, my in app billing service is not working.
Whenever I try to buy anything from an app it just doesn't pop the validation window and on some apps, such as fleksy doesn't show the buy button only a get button which does not do anything.
I have kitkat 4.4.2, I have tried to erase the google play store cache, I have modified the host file, including a # at the beginning of 127.0.0.1; I have unistalled the freedom app and still wasn't able to fix my problem.
In one of the apps I got the message: unable to connect to android market billing, which makes me think it is the service is not working properly or even worst, I got banned.
Any ideas?
I highly appreciate your help and comments.
did you disable freedom before uninstalling?

I did, I also installed it again and still same issue.
Well, I just spent over 30 minutes between 4 reps with Samsung, none of them could fix it and sent a ticket to "developers"; being an IT professional and frustrated, even more so, I poked around a bit and found the fix.
Go to Galaxy Apps in your Application Manager, click on "storage". Clear both data and cache, relaunch Galaxy Apps and you should be good to go (I was at this point). All fixed for me.

Error Inflating Widget- Fire HD8 Issue

I noticed today for the first time that, when I'm multitasking on my Fire HD8, a bar appears at the top of the screen saying "Error inflating widget".
I've never seen this before, and it does not show if I hit the multitasking button with no programmes running. I've deleted all the new apps I've installed today (as this error has never appeared until now) and cleared app cache & data files before deleting them.
Since then, I've rebooted my device multiple times but the error bar is still there.
Anyone able to help me remove this bar?
I have the same problem. I used to be able to solve it by uninstalling the Google app and reinstalling it (I've had to do this a lot in the past couple of weeks attempting to get Google Assistant to work) but that trick isn't working anymore and this error notification is driving me up the wall

Does someone have problems with "draw over other apps" permission?

.
I've noticed that after Oreo update some apps cannot draw over other apps anymore. Like Google Translate "Tap to Translate" or Nougat/Oreo Quick Settings. Lastpass works fine tho. But if I try to make work this apps, it will tell me I need to go to settings to enable "Draw over other apps" permission for that app. The funny thing is that the permission is already given and switching it on and off, killing the app, restarting the phone, etc doesn't do anything. For the apps is like I never granted the permission and so they don't work as they should.
I'm trying to avoid doing a factory reset, btw.
Anyone else has this problem? Anyone using "tap to translate" of Google Translate ?
Thanks!
.
I'm guessing no one has the problem? xD I guess I'll factory reset then...

I'm having the same issue with twilight and Pokemon calci iv. I just did a factory reboot and when I did I constantly get a pop up that says can't install contents 1-400, so I have to keep it in battery saver mode all the time. It still gets hot like crazy, and do not get the port wet because it detected moisture for days and will intermittently charge and not charge or charge slowly and quick charge. I am hoping another factory reset would do the trick, but idk. These intrinsic obsolescence strategies are how they get you to upgrade to the lg g7
So I did the factory reset. The update error went away the moisture sensor issue went away, the drawing over apps issue went away for 2 days then came back. I cannot use chatheads, pokigenie, twilight, etc. The hell with you LG
