Thank you for the answer, but I mean, Light Rom 9.0 Pie v8, which does not move Bootloader and Modem. I want to stay at the V2ERE8 and V2 Bootloader Modem so that I can go back to Oreo 8.0 2ERE8.

Sd card
You need to move rom to sd card to install it it DOESNT work from usb or internal storage let me tell you how you can flash pie on your phone
This specific rom work with flashing from internal storage
1. Download n8 port rom(pie)
2. Wipe everything data system cashe etc.
3. After wiping connect your phone to pc and move n8 rom to internal storage
4. And install it normally from the phone

I dnt have that rom but 1 suggestion. Before flashing any Pie based rom plz update your TWRP to latest version. The version you are using right now will not mount data partition after flashing and will cause issues and you won't b able to backup the rom or down grade to oreo.

Full Wipe With TWRP No Rom

Hey guys
I basically did a full wipe of my S4 I9505 because I wanted to change roms the new rom is the Dirty Unicorn in the i9505 thread. Everything has gone the last thing TWRP said before I turned it off was my phone wasn't rooted and to install SU then it went off. I tried to restart the phone in download mode which works then tried to reboot normally it wouldn't go past the start screen. I am assuming I need to flash TWRP the Dirty Unicorn Rom through Odin? Is what I'm thinking right or is there alternatives?
TWRP doesn't care if your phone is rooted or not.
Can you boot into TWRP?
If not, try flashing TWRP again through Odin then flash Dirty Unicorns with TWRP.
Thanks for that GDReaper it doesn't boot into TWRP now. I'll try that as soon as possible.
With the Dirty Unicorns rom it said do a full wipe I'm assuming that's the standard TWRP wipe even though it said do internal and external sd card wipe?

you never have to wipe external, if you did and also wiped internal as well you'd be deleting all your user files including the new rom you intended to flash. that would leave you needing to download the rom and gapps again on a computer and then transferring them to your external SDcard before you could continue.
click on wipe, then advanced wipe and tick
dalvik/art
cache
data
preload
and system... then swipe to start the process
actually there is a time when you might wipe all your memory including internal and external memory but it should be telling you that you have to backup all your files somewhere first I'm such cases...
Thanks for that 3mel!
That's what happened. I'm assuming I need to put my sd card in a card reader and transfer that way?
yes or if you have an adaptor for it, it might go into an SD slot if your laptop has one...
It's booting up now I can't thank you guys enough for your quick responses and sound advice!
Installation:
You must have flashed a Android 7.0 Samsung Firmware with Odin.
TWRP recovery
Format data in recovery
First installation needs a full wipe! (Updating to newer releases a dirty flash will do)...

There is no way to flash Android 7.0 to this phone with Odin.

Is it posible to go back to a Nougat ROM from an Oreo ROM

Since I've installed it the entire camera module doesn't work properly, so I've been thinking about it.
Obviously it's through TWRP.

Yes you can. Do full wipe in TWRP install nougat ROM for example AEX. Then wipe dalvik and cache and for last format data to remove encryption. Done, you got Nougat ROM installed.

[FIX][8.1][Treble]Decryption Unsuccessful and TWRP Internal Storage 0MB

As the tittle says, this is my current workaround for issues that happened after most people update their AOSP based ROMs after 3rd July 2018.
Decryption Unsuccessful
Q: Why does this happens ?
A: There's some weird issues with the latest AOSP based ROM that makes encrypted ext4 based data partition unable to be decrypted in both system and older version of TWRP if you're encrypted before (intentionally or unintentionally). This however doesn't apply to F2FS and unencrypted ext4 data partition.
Q: How do I solve this ?
A: There's 2 ways you can do to solve this issue.
The best way and the most recommended way is to repartition your data into F2FS. However it does require you to do a backup beforehand since this will wipe everything in your internal storage.
1. Backup your internal storage from TWRP (either to a SD card or PC via ABD)
2. Format it by going into TWRP and select Format and choose "wipe data"
3. Type "yes" and let the process end.
4. Flash your ROM and GApps.
5. Finish the setup without setting any screen lock so that it doesn't encrypt your data partition.
-Or-
The other way does is to install a custom kernel is made after 20 July 2018
List of kernel that can boot successfully without the need to wipe /data :
-Xenial b25x or newer
-Revolt EAS-R13
(Got kernel that works and doesn't show up here? TELL ME, I'll add it to my list for everyone's reference)
Link for the working TWRP that can detect Internal Storage :
Jairus' modded TWRP
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=5862345805528049168
Or you can look up Orange Fox recovery
(link will be added soon)
Good Stuff Also This Happened to me while i was using the Android P DP3 i tried twrp and redwolf and was the same i flashed the Orange Fox and it worked
Does this twrp can flash both treble and non treble ROM?

*Only in recovery, not in boot. The only way to fix decryption unsuccessful on boot is to either repartition data to F2FS or flash a custom kernel that's made after 20 July. List on working kernels is on main thread.
First I tried orange fox beta and it showed my internal storage
Then I flashed the RR endless
But the encryption was still there
Then I tried the twrp from this thread and flashed rom with latest xenial
And it worked no problem
Thank you
How for steps come from nougat Rom up to Oreo, should i flash xenial kernel directly after the ROM flashed? i want flash Aicp Oreo currently i'm on Los14.1

Sine you are using nougat i recommend to format data (wipes internal storage) so take a backup if you want
And I have also seen users reporting bugs about aicp oreo on telegram so try some other ROMs like resurrection remix, screwd, lineage os extended, aex ........
All oreo Roms are now treble
So use treble twrp
And treble magisk

Thanks,So i must format internal too,. It's ok but how if i want to comeback use nougat..? I hear who's downgrade after using oreo will get "encryption was interrupted" on any nougat los/aosp base rom, should be format internal for working back the devices..
I think by this thread shared we get solution for who's want to downgrade from oreo without facing encryption issue enytime for oreo back to nougat or vice

Flash the rom and test it out if you can boot it. I think most rom now have native support for ext4 based data partition.
If you can't boot however, try one of the kernel listed on the OP.
What if i flash Jairus' modded TWRP from fastboot? Does it solve the encryption problem without losing all the data? Also does it work on non-treble roms?

