i have an S5 G900f have an old lollipop 5.0 which i dosn't like
so i went to choose an earliest firmware 5.0 from sammobile
when i try to install it using ODIN i get the error message below

searching for this in google say that the solution is to uncheck reactivation lock under security setting
the problem i can nnot find it in my s5

Are you sure you are running stock Lollipop?
And are you sure it is a G900F?
Check in download mode what it says the model is

strange my download mode says it is G900P
but under about my device or when i remove the battery it says G900F

A lot of S5s are mislabelled - your device is the G900P

So i should download the firmware version for G900P andtry again
Yep, can't remember if Lollipop locks the bootloader on the G900P or not, but you should be able to 'upgrade' at least if it does
You must ALWAYS believe your phone's download screen model name

Looks like whoever you bought it from, has either modded the build.prop to display G900F info, or manage to flash enough of a G900F ROM to show that info
I can flash a G900T ROM without the bootloader and modem, and it shows G900T on my phone, but the phone is G900F
Either way, if download mode says G900P, that's your model

but seems that he IMEI has changed !!

If you flashed a stock Samsung ROM, whatever was done to your phone prior to flashing this ROM is the problem - if it says G900P in download mode, and G900F in About and on the sticker, someone had changed something in order to make it look like a G900F (Likely because they are more popular)

Maybe it's not available for that ROM, the G900T firmware doesn't have Mobile Data toggle, but the G900F firmware does (Same phone)

I wanted to downgrade my S8 to stock 7.0 as I dont like 9.0 soo much although it has really cool Features. My problem is that my Bootloader is in Version 4 and I think Nougats is 1 or 2..
I know that I could downgrade using Combination File but Idk if that would trip Knox Counter and I also dont know how to do it since S8's firmwares are split into 5 parts.. last time I did that was with my S6 edge and there I just deleted all the .bin files from the firmware as well as the hidden.img file and created a tar with the left files and flashed that together with Combi. Does anyone know how to do that with Galaxy S8? (G950F)

WIll be dowgrading to Oreo (8.1) good enough for you?
You can downgrade using Odin (V3.13 and up), just download the Oreo firmware version of your phone and use the "CSC" file not the "Home_CSC". At Odin there are options for each firmware file (AP, BL, CP, CSC); load each in the respective option.
This will do a full reset of the phone so do a back up before doing the downgrade. It does not trigger Knox counter if you are using stock firmware.

since device didnt have gapps...i couldnt login or use gps since map was blank. i solved the issue by installing microg project gapps with backends and everything. now i can use it as normal tablet.

I was trying to downgrade my t337v but the bootloader is locked, i was about to temp. root on 5.1.1 and i flashed aboot.mbn from 4.4.4 it worked because odin keeped stopping it. But unforunatly i didnt flash boot.img or the recovery.img so now i have a hard bricked tablet but it was a old beat up.
Im curious if anyone knows, if i would have flash aboot boot.img and recovery.img. do you think it would have allowed to flash system.img in odin?? because when using odin the only files it would not allow to flash was aboot.mbn , system.ext and cache.ext. everything else would flash before the brick.

I've been looking everywhere to see if I could get my SM-T230NU up to 5.0 or higher. How did yours get to 6.0.1?
I am downgrading from Nougat to Lollipop but it doesn't work for some reason. I downloaded the correct firmware and all but this happens:

What is your device?
AFAIK you have to have an unlocked bootloader in order to downgrade firmware in Odin. The "auth" failure can be for any number of reasons. Can you post a shot of your phone screen while in download mode?

OEM Unlocking =/= unlocked bootloader.
Try a different USB cable, that can sometimes cause problems.

I found a solution!
You need a 4 file firmware, Once you add all of them uncheck BL, This keeps the Marshmallow bootloader but turns everything else to Lollipop!

Nevermind, After the firmware flashed it shows a glitchy green static and some red lines.
Thankfully it's not hard bricked, As I can still access download mode, But it plays the startup sound then shuts off, This is the same thing that happened when I flashed my Lollipop TWRP backup.
I guess it is truly impossible to downgrade.
Yep @V0latyle turns out it is impossible to downgrade.
I tried everything possible, The device just breaks, This seems to only happen to the J500H. What a bummer.

ROM J500H U2 Downgrade FROM 6.0.1 To 5.1.1 | [Official] add the 01/04/2018 on Needrom
hellow Download this ROM and unzip it and put the phone in download mode and then flash this file with Edin.
and then remove the phone's battery and put it back in and go to recovery and factory reset the phone and then clear the cache and finally reboot and the phone will be downgraded to Android 5

Update:
I finally got everything working on my Samsung Galaxy J500F (2015). I documented this under this page and yes, MANY thanx to you guys, this site above provided the correct latest stock ROM to fix my Bluethooth problems.
I found out why it won't flash, Samsung locked the BL so you can't flash the BL from a lollipop rom, but you can flash Recovery and System with Z3X Samsung tools, without a 4 file rom, Yes I pirated a copy of it.

Hi brother, I downgraded the j500h phone to Android 5 with this file, but before that you have to go to the build number and click several times to open the developer section, then open the oem lock and turn on USB debugging. With this file, you can easily Android 5.0.
