Well... you quoted me and I asked the question myself for the international version, so I have no idea. But as I understand it should work with a lot of different version. Follow the links and see if you find anything there.

Awww man it saids, my softare version is not supported
Im using f320L21v, any suggestions?
So I've been getting kind of angry that T-Mobile hasn't updated the phone to KitKat and I tried something on my own. Flashing the MetroPCS KitKat software version on my device via Odin. Guess what? It worked. The only thing was that after it updated all the apps, it installed some MetroPCS bloatware. I don't mind that but this is awesome that I was actually able to install the SGH-T399N software on the SGH-T399. Try it for yourself and let me know how it went for you.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that would brick my phone since that's for the SGH-T399N. I have the SGH-T399. Oh and BTW I know they are both pretty much the same, but if I were to flash that, it would probably screw up.

I bet you can port KK to this if you have a stock rom and metro's stock rom with Kitchen.
I have a stock rom zip here:https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347774930
there's a metro KK stock rom zip you can google it.
I think there's a storage mount file you need for kitchen, I wrote one if you need it just ask (i have it in my linux partition, which I'm not on now).
Oh and always have a backup.

If you don't see enough development for this phone now and don't want to wait, then don't buy it. Don't flash something not made for your phone unless you have a backup.
Other than that the phone has a well balanced spec sheet for the price.

What are you currently running and why?
I performed my first root a week ago and downgrading to kit Kat was awesome. I've tried Moar and optimal Roms for lollipop now and my battery still gets wrecked.
I do use my phone a lot, streaming audio and Web / forum use. However, even after debloating and greenifying all apps aside from streams, I still can't make it all on day on 100% battery.
Would swapping to a Kit Kat rom help? What do you suggest?
Examples of use: pandora, podcasts, netflix, HBO go, plex, tapatalk, etc. I keep 50% brightness all the time.
Any tips welcome!
G900V OC4 5.0 OptimalRom: via Tapatalk
------------------
edit: last night, I reflashed optimal based off oc4 lollipop 5.0, skipped wizard and ran the adb debloater. aside from that. calibrated my battery, running greenish on all apps except video and audio streams. I run minimal WiFi data Bluetooth and no location services with 50% brightness.
my battery life is still just OK.

You cannot flash CM12 on this phone, and I don't think you can flash custom kernels. This is because the Verizon Galaxy S5 has a locked bootloader. As you have already found, you can flash SOME custom Touchwiz ROMs but not many. As far as Kit Kat versus Lollipop, that is really a personal preference in terms of what features you are looking for in a ROM and OS version.

The link you gave is for the KLTEVZW which is the developer edition not the retail version like the OP has. Completely different phones in that the dev edition has an unlocked bootloader and the retail version does not. Dev edition can run CM, retail version cannot. Just a helpful fyi for you and the OP.

My V20 having an issue with GPS since Oreo update. (I've tried the GPS locker apps but those are not really working) I didn't really care about it as this was my secondary phone, but now I want to use it as the main one. My theory is, if I downgrade it or try different kernel/rom, it will solve this problem. I swear I've looked everywhere, but I did NOT find any solution. All that I've found stops at version v20g... Can I downgrade/root somehow? My device is "virgin" means it is stock. Bootloader locked etc...
Thanks
ps. It was 3 years ago when I last rooted a device... the world has changed a bit since then (So let's just say I am a noob beginner )

The only thing... I didn't find anything for h910 v20h. As I've mentioned before, the latest was for the stock ROM version v20g. I just don't want to brick my device using the outdated method on a possibly unsupported version of ROM...