Finally i can confirm for fixed "encryption was interrupted" by changing data partition into F2FS, yes i think it's only way to get free from that, i'v been test it back to back from oreo down to nougat or vice, no worry anymore
Below screenshot for oreo left side and nougat in right

Read the OP, the recovery only help you boot into recovery and format your data partition or flash a custom kernel to allow you to boot into system as this issue does affect some older version of TWRP recovery. The recovery alone can't help you boot into system.
I took out my sdcard and did format data on the internal storage and now i can't mount my sdcard. Didn't think about the fact that removing the encryption on the internal storage would make it unable to recognize the encryption on the sdcard afterwards. Is there any way to fix this? Or did I just screw myself?
---------- Post added at 01:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:00 PM ----------
When I reinstalled the rom and tried to boot it still asks me for my password which still works even though I can't boot because it says that the data is corrupted. But the encryption key should still be stored somewhere apparently. There must be a way to use it to decrypt the sdcard.

Hi. Have you used this instructions?

Let us know about your phone's recovery, which magisk version you used, If you're using TWRP as your recovery let us know your TWRP recovery's version. Also did you dirty flashed your OTA or clean?

Im not sure what instructions are you talking about but this isnt the first time i root my device.
Im using TWRP 3.2.1 since the last version giving me a little problems when trying to root. Im using the last magisk version.
About dirty or clean.. I first tried just flashing nornal from the OTA and then after it worked (no wifi or LTE) i tried to do factory reset and root again

Try flashing this first https://sourceforge.net/projects/cheeseburgerdumplings/files/16.0/cheeseburger/recovery/
Download ota again and clean flash it from the recovery.
It might be because your TWRP isn't compatible to Pie. Most people here including me tried codework's TWRP and it solved any of our issues.
Edit: after flashing magisk reboot your phone once more. (i didn't knew it before. I booted into my os and checked magisk app to see if root was successfull but it didn't show me. I wiped everything down and flashed magisk again. Same thing happened. Rebooted my phone and saw root was on )

Wait the wifi and the LTE problem can be caused by the recovery?

I would suggest do a complete clean install (wiping everything but USB OTG) and making sure you got the latest TWRP from blu_spark or codeworkx. Also flash it following these instructions:
[Clean Flash] For Users with an Unlocked Bootloader and TWRP Recovery:
- Download the full ROM zip from the downloads section above
- Transfer the zip to the root of your device's internal storage
- Only needed if you are coming from Oreo or if you use an old TWRP recovery that's not the latest and Pie compatible: Remove the compatibility.zip from the downloaded full ROM zip with either MiXplorer or Total Commander (not with any other tool!) on your device itself
- Reboot to TWRP recovery (make sure you're using siankatabg's TWRP if you're on Oreo or codework's TWRP/blu_spark TWRP if you're on Pie) and take a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
- Flash Magisk Uninstaller (recommended)
- From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache, cache, system, vendor and data> Swipe to wipe
- From the TWRP menu, Install > Select full ROM zip (modified one with compatibility.zip removed, in case you're on Oreo or unmodified one, in case you're on Pie) > Swipe to flash
- Flash the latest stable Magisk in case you want to root
- From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache and cache > Swipe to wipe
- Optional: If you wish to decrypt, format data via TWRP (please note that wiping the data partition, which we did in the 5th step above, is not the same as formatting it) and after that flash Disable DM-Verity and ForceEncrypt 2.0 (OP5-5T-Treble).zip from here
- Reboot

i ended up giving up..
im trying to do a clean flash
but the moment i flash the recovery and trying to go into the recovery
boom
black screen
i tried it multiple times both with codework 3.2.3 and blu_spark
Edit: Flash universal codework 3.2.1 does get me into recovery
im gonna restore my backup...for now

For the "Clean" Install given that OnePlus5 doesn't have external microSD storage, will ALL data (photos, documents etc) on the phone be erased in Step 6 above?

No, it wont because all of that is stored in the Internal Storage. So as long as you don't check that, you will still have your data. However, I personally wipe everything including the internal storage when moving to a new rom. I prefer to start with a complete clean slate but it is optional.

Just a little question about upgrade

Hey,
My Mi A1 have TWRP, Magisk, and bootloader unlocked on Android 8.1.0, but I want to upgrade to Android 9 and go back to full stock device (bootloader lock and original TWRP), my question is, what i need to do before ? Just flash with miflash latest rom and check clean all and lock or I need to go back to stock on Android 8.1.0 and do ota update to Android 9 ?
Thanks )
You can wipe everything in twrp and then flash this
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Uh4CR2-MXBYsSQL6BTnv4xpkCjEh7ZFn/view?usp=drivesdk
Then you can lock it.
Just make a twrp backup and save it to your sdcard or computer , just in case.

Thanks, so in TWRP I check all in wipe (dalvik, data, internal, cache and system)? And after that I mount data and drop the rom with USB and flash it ?
And after that i'll not have TWRP anymore ?
I try this, this monday
