Bootloader / Bootup and Restart problem - Moto G5 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi there, I have a problem with my Moto G5 Plus. When i reboot or bootup my phone it always shows the bootloader. I simply won't start and always hangs in pre-boot.
This happens all the time when i restart my phone or do a cold bootup, the phone always hangs in the bootloader. The only solution i have is to press the power button to start the phone.
Anyone facing the same problem? Is my bootloader corrupt? I tried flashing the TWRP flashable stock roms but this trick didn't work, i'm now running the Kraken Pie android 9 ROM...
Hope to hear from you soon, thanks in advance.
Phone is working fine and everything is working, the only problem i have is when starting or rebooting.

Problem solved by this thread here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/help/restart-recovery-t3674851
Solution: Are you getting recovery (TWRP) or the bootloader?
If the bootloader, then enter "fastboot oem fb_mode_clear" and reboot.

a6000 shut down during MIUI flash, won't boot into recovery

Hey guys I was trying to flash MIUI 8 on my a6000 lenovo. Bear with me because I'm new to this so I might have screwed up.
Rooted and installed TWRP perfectly. Phone was running kitkat.
I then, through TWRP tried to flash MIUI 8 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a6000/development/rom-miui-7-lenovo-a6000-a6000-t3355692
After first swiping right to install the zip, i got an "error executing binary in zip" error. Wiped dalvik, etc. again and tried again and then I got a MD5 file not found "warning". It was not in red letters and after that message there was no progress bar or anything and the phone just stopped responding. I assumed it wasn't working and few minutes later took the battery out. After trying to boot again it would give me the "mi.com" boot screen (not the default lenovo I used to get) and won't boot into neither recovery nor normal mode. (for recovery boot I'm trying holding both volume buttons and the power button at the same time. perhaps that is different now?)
I'm guessing the flashing was going on and i interrupted it. How can I fix this?
Update: It boots into MIUI now however pretty much nothing works as expected. It wont even go into settings. Recovery still seems botched and i cant boot into it.
TLDR: Recovery broken cant boot into it. Can boot into MIUI with very limited capabilities. Cannot select USB debugging and "adb devices" won't find the phone. What can I do?
Alright nevermind guys I managed to fix it. for anyone wondering or having the same issue, i tried many things but what I think worked is this:
Turnt on my phone in fastboot mode (hold volume - and power button) , connected it to the computer and used command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" to flash the old TWRP i had on my computer. After that I managed to boot my phone in recovery mode and reflash the rom properly. The weird thing is, my phone could not be recognized by the computer and "adb devices" gave me nothing back so I thought using any fastboot command wouldn't work. Oddly, it did and it flashed TWRP back into my phone.

Bootloader mode

Hi anyone who can help please i have a weird problem due to some problems with lost photos etc i had to restore an older twrp image on my moto x force which restored fine but now i am having a problem whenever i reboot the phone it goes back to bootloader fastboot mode and i have to select manually to start it into normal phone mode. I have reflashed twrp recovery thinking it might fix the issue but it is not working. Their is a problem with the boot order and the phone keeps booting to fastboot/bootloader mode whenever restart or turn off and then on again. Any help welcome its not a massive deal but its really bugging me i would like to be able to reboot the phone properly back to phone mode and not bootloader every time.
Ok so I've fixed it by manually flashing stock firmware but I had to reroot. Didn't want to have to duo that but it was the only option
In fastboot mode type fastboot oem fb_mode_clear, I had positive result

TWRP doesn't finish booting into recovery after flashing

Hi everyone! I followed multiple guides on how to unlock and flash TWRP on my LG G6 (H870). I successfully unlocked the bootloader, booted into the fastboot and performed flashing the latest TWRP recovery for my phone. Afterwards, I reboot the phone (tried nearly everything like disconnecting USB before, performed "fastboot reboot" or simply shutting down with the power button) and use the combo to get to the factory reset screen. After yes and yes I see the starting screen of TWRP, but after about five seconds the screen goes black and the phone continues with normal boot.
I appreciate any help!

Bootloader, Recovery, OS all lost, possible EDL?

Hi all,
I unlocked bootloader and tried several custom ROMs. Then I came back to ColorOs 5 version A.15 by converting ozip to zip and flashing from TWRP (twrp-3.4.0-20200610-RMX1801.img) but then I made a great mistake. Without upgrading the stock ROM, I directly wiped 5 and flashed PixelExperience android 10. Upon reboot after a momentary "Realme" splash screen the phone turned off. It can't boot or bootloop, it can't boot to recovery or even bootloader. The only time the screen ever shows a momentary splash screen of Realme is when I long press and release power, thereafter pressing power+volume up. Otherwise it looks dead. The PC can't detect any adb or fastboot interface, only the interface as in attached picture is detected. I think it is EDL mode. At this pandemic situation it's very difficult to access service center, and even if I can, they'll probably flash Realme UI, thereby making bootloader unlock impossible. The most pathetic situation is that I have the ofp file version A.17 for EDL flashing but no virus-free and authentication-free tool to do so. After searching for hours I am asking for your help, if there is any.
EDIT: Nevermind, problem solved by trying different key combinations.

MI A1 can't boot in either stock or custom rom

Hi all,
I hope someone can guide me through. My MI A1 device has suddenly stopped booting for no reason. To fix up I tried many thing but with no luck.
here is link to one of the thread I have followed
Reddit thread
This guy exactly had the same issue as mine but on different model and I followed all the instruction as in this thread.
Summary of things I tried so far (Including instructions from the thread I mentioned) :
- Try mi flash tool to flash stock rom (Which succeeds and nothing actually works )
- Tried my luck with lineage os 17 and GPAPPS but no luck. (Interestingly, when I Install LOS and I the reboot device, it boots in LOS recovery fine but when I try to boot system it just keep rebooting and then finally stops at charging screen.)
PS. One more observation, when I flash it with MIflash tool with stock rom and it boots up for the first time, an intermediate screen with circle logo and erasing text appears just like when we get update screen not sure why!
Guys, this is my last bet on XDA. I almost wasted my whole day searching for solution on #Youtube and other forums, nearly read a ton of things but still no luck!
Please Help!
UPDATE :
Here is a little more progress,
So, I tried flashing the original stock rom boot image with fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
and as usual first it just got rebooted with no luck but later somehow booted the device. I tried the same with recursion OS ROM and then again flashed boot image and just like prev attempt it rebooted first & then booted normally.
Also, when device was booted normally, I received a call and when I tried to pick it, It just got rebooted and I am where I started!
I really don't get the point why it boot when I manually boot it with fastboot and its not able to boot itself.
Anyone knows, why this is happening? Is there a way to clean whole and then install? am I doing something wrong here?
Update :
Yes, confirmed when I flash the boot image from fastboot it does boots up. the only problem is after a few seconds/minutes it just reboot and goes back to problematic state.
This thing is really pissing me off! Can someone help?
Update:
After a few more attempts now, it seems like the device is completely broken! It only boots up in fastboot and does not even boot in recovery ( Volume up + Power)
I also tried with pushing twrp recovery image with fastboot but even though the command succeeds the device just reboots with MI logo continuously.
