Hi, can someone please help me?
My phone got hit by a wave at the ocean, I tried to get the water outside (by putting it in rice) the best way possible. As I tried to turn it on 3 days later, the AP Fastboot Flash Mode (secure) screen appeared. I can't connect it to the computer neither navigate on the phone.
Already tried to solve the problem reading other threads, but as I have no clue of informatics, I'm kinda lost. But it seems like a solvabale problem.
Hope somebody has a tipp! Thank you!

Hey there,
So I tried upgrading my radio via fastboot from the command line - that didn't work. Then I tried upgrading via recovery mode.
Now the phone doesn't start up at all - everytime I power on and attempt to go to fastboot mode, it shows the updating screen (box with arrow coming out and pointing to the phone) and then it fades out and does nothing. I can't get to recovery mode either.
Is there anything I can do to salvage the situation?

Here's the story. I flash my phone and put the firmware in the wrong place. I put the firmware in the BL not in the AP. And now my phone can not enter download mode again and the screen so wierd. Please help me...??

Hay, @muniz_ri: Man could you please help me about the same like problem, I have brick my nieces Galaxy Grand Prime G530H, while i was trying to upgrade it to 5.0.2, I did all the things well and ODIN showed PASSED sign on the relevant bar, but the phone didn't boot thereafter,
It only has a light black screen, No download mode, no recovery mode, it starts (as it vibrates & the screen looks like it is not dead totally) and the computer also detects it.
I remember, i had alike problem with a LG G2 but, galaxy devices are quite changed. What can i do please, please help me.
you are a software Guru man and you have figured out many problems even without knowing what has been done with the devices, kindly help me and some others in the line, Please find out some thing. I have searched the xda and googled a lot but couldn't find any help. Thanks a lot.
Bricked Zenfone5 via bad ROM flash
Sounds pretty bad but thats what has happened
What happened: phone shut off before the rom finished flashing
What's the diagnosis: booting into droidboot fails completely, shows a usb figure and right after that the ASUS startup animation and then turned itself off
What can still be done: plugging in while pressing volume down still elicits a ringtone on my PC, I'm assuming this is flash mode?
What I'm assuming I should do: do something akin to flashing but via flash mode ( which I've been doing on my XperiaL dozens of times), but I can't find a way to flash anything on the Zenfone5
If I'm sorely mistaken please correct me, any help is highly appreciated
What I used to do on XperiaL: open flash tool, flash rom in flash mode
You can plug your zf5 into PC, open droidboot and reflash the stock rom

Thanks for the reply, but I can't boot to ANYTHING and by that I literally mean ANYTHING, so recovering from recovery does not fit the problem.
Luckily I found this, and eventually fixed my phone.

Z2 owners that like to mess around with their phones are prone to get f#ked. I was there and I faced the problem some of you probably did - a hard brick. There are a ton of tutorials on how to fix it, but I believe I found a new way that doesn't envolve resetting it. I have only tried with twice on my phone, so I'm really looking forward to know if it's universal!
Scenario - Your phone has a black screen. The notification LED is on. If you hold the power button it flashes the ZUK logo and it vibrates. If you identify with this scenario, go forward!
1 - To turn off your device (if you haven't already), press the power + volume up. The phone will vibrate, flash the ZUK logo, turn off the LED and turn it on again. Continue holding both buttons. When the LED turns off again, REMOVE your fingers from both buttons right away. If done correctly, it won't come back again and the LED will be off
2 - Hold both Volume Up and Volume Down at the same time. Connect to the computer. You should encounter your Fastboot mode (with your baseband and other info blank).
3 - Go to your email and redownload the bootloader unlocker. Yes, remember that file? Use it. You can use one of those unlock bootloader tutorials online, but if you know what you're doing, here's the command:
fastboot -i 0x2b4c flash unlock unlock_bootloader.img
4 - Right after that, run this other command
fastboot -i 0x2b4c oem unlock-go
That's it. You should be able to go to the recovery (flash it again just to be sure). Try it out and tell me how it goes.
not working...phone is gettin turned off...but holding up and down..then connecting is doin nothing..it just keeps on going on and off again

Where were you man I have to cut my wire and format my phone for flashing new firmware
My phone don't show the led light
No button combination works
I was restoring twrp backup and the next boot...And i was bricked
It shows diagnostic mode 900E

Had the same problem and first i went to download mode by following the the below link

then i downloaded the stock firmware and followed this guide

Hi. I have this old Galaxy J1 (SM-J100ML/DS) phone that was from my brother. One day the phone just turned off and doesn't started more.
When i connect to the PC nothing happens and the PC doesn't recognise nothing. I tried enter download mode but nothing.
When i go to recovery (Volume up + power on) nothing happens in phone but pc recognizes an unknown device.
Someone has a solution?
why the hell no one has answered you ? i found you by google and i have the exact same problem...
