So much users have this issue .. model Sm-g970f/ds exynos 9820. Pubg unplay able even after may update frames drop so laggy. The normal solutions not work it's just reduce the lag. Like change resolution from dispaly setting or dolby sound off

Hi ho
Yesterday I upgraded to the Mr. Clean latest ROM. (Nice ROM, fast boot time)
To celebrate my new A2DP goodness I bought a Blueant X5 headset which is offered by a company out of Melbourne, Australia where I live: http://www.blueant.com.au/x5_stereo_bluetooth_headset_headphones_a2dp.htm
I got it all paired and working fine, however when I try to play video in TCPMP which I encoded in PocketDivxEncoder, it's drops frames everywhere and the audio is out of sync. Benchmark shows like 17fps.
If I overclock using OmapClock to 216mhz (the highest I can go and stay stable) then it does improve the video somewhat.
I've also noticed it lags if you multitask while playing an mp3. I haven't tried any games yet but it would really suck if they slowdown too. I can live with the lag when playing audio, but not being able to watch video sort of defeats the purpose of getting headsets for me.
Does anyone know is this just a limitation of the KJAM's speed and that's it, or is there any way I can get the video to work properly, maybe there is a TCPMP expert who can give me some settings to make it run faster, because besides from the slowness I really love these headsets and would hate to have to return them.
Thanks
In my Case, I didn't get any lag by watching Video or hearing music files, I didn't OCed my device, I use the same program (TCPMP) to watch the video, and the same encoder program as you. I don't do anything special when I encode my videos, just the button and done.
It looks like you may have some applications running in your devic which cause this lags and make it runs slow. I am sorry if I wasn't that much help, but I thought maybe my post will give you a light.
BTW my device is Qtek 9100 , and I use the last Qtek Rom.
be careful what videos you try and play...attach the video so we can test the same thing. Make sure it's a low bitrate and QVGA resolution of course.
Hi all, just want to check with you guys, is the youtube playback on your respective HD clear and smooth? Mine isn't clear at all with choppy playback. Even my friend's iphone has clearer playback compared to my HD. Is this normal?

Mine is choppy for the first part of whatever movie I'm watching, I think because it's still buffering in the background. After a while it's done and the video runs silky smooth.
By the way, I only watch YouTube over WiFi.
mine doesn't even after it has load finish, there's poor frame rate and is still slightly choppy. is it normal for it to have poor frame rate/choppiness cause when i view the same clip on my laptop, it's rather clear.
excellent response and framerate (over wifi) using the buit-in utube player but very poor using Coreplayer or other.. Could also be a router issue.
hmm..it has constantly poor frame rate playback no matter where i am, so i doubt it's a router issue. Am I the only one with this problem? It's kinda disheartening to see such poor playback on a HD device..
Mine has smooth, clear playback. I've only tested it using the HSDPA connection. A 17 MB video (4 minutes long) loaded and buffered really quickly (in max 8 seconds) and played smoothly and clear from start to finish.
It could be a problem with the connection, or with a lot of other applications running at the same time, or YouTube itself is sometimes buggy for a certain period of time (even on my desktop PC).
Try restarting or soft-reset your phone. Then connect to your PC via USB cable and activesync. Now view a youtube video. Does that change anything or is it still slow?
My experience with youtube both on wifi and 3g has been excellent I must say. there are some inconsistencies with how the files appear. most will appear FULL SCREEN, some appear as a square box in the middle of the screen (in landscape it's full height, just not the length of the screen). This may simply be something to do with the encoding of the video on youtube, not the connection of program. Just wish iplayer would work over 3 G now lol
BANE
When I watch a YouTube video on my tab I get very noticeable jumps and laggy performance when the video is moving quickly for example when panning across. The video loads and buffers fine and in low definition I do not have this problem. Does anyone know what is going on or if there is fix?
If you don't understand what I mean just let me know and I will take a video of the problem.
Thanks,
Mikey.
Went back to playing Need for speed no limit and surprised that the audio was crackling and lagging like ****, gameplay was very smooth no issues , just the audio
note that it only happens with speaker, and also the stutter happens in short bursts , it's like ok for sometime then it happens , then goes back ok then happens again
for now the only app it happens on is need for speed no limits, i play other intensive apps like pubg and asphalt 9 .. no issue with those , and with any other media things
anyone facing same issue ? anyone would know the reason or a fix ?
I have the same issue with my 7 Pro... Very annoying..
been having it since my OP5 was on nougat, i'd say it's more of a game optimization issue, it's probably not your phone
Hi, I have a picture quality issue when playing Netflix. I also include links to the video. The image is horrible in dark scenes. It is dark and looks like a mosaic.
The paradox is that if I set the quality in Netflix settings to low, the image looks much better and brighter than with High Quality.
I tried turning the Brightness Boost feature on and off in HDR (new setings in A12), but no change. When turned on, it seems to me that there is more mosaic.
I also tried deleting the data in the Netflix application, it didn't help.
I have an OP8 Pro 256GB, A12, with no ROOT, no other intervention.
The mobile was upgraded to A12, reset factors, and then started installing applications and setting up.
I have the highest quality set in Netflix, max data allowed. The cell phone is set to 1080p and 120Hz.
Is it possible that HDR broke? HDR image create software or a physical component on the motherboard? I can't handle it.
I tried to compare it with my brother's OP8pro, but he has an L3. HDR doesn't even turn it on and it plays in SD quality. I have L1. My brother doesn't care. I also attach a video as I compared. That's the brightness I have when I set the LOW quality.
I tried to play DUNA on HBO Max on my and my brother's and it looked good as well as my brother's mobile.
I add another finding. This problem is not only with Netflix, but also with normal playback. I tried to release a 22GB qHD movie and also in the dark scenes a horrible mosaic in the shadows. I tried to play through the gallery, xPlayer, VLC and the same. When I make a printscreen, and I send it to the PC, the photo is like it is played by the PC (okay). So only the mobile phone has a problem. Interestingly, there is no such problem with HBO Max. I often watch movies, series on mobile. It's starting to bother me a lot, and I'm thinking of throwing it at a service station.
Turn off DC dimming.
and where do you have dc dimming options in oos12 ??
I tried this tutorial but it didn't work.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ing-oneplus-login-option-in-settings.4251453/
I'm not sure if it's been removed in OOS12, but you can try searching in the settings. I'm using a custom ROM right now, and my menu layout is different than OOS12, but I'm pretty sure you have an option like that in OOS11.
You might need to enable Developer Options to be able to find it.
DC dimming uses a different technique to control the brightness of the display panel at low levels. It basically turns the pixels off if the value would be close to black. This increases battery life slightly, but you lose some detail in dark scenes in movies and such.

You're wrong. It's not about DC dimming. On android 12 aosp there is also a problem with displaying HDR content the same as on oos12. I know because today I was flashing derpfest and there was also a problem with Netflix. There is no problem on oos11
