LineageOS 15.1 (unofficial) Oreo Galaxy S5 SIM fix HELP? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I'm on this ROM and it's stable except sometimes the SIM card drops and I have no signal. This happens when I boot and sometimes during regular phone operation. I tried to change my network status to LTE only as suggest by some users but then my phone says I have no network connection. I also have reset preferences for Wifi, Bluetooth, Network in settings and reset the SIM card by taking it out and putting it back in with and restarting the phone. Is there a fix to this? Im on the latest baseband G900VVZW2DQL1 on Verizon.

[Q] Cellular Network problems after Android 5.0

After updating to Android 5.0 (official release), my nexus 4 is having some problems with cellular networks. Phone works fine until suddenly it loses the cellular network, network signals disappear and only gets it back after rebooting.
So far I have tried
1. Tried to turn off the radio and then turn it on
2. Changing the Sim Card
3. Factory reset
4. re-flashing factory images
5. Turning the airplane mode on & off
6. tried different network setting (GSM only, WCDMA preferred, GSM/WCDMA auto etc)
Nothing seems to solve the problem. The only way to get the signals back is to reboot. Phone was working fine before updating to Android 5.0. Is there anything else I could try to fix this issue? Any help regarding this problem will be highly appreciated.

[UAE] No Signal in Phone

Hi,
I had updated my S8 device to the newer update G950FXXU1AQJ5 in my device [SM-G950FD]. But after the update, my phone ain't receiving any signal. The phone is detecting sim card and micro SD but ain't getting the mobile network. What to do? I had even flashed firmware again still the problem exists. Please suggest a way to overturn this problem.
P.S.: Sim is of UAE only. Even *#*#4636#*#* is not working.
Hello! I am having the same problem here in Saudi Arabia, it randomly disappears. Did you find a fix?

Dual SIM and mobile data doesn't work after upgrading to marshmallow

hi, i have samsung galaxy grand prime SM-G531H. the original version of my phone was android lollipop but recently i upgraded it to marshmallow. but i have some problems, the mobile data doesn't work (the wifi connection works perfectly tho). i've tried everything the internet have said: factory reset, networks settings reset, turning on/off the airplane mode, turning on/off the cellular data, changing the APN, taking out the sim cards from the slot, rebooting the phone, but nothing works.
but recently i've found out if i only use 1 sim card slot the mobile data will work. but i need both of the sim cards. anyway i usually use the 1st SIM as mobile data, and the 2nd one for texting/calls. so... anyone know how to fix this problem? thanks in advance.

radio/network/modem/dual sim problem. pls help

my moto e3 power has a serious network problem
in single sim mode it works fine, but in dual sim mode the non-data sim constantly loses signal (emergency only/no service)
and when I play around with switching things on and off like airplane mode/mobile data/sim card slot activation it gets worse, both sim cards loses signal and sometime even showing that the sim was enabled even when i disabled it
there's so many things I've tried and I honestly don't know what I've missed
here's some things I've tried
clear cache from internal storage, from twrp
reset app preferences
safe mode
network settings reset
factory reset
flashing fresh stock rom (download only and format +download)
custom rom ( lineageos 14.1 7.1.2)
downgrade stock rom to s131 (currently s147)
maybe there's something else i tried but i don't remember
any suggestions?
oh and I attached some screenshot of my phone's anomaly
pls help:fingers-crossed:

Unable to make calls using Jio

Some background first; prior to this whole fiasco I was using LOS 15.1 with a Jio and a Vodafone SIM card. Everything worked fine and I faced no issues with calls or data. Last week I traveled to Thailand. There in order to use data services, I bought an AIS travelers SIM card. There too, I faced no problems with calls or data. This sunday I returned back to India and popped in my Jio SIM card. I could use data, but couldn't make any calls. If the network was switched / cell tower was changed the network would drop completely and I need to reboot my phone to get the network back. So for solving this issue, I've tried various methods none of which have worked. I'll list them below:
1. Network settings reset; no effect
2. Reconfigure the APN settings; no effect
3. Reflashed the modem / firmware; no effect
4. Full factory reset and clean flash of LOS 15.1 with latest GApps and Magisk; data no longer works
If someone has faced this issue, please guide me. This phone is my primary device and I don't even have a secondary device on me right now.
Thanks in advance.
