Problem with overcharging - Zuk Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have a problem with my ZUK Z1, I can't charge it correctly. The phone warms up greatly when charging, to the condition when it starts reboot. When I connect it to the computer, it does not charge due to too high a current level. Problem appears on several chargers. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Phone hadn't got contact with water.

Very Weird charge problem

Hi All,
I am facing a very weird charging issue. When I plug the HTC HD2 to wall charge the led keeps blinking orange and green and battery shows 100%(When its actually not) when i pull it off the charge i get the original battery reading. Phone is not charging at all. Same thing happens when i connect to PC.
Please help
normally happens if the phone is overheating
the issue was that the pins where battery connects were little bend, once fixed phone started charging. The other issue is that phone is taking almost 4 hours to completely charge. VERY SLOW CHARGE. IS there anything i can do for it ?

[Q] I9500 Battery temperature related to sim card help

Hello, so I have a strange problem, both official and custom roms work fine without a sim card installed but when the sim card is in the battery temperature reads at a constant unfluctuating 70 degrees (which it really isn't because it's not even warm) according to temperature monitoring app, this causes various problems. Without the sim card installed the readings are around 40 degrees which seems accurate.
I've tried using another sim card and it has the same issue.
On official 4.4.2 the battery temp reading means that I can't charge the phone while it's on, it gets the "charging paused, battery temperature too high" popup as soon as i plug in a the usb cable via charger or pc, but it charges when the phone is off. All other usb functions work normally, file transfer, adb. I would assume this is because the software thinks the battery temperature is 70 degrees.
On other roms as soon as it connects to my phone network while booting it then shuts down presumably because of the same temperature issue.
I haven't seen anyone with this particular problem, i've seen a lot of charging paused because temperature is too high or too low issues but none of them mentioned the sim card thing and they either fixed it by changing the usb board or they changed it and the issue still persisted and remains unsolved.
It's quite frustrating and the only solution i could think of is to somehow manually set the temperature reading so it wouldn't think it's overheating, is that even doable? Has anyone ever encountered this or has any advice?
I have now replaced the usb charging board and battery and the problem still persists, any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

Rapid Battery Drop / Not Fully Charging - Help Needed!

Hi All,
I've had my Elephone P7000 for a few months and was generally loving it (a few small bugs but nothing I can't live with).
Over the last few weeks i've had battery problems - to start the phone doesn't always charge to 100% overnight (on a high-powered charger) and I am now experiencing rapid drops in battery level (often drops from 30% to 0% in a minute). Pic attached.
I have tried resetting the phone, flashed to Aerom V3, replaced the battery and the problems still persist. My fear is that the hardware of the phone which detects battery levels is faulty and is making me want to change phones.
Has anybody experienced similar problems with Elephone or Android in general? Are there any fixes?
Thanks,
James

If u r having this issues across ROMs then something is wrong within the panel and that could b probably the charging cct being faulty.
Sent from my Letv X500 using Tapatalk
Use original cable and original loader - and the phone will charge within 3,5-4h
With non original cables on original wall chargers - during 7h not full loaded.
On a non original high power wall charger with original cable - there is a chance.
I'm using a high power charger (6 port USB / 50W) it works, if I use a SAMSUNG cable.

SM-T230NU not charging or booting past Samsung splash

Hi, I'm a bit desperate for help here. My sister's SM-T230NU isn't powering on at all when not plugged into a wall charger. It boots when plugged into an outlet, but it'll flash the Samsung splash for about half a second before the screen turns black. It cycles between these states every 5 or so seconds. I can't get it to even boot into recovery. This issue's been prevalent since last night, and it started when she tried to use it while the battery was empty and it was plugged into the wall. I've ruled out the possibility of a defective charger, as I already tried it with my kindle fire HD's USB cord; it did the same thing. She let it sit overnight to charge, but I don't think it's charged at all too much, considering the persistence of this behavior. Any suggestions (aside from the fact that the charger port is defective; that is a prevalent issue encountered in the past)?
I'm having the same problem with my wife's. I suspect the battery is toast. Did you resolve your issue?

Not yet. I had a family friend take a look at it, and they suspected a higher voltage charger might be needed to help it charge a little better. I haven't played with it since then, as I don't have a higher voltage power brick (yet) or time to test it out. I might do so in the future though.
Try these:
Factory reset
Switch rom
Different charger
Samsung support if warrant still remaining

Turns on when plugged in and not charging

Hi guys,
I own a p8 lite (ALE-L21) variant. Its battery gone dead and I replaced a new battery. Since then when I plugged in the phone (with oem charger 1A) it doesn't show charging. But somehow after I left it plugged in for a while, it has been charged. Then I plugged it out and started to work. The battery drops down like 10 and 5 percent at a time (like 85>70>65>60>50>40>30>20>10). Battery lasts for like a day by normal use.
when I power off the phone and plugged in. It autoboots.
If I restart the phone while plugged in the battery percentage increases. But it never increases than 85%
Is this a result of power ic (hi6361gfc) failure
Can you help me to figure what's the problem.
Thanks...
Similar situation here. Any ideas? Did you fixed it? Cheers

Nope
My degraded OEM battery is the same model but the little board and flex are slightly different, I have been refunded on the new original battery with the no charging behavior the ray appears but disappears right away.
The weird thing is that the first battery charges.
I was trying to figure what's wrong before buying another Huawei battery. I'll just risk it as a last attempt
Did you manage fixing it in anyway? New charging port or battery?
