Most of us using the Tab2 today have already installing one sort of Kernel or the other. Many of us have also undervolted the cpu clocks. It is a tough job to really find that undervolt figure which will let the tab run stable and cool at overclocked speeds.
So, If it is ok within the mod rules, I suggest we all post a screenshot of our voltage figures so as to save us a lot of tweaking (which is fun, alright but also time consuming).
I understand that what works for one may not work for another so please undervolt at your own risk.
My screenshot follows in the next post..
PS: if you have been able to achieve a better performance or undervolting with a specific setting, please mention the same.

I am pretty sure i have a problem. I am addicted to trying each and every new rom... as you can see, i have installed every rom for the new 2.3.32 version. Anyone else have this addiction? I think that if i find the right rom, that my phone may vibrate at a frequency that makes it levitate. Then maybe i can ride it like a magic carpet.
I need a support group.
Thanks..
Might wonna join this- http://forum.xda-developers.com/group.php?groupid=213
haha.. enjoy..
*sheds a tear*. You need help buddy.
LOL, I generally have three roms at a time.
So far, Darkslide is #1. RummRx is a close 2nd. Apex isn't far behind them in 3rd.
RubixFocused1.9.0 would be #1 if it liked my phone. Has the cell standby battery drain issue on my hardware. It is the fastest by far...
Samsung Galaxy S3
Total noob here. Just rooted my phone, and have little idea of the endless possibilities.
Starting with Setcpu, what are the best profile, main, governor etc. setting I should use on my phone? I don't want to burn my cpu or destroy my phone so all help will be appreciated.
Many thanks
Sorry I posted this in the wrong forum last time
Something to base off.

UV saves negligible to 10% battery so I do it to allow me to run @ 400Mhz minimum on my default profile while drawing less voltage vs stock voltage.
400 gives noticeably smoother scrolling in app drawer than at 200.
I also changed my touch boost level (frequency the CPU goes to when screen is touched) from 800 to 700Mhz using Swteaks.
Depending on your kernel UV may not be available.
Google search governors for more info on their characteristics
Hey guys, i already searched the forum but didn't found anything.
Is there any app to control how many cores of the cpu are active like core control on one x?
Thanks in advance

it depends on the kernel you are using. if theres an option to disable tegra hotplug, then you can control how many cores are used. you can control how many cores are used with the trinity kernel and the trinity kernel toolbox.

Previously with 44S update, stock kernel, I was able to pull out to 6 hours of screen on time and 2.5 hours of talk time on a full battery cycle.
People had been complaining about bad battery performance with 05Q, so I decided to go back to CM11S from the Custom ROMs I had been using for Android 5 and here's the result !!

With WiFi or 3G on all the time, automatic brightness.
Why separate thread ? Also what kernel ?

This turn it was stock kernel !!
Hi!
Please use the existing battery results thread here,

Thanks! Thread closed.
Hi all, for about a week I keep trying custom ROMs (LOS is my fav for now, with nebula kernel), and no matter what kernel or rom, CPU is between 60°C and 86° (GPS, music and BT in car), I don't remember get so hot on stock, and I'm kind of lazy to reflash everything, I just would like to know which is the stock CPU governor on 20B/C, please.
And if someone can post here their min and Max temp, could be useful !
Thanks in advance.
Stock governor is interactive
As for temp, I dont keep a track of it but if it helps, here's a ss of current one while charging

as said, interactive is default on stock.
I use Ex kernel manager to show a notification with cpu temperature. Mine is usually between 50-60º with normal usage.
Either there is a problem with LOS or you have an app that is stressing too much the cpu.
