Is there a way to flash an international ROM (ex. 6.2.0.0G) on a MX4 Pro running 4.8.2.1 CN?
I have tried to root with Kingroot 4.8.5, 4.8.9, 5.0, 5.3.7, Kingroot PC and Farmaroot without success.
When trying to login with my FlyMe account there is no way to enter country code, so I can not root that way either.
When trying to update using a G-firmware in recovery it says it's corrupt.
Is there a specific CN-firmware I have to use to be able to get root with Kingroot or other tool?
Thanks.

Try kingoroot pc version works 100% with 5.1.1 n910v
But remember this will give you only temporary root
Once you reboot device the root will be gone
Bootloader is locked in n910v
There is a method you can get permanent root in verizon note 4 thread to unlock bootloader via adb method
If you unlock bootloader after that you can install twrp recovery and flash custom roms
Don't ever try cf auto root it won't work and it may brick your device.

I was able to root once and run the script and it changed the CID or whatever it was. Now I simply cannot get temp root at all to finish the bootloader unlock process. Tried PC version and Android version so many times now it just reboots and reboots.

You must flash any rom once you unlocked bootloader cuz unlocking will mess up your system so you cannot boot into system anymore.
Flash 5.1.1 stock firmware and start unlocking bootloader process from beginning

i had some software that can basically do it for you (id have to replace the files for 6.0 root for nouget root and it would still say 6.0 but I'd work for nouget) i use it and you don't need to input commands but you still need to have an unlocked bootloader.
Hi,
I'm trying to root my daughter's Blade A452 with the latest dis_eu_a452v1.0.5 firmware, if at all possible without data loss. I tried KingRoot, KingoRoot, TowelRoot, all without success. Bootloader is locked, so flashing TWRP and SuperSU is not an option I'd like to pursue, if there are other ways.
Strangely, my other daughter's A452 rooted without any problems, but I didn't check the firmware version at the time -- might have been another one.
I'd appreciate any help!
Greetings,
Christoph
Are you trying unlock bootloader?
Not necessarily, except if there's no other way to get root. I know how to unlock the bootloader, but this would erase all user data (which I'm trying to avoid). I really don't need an open bootloader (no plans to flash a custom rom), just root access.
I have a Zenfone 2 Laser that I'd like to root and install a custom ROM, but unfortunately the data cable is not working, only charging, even in fastboot or recovery mode. Tried other USB cables and other PCs, didn't work.
So I need to root from the phone itself.
I tried KingRoot, OneClickRoot, and a few other old root apps (framaroot and towelroot) but none of them seem to work. Kingroot puts me in a queue and OneClickRoot says I can root my phone but I need a PC (adb), which I can't do. In Developer Options I didn't find the option to use ADB over network. EDIT: also tried Rootmaster, UniversalAndRoot and KingoRoot.
Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), security patch level February 5, 2018
ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser Z00LD ZE550KL
Is there another way to root this phone without a PC?
Thanks in advance
EDIT: I might be able to root it if I can downgrade to Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and I managed to download an old version of ASUS stock ROM from here but when I try to install from the stock recovery it says my ROM is newer than the one I'm installing. Editing the update-script in the zip file to bypass this makes the update not flashable anymore (error signature check). This guide shows how to fix it, but a PC is needed, which I can't use (data cable doesn't work). How can I make a genuine package for downgrading?
hello I have tried several applications to try to get root on my redmi 3s device without getting good results. I would like to get root without adb or fastboot, just with some application. I already tried with kingroot, framaroot, a Chinese native etc .... the version that I have installed today is MIUI 10.2 stable version running marshmallow 6.0.0. thanks for helpme:good:
When I wanted to root, I also used all of these apps but they could not root my REdmi 3s. If you have a PC best way is to unlock the bootloader and then install TWRP and then flash magisk or SuperSU zip file.

Yes friend, that is indeed the best way, what I wanted is to find an application that would do it by itself, I think that with the MIUI stable you can not without PC. I already have the bootloader unlocked for years, but I reinstalled the stable MIUI and I left it like that, in the past I tried many ROMs. Thank you very much for trying to help, it does so in console and with the command adb fastboot flash recovery.
AFAIK there might be no app that could root MIUI phones or perhaps newer android versions because I tried using these apps on my Lenovo K8 Note also which is stock Android 8.1 and they couldn't root that either.

Try with magisk.zip.
