No.1 G3 new round smartwatch coming soon...

Hi Everyone,
Just want to inform you guys that I received information about the release of a new smartwatch from the Chinese manufacterer No.1.
This model will be the G3.
The watch will have a full round display of 240x240 pixels, powered by a MediaTek MT2520 processor.
The watch has 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM memory. The memory can be expanded with a SD card up to 16 GB.
It also holds a micro SIM card slot for 2G connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0 (LP) is also available.
Ofcourse a microphone and speaker are integrated, so one can call directly from the watch without the need of a connected phone.
The watch will come in 3 colors : black, white/silver and black/gold

Correct, the K8/K9 and D5 and G3 are all copies of the Samsung Gear S2.
They all look very simular.
But this G3 has no Android and therefor cannot be customized easily, at least not like the Android based watches.
But than again, the prize is very low.
Watching the YT video, it looks not to be the fastest watch but it can do everything other watches can do.
So this one could get very popular.

Sorry, you are right...I have to take that back. I was too quick in giving my reply.
The K8 and D5 don't even look like the S2 and have full Android as OS (where the S2 has Tizen as OS I believe).
I was interested in the D5 for a long time, untill I read that it can only be used as a phone with use of a simcard and not over BT (correct me if I'm wrong please).
As I have two Android Wear watches (Gear 2 with custom AW rom + Moto 360 1st gen), I do like the Android part in a watch whether being it full Android or Android Wear.
And I've owned a Gear 1 too, which had a full version of Android installed (version 4.4.2 I believe).
I only wanted to state that this watch is cheap and can do a lot that more expensive watches can do.

Anyone else get one of these yet? Still haven't found the clock file or folder they advertise as being customizable to create your own watch faces.

Just got mine today.
Pretty cool device for the money.
No luck with the watch faces either.
Hopefully we can chip in for some development

I had make one custom watch face. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3688278&d=1458359870 please download in your computer, then connect the watch and move the file to watch, you can use the watchface!

I've received my 3rd watch now from No.1 and this one is crap too! 2 times the display was a mess and now the simcard slot is broken.
Not a single No.1 product for me ever again!
Remember guys, the watches are cheap because the hardware sucks big time !
Spend a few more bucks on a real decent product and you will be a lot happier.

just wondered if anyone knows if the antennas are in the strap for this phone, have seen it with a metal band you see. also what width are the band fastenings for a replacement band?

Antennae are not in the strap. Also there are metal straps to choose from.

Yes but if you look the the Hardware under product specifications , you see that the no.1 G4 support 2G Network connection when the no.1 S5 does not

have ordered mine week ago, when I will have it I will extract its firmware and then we'll know for sure if is supporting some modding in order to get some new watch faces

you need to plug your hearphones to you device if you don't want musin to stream to the watch speker

Firstly, I connect it with android phone and has no problems. Also it has been updated to 2.5.2.
Then when I try to connect with iphone 5s it disconnect after 20-30 sec.

It is because F2 is not compatible with your IOS 10.3 system, have you rooted your phone? I found some rooted phone will have a compatibility issue with all these watches(not only F2,but other brands watches do)

This is the IOS 10.3 issue, usually the Smartphone OS update will bring a couple of apps/devices compatibility issue.

I'm with iphone 5s ios 10.2 . It is the same problems. Just app and watch are for trash bin.
Also NO.1 F2 Smartwatch do not have own temperature, barometer and UV sensors -be careful!!
It is use internet and/or phone sensors . But the app also do not works!!!

Temperature, barometer and UV sensors NOT WORKS, it depends of the app FundoBracelet and it is full of issues. NO1 IS NOT GIVING SUPPORT!! No updates are in the timeline to solve this!
Be care if you re interested on it.(at least at this moment).

I resolve a trouble with 2-3sec app crashes!
Note, this bug always if wifi is switched on!
I disable wifi in my iphone with IOS 10.3 and F2 successfully connected with app FundoBracelet!
After it you may turn on wifi.
Maybe No.1 fix it bug in app for all people?

