it depends on the kernel you are using. if theres an option to disable tegra hotplug, then you can control how many cores are used. you can control how many cores are used with the trinity kernel and the trinity kernel toolbox.

JTAG pinout pictures

Hello all...
I just stumbled upon this in another forum...
Don't know if it could help anyone with bricks??
Quote :
This phone use an msm7230 cpu and the voltage used by it I guess that is 2,6Vcc. You can search it by probe function in riffbox or by multimetter in comparation with another known jtag like is for example wildfire, desire and for other that use logical i/o 2,6Vcc. In many phones that I found the jtag pins without desolder the cpu this was the nearly value that was the same at all:
trst-0
tdi-2,6
tms-2,6
tck-2,6
rtck-0,04
tdo-0.04

I believe they are only used as needed. Its part of the power saving design.
Allright

This is 20% over on that single core! I have it limited now. Cuz' things get a bit freaky at 6900mhz/no limit-single core
Stock Is 1866mhz MAX. 533mhz MIN.
-/+ .010v added
Max temperature is 71c benchmarking/Gaming-27c ambient
No Thermal Throttle
Could you explain better what are you doing exactly?
A bios mod? A software overclock? Is the gpu affected too?
Software mod.
It can be but it seems like it isn't affected by the 3 available options. So this is only CPU
I had a thought the gpu could need more power and with the cpu unlocked, the gpu options themselves don't work. But lack of time.
I'm having troubles doing full recoveries though. I can't seem to use USB, it has an option for dvd though, but I don't have one.

Real time CPU usage per process

Hello everyone,
Here running Omni 4.4.4 on Galaxy Note 2 N7100.
The only feature from stock rom that I'm missing is the CPU usage per process. I know that a overlay CPU usage can be enabled on developer options, but this doesn't show it per process.
Do we need a 3rd party app for this?

Not something we have to my knowledge, but something that would be quite useful. I thought @maxwen indicated we did have such a feature in a recent discussion but I can't find it. I'm getting old though...
@maxwen ?

General Undervolt numbers ?

Most of us using the Tab2 today have already installing one sort of Kernel or the other. Many of us have also undervolted the cpu clocks. It is a tough job to really find that undervolt figure which will let the tab run stable and cool at overclocked speeds.
So, If it is ok within the mod rules, I suggest we all post a screenshot of our voltage figures so as to save us a lot of tweaking (which is fun, alright but also time consuming).
I understand that what works for one may not work for another so please undervolt at your own risk.
My screenshot follows in the next post..
PS: if you have been able to achieve a better performance or undervolting with a specific setting, please mention the same.
