CAMERA HLP NEEDED PLS!!!!

Hi everyone. first id like to say this has been a very helpful site thanks to everyone here. But has anyone ever found a tweak to save pictures on SD instead of Main Memory or Network. I still want to keep my network folder. But the camera options limit me to choosing either main memory or network and not SD Card. So please if anyone has found a tweak for this, please help. Thank you very much.
as i know, u don't need to use tweak for ur problem. there's an original option in your wizard. u can go to PREFERENCES when you turn on the camera, then go to TOOLS --> OPTIONS --> GENERAL Tabs --> then you can see "Save to" option, which u can choose main memory or storage card as well.
i hope this can help you... Gut luck!!!

yea, but the thing is, it will only show main memory and network. it doesn't give me the option to save to SD. hopefully someone has fixed this. I don't understand why it won't show all three folders.
I got the same problem. Before I did all the tweakings I had options to save my pictures to storage card and main memory. But after doing the tweaks it now shows Network and Main Memory.
Anyway I managed to get the thing resolved. The issue is with Resco Explorer. If you set the Network as a Folder Under Device, then this problem will appear. Make your Network as Network Root and you should see the Storage Card as in ricky_prayugo's instruction.
Hope this helps...

Music Tap/ Ringtone/ Resco Expore Today Plugin Error

Hi Guys!
Did anyone of you experience these bugs happen together?
1. The ringtone suddenly disappear or no ringtone no sound but vibrate.
2. Play music from HTC Sense fail. Keep changing to the next songs until the album finish, but there's no sound playing. Even you select one song only but still cannot play anything.
3. If anyone of you have Resco Explore Today Plubin, you'll found out there's no icon showing at your today screen. But tap it it's working.
After few tests, I found out that these kind of problem can be recover from reset the connection through the "connection setup". Or restore my HD2 from another back up file from spb backup 2.
I discover these bugs will show up after I did these few things:
1 Bad reception for more then 10 to 20 mins.
2 After browning internet by using Opera 9.7 or Opera 10 beta 2 (I assume it's the internet connection problem)
3 Update the contact information from the contact> facebook update.
I'm using 1010 at HK and did install the CSL hotfix from HTC, before I though that it's the hotfix file problem, but someone using Smartone has experience the same bugs.
I tried to delete the all the registry from HTC sense regarding the music tap; delete the file under the folder Application Data> HTC> AudioManager_Eng. But still cannot have the music play from HTC Sense.
So anyone feel the same bugs? Pls share!!!!!
No body help??
any ideas?
I have the same problems with my phone. Does any of your media-files work? Does WMP open the files?
In my case
.WMP just won't open. (Not directly opening the app, or by opening a MP3 file.)
.No sound from the HTC Sense music-tab
.No ringtone what so ever. (Even after selecting a ringtone, my HD2 says i have selected no ringtone. Indicated by "None")
yes! these kind of bugs happen sometimes as well, really need help here....
I have the same problem!
No sound at all! Ringtone just says "none".
I am on a Dutch 1.48ROM and all I did was install JWMD Icon Changer and Brian's Taskbar, but I do not know if it is related to those apps.
This is the second time it happend to me!
First time i fixed it with a hard reset, but I hope there is another solution.

Why is my Facebook picture cache in my albums folder?

I just notice this happening about 5 days ago. Before, I could slide to Photos & Videos > Albums > Albums and under 'My Device" I see an "All Folder", "Camera Shots Folder", "My Pictures Folder", "My Wallpappers Folder". Well now, I'm seeing what looks like Facebook pictures in folders. The folders consist of just 1 or 2 pics, some folder have as many as 8 pics but there all from Facebook. Ther is as many as 60+ folders of very small blurry thumbnail pics. I don't know why they started appearing here.
When I go to Start > My Device > Temp > fbimagecache
I see all the folders of the pics here but when I delete them all, they come back. Can somebody help me get rid of these permanently? Why is this happening now? Ive been using FB on my USHD2 for 16days, this has never occurred until 5 days ago.
I also had this problem. It happens because the new version of the Facebook app caches images, thus they appear in the Album. Every time you update the Facebook app, the images will reappear. To exclude the pictures from the Album, use a registry editor and go to HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAlbum\Exclusions and create a new registry key with the string value \temp\fbimagecache. The name of the key doesn't matter. The next time you open Album, the pictures will be excluded.

just for info, mine is HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAlbum\Ignored
I assume thats the same key.
How do I access the registry? Or is there another way of doing it without going that route (like Menu > Options > Disable FB Cache To Album lol). Does registry edit void the warranty?
Also another question, why does the phone save random screenshots in my 'TEMP' folder? This adds to space, how do I stop it from doing that?

hey raadius, just saw your post in the other thread
as for this, I have just done the registry tweak myself as i was having the same problem and it works
download the last attachment called total commander: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=325975
open it from the start menu
open the folder and double click '//' and then 'registry'
follow the post above for where to go and what to do
hope this helps
hiya, just done this and now ALL of the photos on my SD card are hidden, even the folders don't show up in file explorer. Tried to delete the reg key and it won't let me!!!!!! any ideas?
Edit: It seems this hack has DELETED ALL THE PHOTOS OFF MY SD CARD.....very strange.....luckily I got most of them on my PC backed up

Mediascape problem

i've been using the startup auditor recently for saving ram and battery, which is working ok
but just found out that the mediascape stopped updating the media data at the background, e.g. adding/deleting photos
does anyone know which service/app at the background which i must not disable it from startup in order to get the mediascape updating working again?
thanks in advance
just sorted out, the "Download Manager" and "Media Storage" must not be disabled
thanks a lot guys

Removing application problems

After restoring some of my phones databases after a hard reset I have found that in my application list I have a whole bunch of stuff that I had installed previously but don't currently have installed. After highlighting and clicking 'remove' it brings up a message saying the program isn't installed but would I like to remove it from the list of apps. So I obviously click yes...yet the application remains in the list.
This has made the list somewhat difficult to sift through in order to find a genuinely installed app. Is there any other way I can remove these names from the list?
Thank you.

There may be an easier way, but the best way I found was to reinstall the app, then remove it ...
@Redeyedrichard
sometimes reinstalling doesnt work...i found another fix online which works...
Start memmaid
jump to > databases > database usage> SwMgmtMetadataStore > browse
Look for the entry which cannot be uninstalled, highlight it and delete it
don't forget to soft reset after
Go to the folder \Windows\AppMgr and you'll see folders of (presumably) installed software.
Delete any folder in here that you want.
(But, when you delete a folder that program cannot be uninstalled normally, so take care to remove only those which have been restored and not reinstalled!)

Not quite sure how to access this...what is "memmaid"??? Thanks.
And Bright Light, your suggestion didn't work. All of the apps appear in that folder are currently installed. Thanks anyway.