2gb RAM, 16gb ROM and a Quadcore processor OMG you can run a mission to mars with that power! =0

Yes, this smartwatch looks very good. With the 16GB, you must have to use at least 12, so you can easily download and install whatever you need from Google Playstore

Root and TWRP are the only elements that can make this watch worthwhile.
It looks powerful on paper. I look forward to it

I have the watch one week. i would say its work fine, but there is a problem with gps fix. The watch see the satelittes but its dont want to catch a fix. Some other people on roundandriodwatches has the sam problem . I have try to contact with the finow company, but at this time i have any response.
some poeple write the watch dont have WIFI but on my watch is works fine .

If you dont touch the watch it will hold the power 20 hour, but the watch was not made to run in sleep mode . If You will use it it will run not more then 6-8 hours like you wrote. I did not have the possibility to test the watch wit maps and gps , like i wrote upper the watch dont catch at this time the gps fix , and we wait for an ota update

The Air also has the WCDMA 850 & 1900 (as well as 2100) 3G bands so it should work on both AT&T & T-mobile. Most smart watches seem to only have 850/2100. 850 is AT&T in some (most?) U.S. markets, 2100 is (I think) Europen/Asian markets. So I think that could be an important factor (especially if your in a 1900Mhz only AT&T market).
It's the only 2GB ram/16GB storage whatch I'v run across with the 3G 1900Mhz. I4 AIR and the LEMFO LEM5 are 850/2100 only

How to root and install twrp in FINOW X5 AIR smart watch
I have FINOW X5 AIR since 1 month, waiting for installing TWRP recovery and Root by SuperSU.
Kindly help me by describing and uploading files to do that .

Well I found this watch, its specs are great. I don't know why they gave the same name as Q1 but they added pro. But I couldn't find any review, forum etc. about this one. Can you please check?

Finow Q1 Pro, it's a square watch available from Finow's store on Aliexpress at the moment, same spec by the looks of it as the Microwear H5, tempted to get one as I really liked the original Finow Q1

Q1 PRO seems better at the battery is bigger 720 mah vs 600 mah H5
H5 is better in camera, it has 5mp vs 2mp Q1 PRO
Q1 PRO is smaller then H5

Absolutely if you like a front facing camera (Q1 Pro) instead of a camera that points to the sky (H5). Yes it actually points to the sky not forward or front.

Just ordered the Black/Red Q1 Pro!

Yup, got mine the other day, so far so good.
The UI is really good, it even has a full 'stock' settings menu like a regular phone.
My only criticism so far would be that with stock launcher you cannot add Clock skins, however if it is a 'must' for some users then Eric's clock skin launcher on Play store works fine with it.
Only had it a couple of days so not had much of a chance to test it out much, but it seems the battery is holding up good so far.
All in all I would consider it a great purchase! :good:

Good to hear it's going well. Considering buying one for my son. He's 11 and needs a way to stay in touch with me. Don't really want him to have to carry a full sized phone around.
How's the build quality?
How small does the band go?
I've been reading about people having trouble with the magnetic charging system not working on various phones because of problems with sweat/oil getting on the contacts. Hopefully you don't run into that issue!

Hi, the Finow pictures only shown "Frequency Band" WCDMA: B1(2100mhz)/B2(1900mhz)/B8(900mhz). Does this watch support B5(850mhz) and can we set the screen resolution size to 320 for this watch?

No idea on the band frequency to be honest, and screen resolution 320?

Thanks for your information, I have confirmed with Finow that this watch does not support B:850mhz.

hard to answer as people use their devices differently.
But I get 2 days on a full charge with light/normal use, however I work from home, so only have WiFi on airplane mode on as I don't need calls at home, general use is checking messages, social media, a few video's etc

Hi, I just received mine and am in mixed mood state.
The watch has improved compare to the original model except the screen (240x240) and thickness but the software seems unfinished.
Some bugs are really embarrassing and I hope we will get some updates :
- Sometimes Wifi disconnect and I must reboot my net box to get it work again ! It could be related to the "NVRAM WARNING" problem (Wifi connections list)
- Phone is working but I am unable to connect in 4G/3G (France) and to set any network parameters.
- Push notifications dont come to the watch.
Did someone get rooting this device ?

Google fit allways crashes , and i didn't find any good app with good visual ?
